OMG ID LOVE A COOKBOOK!! Specifically desserts though.. Maybe with a section for cakes, one for cupcakes, one for cookies 😋 id buy it in a heartbeat!

I would buy that cook book in a heart beat! A back to basics cookbook is a good idea because you don’t want to put all your recipes out there all at once but instead over the period of a couple of books. Let me just say I grew up without a mother figure to teach me recipes and watching your videos has helped me to make things from scratch and to be the best mom I can be to my daughter. You’re an inspiration! ❤️

Summer is coming and I plan to visit home (Vancouver) for my vacation. I absolutely love sangria and sangria blanc. Could you perhaps do a video on your take on them PLUS some food/desserts that pair well with sangria? Thanks again! Great vids!
You should make your cook book in volumes. baking, hosting and savory recipes! i would buy them all!
You are an amazing cook/baker/teacher and just all around great young man. I finally tried your vanilla cupcakes and they were so simple and so delicious! My hubs ate all of them (dieting right now) so he was happy to have them all to himself. As other posters have commented perhaps a cookbook? I know there is a lot of work/money/time which goes into it, but I can only assume we would gladly wait for it to become a reality! I love to bake, so would love, love to see a cookbook on all your amazing pastries! Thanks so much for taking your time and sharing your knowledge with all of us.
Hi John, would love to buy your cookbook! I think doing only desserts would be nice, and having all of the tips that are featured in your videos on paper would be super helpful! Maybe you could have a section dedicated to recipes (like the eclairs, cookies, etc) and another section specifically for cake decorating (technique, frostings, etc). Love your videos!
I'd love a section on cakes, especially several pages on common pitfalls in cake baking and cake decorating. The best part of your macaron video was seeing you lay out all of the common mistakes so no one else has to make them. If you have something like that for cakes (and everything else), that would be incredibly helpful. Also, thank you for posting so many wonderful videos! They are so incredibly relaxing and wholesome.
Love your videos! Thank you for sharing them. I bought some baking strips and made a carrot layer cake for Easter. It was flat on the top just like you said it would be. You Rock!
If I would have payed attention more to my moms amazing baking ability while she was here I would be much further along.

Would love to see the cookbook be desserts specifically, but including pastries and cookies (rather than just cakes). I would buy it in an instant. I made your chocolate eclair recipe and they were amazing on my first try!
Edit: a drinks section could fit nicely in a dessert cookbook too.

I bet you'd have great success with a quasi cookbook filled with amusing stories of failures, kid interruptions, drunk cooking, and beautiful photos...life in the kitchen stuff, perhaps with sketches and illustrations etc. You're welcome.
Excited for the pav btw. One of many things Aussie's/Nz disagree about origin. It's named after a Russian ballerina Anna..pavlova.
Kiwi fruit and passion fruit pulp is my fav toppings.

I would love a cookbook with a focus on baking but a little bit of everything sprinkled in. I think hosting tips is an especially great idea. My question for the next Q&A would have to be what would constitute a perfect day for you? Also do you enjoy singing, and would you sing something now on camera?

If we're voting, I like the idea of a focused cake cookbook. But that's where I'm at in my culinary journey. I like your macaron video immensely. I haven't tried it yet, but I've had three less than stellar macaron experiences and I think your video will do the trick. Also, I purchased those macaron molds you used. That was a new one for me. I think those will help, too. I had been relying on just parchment with traced circles--old school!

I just want to say I love love your videos! I am a self taught baker and decorator too :) i used to burn everything lol but i overcame my baking fear to make my daughter the cake she wanted (panda cake) amd have been ever since. :) im upgrading my baking materials do you have any brand of baking pans you recommend? I will buy your cookbook no mater what is in it. I hope there are lots of {new} cakes and dessert recipes with a few of them being diabetic friendly. Lots of photos in it please. A tools of the trade section please. Also a substitution section (if you don’t have xx use xx) that would also include how to use substitute sugars in your recipes. Hosting tips and tablescaping would be a fantastic bonus. But no matter what is in it...it will be in my kitchen. Bake on John! 250k! 😀
Hello John, my son and I are fans of your channel - thanks for all the hard work! Quick question for you: what frosting do you make for a kid who (claims he) likes frosting, but doesn't like buttercream (any kind), cream cheese frosting, italian meringue or whipped cream? I mean, push comes to shove, he'll be getting italian lemon cake for his birthday, but any suggestions welcomed at this point! :) PS: We want the cookbook; we vote for an all encompassing ouvrage. :)

Cookbook thoughts yes! Yes..YAAAASDDD! I.m conflicted though.... But starter might be your faves. Family heirlooms , things your hubs likes.. Maybe 2nd book.dessert only. Third might be different dinners, and include some pairings.or specialty coctail... Just me.... T ruin to map out your literary career....
Cookbook suggestion: Desserts primarily, but maybe a few appetizers and entrees, but I think your desserts are so wonderful and should be the focus of the book. I have never heard of the band you like, and I can't find them online. Can you please tell me how their name is spelled? Thanks!!
