I've been getting lots of great questions on the blog, Instagram, and here so I thought it would be fun to compile them all into a video!
As a special surprise, my elusive husband Brian reads all the questions out. If I didn't get to your question ask away in the comments and I'll add it to my next Q&A video!

I hate fondant too. Especially the cakes that are like 30% fondant and dry cake inside just to keep it from falling. Cakes first and foremost are there to eat. Not to look at.

I really like your personality! Besides the beautiful and yummy cakes (I have only made your vanilla cupcakes like 10 times ☺️) I tune in to watch you. You have that something that only a few have and you are a total triple threat. Cooking, baking and entertaining! For me you are the male Ina Garten. Make it happen please! UA-cam is fun but we have to get you out to the masses.

I've only been following for a few months and this prompted me to go back at look at your earlier stuff. Wow! Beautiful stuff but you only appeared on camera yourself at the end of last year?! The channel has vastly improved since then! You're a natural in front of the camera and your recipes/techniques are brilliant.

Ive been obsessed with cake decorating and making since forever and i never knew how to make them nice and flat while still maintaining the sweetness and softness. Im so glad you shared the video about the cake strips! Your so amazing and i love your videos! My dream is to become a professional pastry chef but noone around me bakes so i dont have anyone to help mentor me. Your videos truly help and inspire me.

Thank you for sharing all your tips. I love baking and all of the videos I've seen have helped me so much. I always make my kids birthday cakes because its cheaper and i get to make it the way my family likes.

I am also a self taught baker. I love making "flower" cakes, and buttercream icing transfers. I have been baking and decorating for about 12 years now. AND after being with my partner for 18 years now we have decided it is time to get married. So I am getting to bake, design, and decorate my wedding cake. You could use Wilton “clear” vanilla if you want your frosting to be really white. Wilton also sells another whitening product called “White icing Color” it’s liquid in a 4” squirt bottle. This can be added to cakes or frosting to make it more pure white. Both are sold at Michaels in the cake decorating isle or amazon. (It’s cheaper at Michaels as you can you use the 40% off coupon). Love your videos.

I have a great recipe for a chocolate cake and it takes NO eggs OR milk and its amazing!
I'll bet you were a great teacher! You taught two of my favorite subjects (I also liked art and social science), too! And the subjects that my dad taught in college (although he taught chemistry, so one branch of science).

He's definitely happy, but the always smiling seems to be lip incompetence and mentalis strain. Oral maxillary therapy can help relieve this.
