Day 5 of 30: Standing Workout - Balance Series (Pilates for Strength & Mobility)

  • Join me for my newest 30-Day Pilates mat series called Balance! This series will kick off on January 1st, and will be all about finding a balance between strength AND mobility. We continually strive for this idea of balance in pilates since a strong, mobile body is key to long-term health. We'll work on this idea of balance throughout each class and throughout the entire series.
    In this standing pilates workout, we'll work on strength and balance for the lower body. We'll focus on strengthening our glutes and leg muscles to find overall stability, control and strength in the standing balance exercises. With added mobility and flexibility movements, the lower body will be both strong and supple.

    Thank you! I love a standing workout! This series is great. I am horrible at setting any kind of fitness goals and keeping to them, but this is easy to fit into my day and a manageable amount of challenge. Brilliant! X

    I’m a bit behind due to being a homeschool mom of four… and we’re moving… but, this has helped me immensely! I suffer from nausea without physical therapy and this has brought me great relief!

    A beautifully balanced routine, just perfect for my needs. I use my aikido jo (staff) for balance when necessary, which makes the mouvement more graceful, it seems to me. So grateful for your routines, Cailin 🤗

    I see why balance is important as we age. You get so busy with life and just doing burpees....you forget if can stand on one leg! LOL!

      haha! Practicing balance is definitely important to continue, whether you do burpees or not ;)
