Great work guys, I fished Stickmarsh yesterday. Drove by Headwaters and at 7:30 very few parking spots left. It amazes me when you do these videos there's hardly a boat where you shoot.
Hey Terry, we usually hit it around 1pm and also looking for good areas with little pressure. It is easy to become a creature of habit, same spots, same baits, hopefully same redults. We look for the low pressure or more off the beaten path spots. Still need to get together just have to work the timing out. Talk soon.
Thanks guys,. As always, a really cool video of a phenomenal lake. I've been Bass fishing for over 50 years now and this lake has me so excited that Im thinking of buying a house very close to it. I love to just go out and search these kinds of lakes . Im like a high school kid the night before a tournament. Can't wait for the alarm to go off.. 😅😅
You got Tom, we are glad you enjoy our videos and appreciate you watching and commenting. This is the lake with a thousand good spots...it's always an adventure. Give us a shout if you see us on the lake. Fish well!!!
Hey Roger, really appreciate the comment. We should have a few more done before you get here. Be sure to let us know how your trip goes and if you have any questions about the area let us know as well. Thanks again.
Hey Kyle, You are going to have a great time. Just Lettered the boat today with the Hooked On Headwaters so if you see us be sure to come on over and and chat for a bit. Good Fishing!
Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Once you hit the lake you will be hooked. I have fished lakes all around and this one is in a class of it's own. Without question it is wort the trip. Good fishing and let us know when you are heading down.
Hey salty, sure thing. Appreciate the comment. There is a whole lot of pretty much unfished lake out there too keep us busy with more vuds. Thanks again for watching.
Sorry think I misunderstood your comment. Yes it is busy in the morning. Hitting it around 1-3 gives you plenty of time to get in a good trip. You are also fishing into the feeding time instead of away from the feeding time.
Hey TC, thanks for the comment. It is a tracker 15. Just upgraded to a 25 hp Suzuki today. I have owned a couple bass boats but personally I like a good jon boat. More versatile and I can get into areas other guys can't or won't go.
@@flappinshad6973 5 ft wide. rigged out now with the 25 hp. an ipilot powerdrive 55lb thrust a micro pole and a Lowrance hook2. Pretty happy with the setup but will be upgrading to a grizzly semi v at some point.
Is it dangerous for lower units like Stick Marsh? I’m coming down in March with my wife who likes to fish now that she’s a grandma but safety is big for us. We have an old triton bass boat but love it. Thanks
Hey George, No, this lake does not have much for stumps and snags to run into. There are the occasional palmetto stump but they are not in areas you would be running at 25 mhp ( the lake speed limit) There are a areas that get pretty shallow with quite a few stick ups but again these would be mostly areas you would be trolling through and fishing. You are good to go.
Hey guys I love the way you break this incredible lake down! I am coming down from New York in about 2 weeks and your channel has me pumped to fish there! My question is I will be coming down from Leesburg and what is the best way to get to ramp? Keep up the great vids! Thanks for your knowledge 👍
Hey Jim, You will have one heck of a fun time a t the lake. From Leesburg your best bet is to get to 1-95 by whichever way you like. From there go south to the St. Johns Heritage Parkway exit. It will be the first exit south of the Malabar road exit. You will exit to the west. It is a short run to 507 Babcock st. From there turn left (South) and run down a few miles and you will cross over the C54 canal. Just as you cross over take the road to the right west, down 3 miles to the Headwaters boat ramp. It is really easy to get to. Have fun and let us know how you do.
Hey David, Yes there is signal. ATT and Verizon I think get the best reception. I am on Metro and I am good on the lake but for some reason the parking lot is hit and miss.
Hey JM , I was thinking about that as I was editing this one. We have the cameras to do it so I think we will go that way on the next one. Thanks for the suggestion.
Love it!! Y’all keep it up! 💪🏻
Thank you!! We appreciate you watching.
Awesome thanks 😊
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it.

Nice Catch! Great info! Keep up the good recon much appreciated! 👍
Hey Gerry Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Good Fishing!
Do you have cell service on the lake ?
Hey David, Yes there is signal. ATT and Verizon I think get the best reception. I am on Metro and I am good on the lake but for some reason the parking lot is hit and miss.
When u are doing recon, and showing depths can u split screen and show where u are at on map?

Great vid. How far is it from the ramp ? I'm guessing about 5 miles?
IT is about 3.5 miles so pretty quick to get to. Thanks for the question and Good Fishing.
@@BeyondHeadwaters Not so pretty quick for me on a kayak.
@@skoli55 correct by kayak if is a bit of a run. We will be hitting some areas closer to the kayak launch for the yakers.
