Great job as always. Wow, I made it down to the square pond last time I was down and thought I had fished some really fishy looking places but now I see I must venture further. There is no where that doesn’t look like you can’t catch fish there and then you show these other places. Thank you Barry and Dave for continuing to provide informative videos but also great guides for newcomers to try and remain safe on the water.
Thank you very much for the comment. You are correct , everywhere you look ,looks like there should be a big fish sitting on the spot.. The south end of Egan is usually really clear water so it is like fishing a completely different lake all together. Let us know how you do when you get down here to fish .
the stick ups are my best spot was there Sunday did very well and no one was around. west wall was very good as well. I always go to the south side. and yes watch the right turn I went straight one time and almost slept out there...... very low now will be back soon. its a two hour one way but way better then lake O which I live 45 min away from.
Great video guys, I wish I had seen this when we first got to the lake. I have been down as far as where you ended this video but it took at lot of time to work my way down. The new Navioics chip for Lowrance has a really good map when you click on sonar charts on the unit. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the marked up map in the UR. Is there anyway possible to put the compass direction in the Upper Left corner that the bow is pointing? A compass insert, or a simulataneous GPS indicator? This helps because I never got down to Egan.
Good deal Don. The south end of the lake does not get near the pressure that the north end does meaning mostly from the main easy west canal to square lake. I would say that is the most fished part of the lake.

Nice Video. I only get to visit Headwaters once a year and I just finished up my 2nd year fishing this lake. Your videos are very helpful! Keep it up.

Those areas of Egan is where we fish when come down. Found a few others spots on the way to Egan as well. Nice video👍👍

Its still a 6 mile dirt, washboard, bolt loosening, trailer wrecker road. Thanks for watching
