Thank you for all the support guys, especially those who hit the like button and/or commented or even shared the video, I really appreciate it. I will try and get through the comments and reply to as many as i can, when i can, as always. And a BIG thank you to those who joined to support Slippy Slides on Patreon it means a lot and really does help the channel. Much love to you all!
How is it you are able to manipulate the camera angles in the game to see these additional cool secrets. Is it some sort of third party program that anyone can use? Or do you have to be savvy in CS to do this?
Perhaps because of my utter ignorance of how video games are actually constructed, I find your work especially edifying and it always fills me with awe. No one else does this. I don’t even know how you do it :)
Wow, that is really cool how you are able to rotate the camera view and see all of the interesting things that the creators of this game embedded behind the scenes. We could now see where no player has ever seen before.
Editing is absolutely brutal lol. It's so time consuming and dull. So i appreciate others who edit. Thanks for the video! I'm a massive fan of classic RE, this was a great perspective for me!
That is insane how they made the resident evil remake, as a kid I never realised they were all flat backgrounds, mind blown as an adult and I realised that’s what they did
i love these videos! i had no idea video games were so layered and strange behind the scenes. i'm in awe of what you're able to do. thank you for working so hard
STER Gaming maybe the camera could go behind all the screwed up looking gates and fences in the "true" Silent Hill. Like, behind the bloody rusty fences, around the hotel, underneath the metal floors, around the boss areas, etc
Omg my mind was really blown and distorted when you moved around and that the map is just a jpeg itself and modeled objects are interactive objects, really interesting and how little details can trick our brains
Is it possible for you to do a hidden camera and secrets on Resident Evil Outbreak and Outbreak File 2? I would like to see the secrets on the outbreaks.
@6:04 It does have the Title of the piece on it. It's just back to front, so the title is on the right, mirrored instead of the left as seen on the mage file you found.
Hey man! I really love your channel. Compared to the other “camera exploring in games” channels you do a far better and certainly more interesting job. Keep up the great work!
I've been catching up on alot of 'slipping out' videos because I've always been fascinated with games like this where you take your time to check the details 👌🏻
Hey man just take your time with these videos! I know that some pressure will present itself from some viewers, but in the end I will enjoy it and all of your entertaining commentary. Much respect
Man, i really appreciate comments like this, it means a lot. I started out UA-cam for a laugh and a hobby but sometimes it can feel pretty daunting trying to keep up with the demands of creating content. I dread to think what its like for bigger channels. Thanks again man!
Finally someone who explains hes not enough of a parasite to liveo ff youtube or patreon and doesnt ask for donations to start the video off ... amazing props
Hey Slippy I really like theses videos, only just come across them but they're really interesting! Thanks for making time to do them, very entertaining.
I had no idea this remake still used pre-rendered backgrounds XD thats really clever they simply added the 3D moving elements over the still images, those crafty devils at capcom X3
As it seems understandably necessary to say, i think that everyone here is very thankful for all the obvious work that you put in your amazing content, creating such interesting work, that really relieves lots of curiosities to all of us; as the entire comment sectuon expresses here, you factually are a channel that is less popular than it deserves to be; but overtime im sure people will find you, a hidden gem, in this huge sea of content creators. A suggestion that i can give you is to try and find hidden camera secrets on newer games, like you did with outlast 2; hope the best for your future, thanks for each single video you have made until now, and hope the best for you until the next one! ✌
Thank you so much for the comment, it means a great deal to receive comments like this, and certainly inspires me to keep going. I will take what you said into consideration and see what i can do about some newer games in future!
I know this is old but I saw an article yesterday about someone totally building the original resident evil In unreal 4 which would be sick! Because it's 1st person view! I suggest ppl look it up and support this otherwise it will never happen! I'm not sure how it would get distributed considering it's an owned ip but still could be worth it!
11:40 Wow!!!! Thats crazy. Yes, kind of figured it was Wesker, then again, wasn't sure if Wesker sent Barry to kill Enrico, but still, thats amazing that you were able to manipulate the camera in order to show us for a fact who did it. This is probably my favorite part of the video as I'm a huge Wesker fan
This is awesome!!!! I new about this trick and in the original RE1 it was noticeable. Here same trick but with details dialed to 11. It really shows how fair Tech has come to make the 3d models almost match the quality of the prendered background image. All the old tricks still work, but not as effective. Another great video keep it up.
Have you done one on the first Resident Evil? The old textures render the zombies absolutely HORRIFYING and UNCANNY when they manage to get close to the camera.
I thought you atleast have an editor helping you. That's a time consuming hobby to have, but know that I appreciate your videos alot, aswell as alot of others!
The static backgrounds where really well done in my opinion. Something you can not say about all the games that have used it. That said. First time watching a vid of yours. Its nice to see some of the hidden stuff they had. Thanks for showing us this stuff and deff going to sub to you and watch your other stuff XD. I am a big fan of the old Resident Evil and Silent Hill games so it was nice to see this. ( Also a big fan of the Final Fantasy games but that is not exactly horror :P Only reason why I mentioned FF is due to they have used per-rendered backgrounds in some of their games as well. )
Haha this reminded me of the other day when I was playing a Resident Evil mod for Skyrim which includes a complete reconstruction of the Spencer Mansion including all it's puzzles etc it's awesome and I was really enjoying it until... and an amazing glitch happened where I could suddenly fly through walls and see every thing! Luckily my game was saved so I just reset every thing and reloaded a previous save but not before spending a good half hour looking through all the rooms and seeing where they are in relation to each other and discovering all the secrets, etc (lol and it wasn't cheating cause I already knew where all the secrets were as I've a massive RE fan and played it a million times before lol) but it was great fun! That was just a freak glitch (love those freak glitches that occasionally happen in Skyrim lol!) I don't know how you manage to do this but it must be great fun to sort of break done the game and discover it's secrets and see what it's like beneath the surface and it's shiny exterior lol. Pretty interesting stuff so left a 'like' and subscribed. Keep up the great work! :-)
Thank you!!! Sounds like you had a lot of fun exploring with that mod. I still love to glitch outside of maps and explore too. Thanks for the sub and hope you enjoy other videos!
Mate i well apreciate what you do, your videos are great truly, i feel your pain i dont even edit my.videos i just make them for my.own benefit atm it seems. Keep up the good work your an inspiriation
Okay so this might be an odd request but....wwf no mercy for the n64. I always wondered what was out of view on the 3D menu and what was going on out of view during the cut scenes in season mode. Just a though. Nice vid man
Thanks for your work, those were some funny insights! If RE2Make gets 3D backgrounds instead of pre-rendered ones, I'm already looking forward to your video about it :-)
omfg i cant remember much from this game , just from watching this it still feels creepy and huge ,the new resident evil remakes are fine but feels like this is better , agreed that it maby doesnt look as good as the new ones but remember when it was made , games now feel shorter even if they are better looking but resident evil will always be my "first best horror game"
Nice video.. i've always liked to mess around with games and find areas where i can break out of the stages and such. My PC broke down a couple of months ago and i have zero intentions of ever buying another one. But this reminded me the fun i had violating the laws established in a videogame. Ever tried PC version of Jedi knight 2 ?? Had the most fun with this one.. spawning AT-STs at will.
Would be cool if you could do an episode in the original Resident Evil 1, but I guess it'd be quite hard to implement a free camera in the Ps1 emulator.
Thanks for the great work. You are kind of like Indiana Jones. :) This is gaming archeology you are doing here. It`s very interesting to see what is coverd under digital dust, e.g. the note which has more text written on it as you mentioned.
Wow I can't wait to see more on RE!!! And please can we get crash 3 warped?I've been looking for a secret I believe exists in there.I laughed so hard when their death scenes were shown😂😂
There's something I've been curious about for a while. I don't know if it's possible to do this in the original Resident Evil... I forget if the same thing happens in the remake exactly... When Jill gets bitten by the giant snake and calls out for help, is it actually Barry who turns up and moves her to the room with the serum, or was it Wesker? I remember thinking the gloves and clothing on the character model that showed up seemed quite dark for Barry.
Wow how come I never came across this vid? Actually moving the camera in RE classic is something I used to dream of doing ever since...f*ck 1998 I think
Thank you for all the support guys, especially those who hit the like button and/or commented or even shared the video, I really appreciate it. Thank you for this man. The Resident Evil remake is one of my favorite games of all time. You earned yourself a new subscriber :)
Slippy Slides Nice vid 👍
How is it you are able to manipulate the camera angles in the game to see these additional cool secrets. Is it some sort of third party program that anyone can use? Or do you have to be savvy in CS to do this?
Slippy Slides great video. I am playing rise of the tomb raider on xbox one. Its quite a nice looking game.
You did a very good job ! Could you make another where we get a much clearer shot of Lisa’s face behind her mask ?
As soon as you died , an ad popped up and said "If youve been injured in an accident ,then call my firm" xD
Haha, Typical, they get everywhere those firms.
Slippy Slides they do! But in my state a law firm actually has a rap song that almost everyone in the city knows
Must be on speed dial for STARS members
Perhaps because of my utter ignorance of how video games are actually constructed, I find your work especially edifying and it always fills me with awe. No one else does this. I don’t even know how you do it :)
Mark Frost hax
If you don't know it already, also check out "Boundary Break" ;)
Wow, that is really cool how you are able to rotate the camera view and see all of the interesting things that the creators of this game embedded behind the scenes. We could now see where no player has ever seen before.
10:29 That was too hilarious!
The amount of detail that went into this masterpiece is insane!
I'm not a game programmer or designer but I love watching this kind of behind the scene video and learn how it's done.
Thanks for your hard work!
No problem :)
6:16 looks like one of Leon's RE4 death animations.
@@user-j5g2w no they're slightly different, mainly due to how the gun seems to be positioned, otherwise they look very similar
Editing is absolutely brutal lol. It's so time consuming and dull. So i appreciate others who edit. Thanks for the video! I'm a massive fan of classic RE, this was a great perspective for me!
13:43 Jill : "chris! simp!"

Thank you very much Blue Moon, it means a lot to read comments like this!
Silent Hill please
YES PLS!!!!
Ps1
silent hill is also a badass game but i like resident evil best though especially this one remastered.
I'm curious how it would be with SH since the camera angle actually moves with the character like in the street sections. Static or dynamic back drop?
STER Gaming maybe the camera could go behind all the screwed up looking gates and fences in the "true" Silent Hill. Like, behind the bloody rusty fences, around the hotel, underneath the metal floors, around the boss areas, etc
Omg my mind was really blown and distorted when you moved around and that the map is just a jpeg itself and modeled objects are interactive objects, really interesting and how little details can trick our brains
I like how you slipped your sign in around 10:45 or so.
Is it possible for you to do a hidden camera and secrets on Resident Evil Outbreak and Outbreak File 2? I would like to see the secrets on the outbreaks.
Loved these games.. PS2 was a great console.
I loved Outbreak when I was younger
Take my upvote... 11 months late DOH!!!!!
@@EQOAnostalgia 3 years late, do some Outbreak dammit!
@6:04 It does have the Title of the piece on it. It's just back to front, so the title is on the right, mirrored instead of the left as seen on the mage file you found.

At least I'm safe inside my mind lol your username from spongebob
The best Resident evil in my opinion is the first one. And RE1MAKE is AMAZING and by far my favorite.
Also the note at around 3:50 simply deals with infection and burning the bodies so they don't reanimate. It was a feature in the game like you stated.
Finally someone who explains hes not enough of a parasite to liveo ff youtube or patreon and doesnt ask for donations to start the video off ... amazing props
The fact those shadows were not just shadows but actually zombies this whole time blew my mind a little.
Hey Slippy I really like theses videos, only just come across them but they're really interesting! Thanks for making time to do them, very entertaining.
I love this game. Thanks for the video.
Very time consuming to complete the game but so worth playing the game.
I wonder if you could do the same for Haunting Ground..
YES PLEASE

I really did love the gore on the zombie.
Also, 10:44, I see the slippy slides logo.
I know this is a remake but they need to remake this again like they did RE2 and RE3

Nice video. Resident Evil is definitely one of my favorite series of games ever made!
Mine too dude!
Just became a Patreon, really enjoy the stuff you do! £60 for a month is nothing for the amount of work you put in mate!

Resident evil 5 please!!
yesss
it's not that simple
This is interesting. Is there a way for me to do that? I would love to mess around with the free camera.
Macabre Hallway. What a track! Great vid btw.
Congrats on 30k bro keep it up.

Slippy Slides I remember 2 Christmas ago all u wanted was 10k bro. That’s crazy now look your at 30k

As you are very busy, maybe in a few years you cold do F.E.A.R. (2006)
Love your work good sir.
hey man, you're doing a good job
This is brilliant. Thanks for sharing!

Aw, was hoping you'd show Lisa waiting to hit you just out of view while you're in her cabin
I always thought the first zombie in the original head was made of stone lol
Maybe that collecting the hidden music score was going to be a apart of getting past the moonlight sonata bit but was cut and the asset was left in.
I really love this videos! This was one of my favorite games
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Haha, 10:42 nice.
Oddly enough, Jill actually can play that song on the piano in Spencer’s mansion in RE 5s DLC.
Moonlight Sonata that is

As always, great work brotha 🖒🖒
good to have confirmation after all these years that - it was Wesker who shot Enrico 11:46
Would love to see classic Tomb Raider including Angel of Darkness
The slippy slides sign at 10:40 :D Is this the original image with the controllers and everything or you did you add this "easter egg" ?
I added it : )
Great video man, when i saw your vid pop up I was excited with glee!
Thanks Charles, Hope it lived up to expectation!
