hi i did everthing like you did but its say a file is not proper bios when i press read a fiel
when i go into bios and go to update, i check every single drive i have but nothing shows up. The only thing in my flash drive right now is the update file but the bios wont detect it

Be careful when you download the bios update version, i just downloaded the B450 while my motherboard is B450M, you should get the exact same file name as your motherboard..

My bios hasnt been updated since 2021 and i just got a 5800x3d so i dont know if i should update to the ryzen 5000 series support which is f61 or the current which is f66b and i am also wondering if the latest bios update will come with all the other updates before it like f61, f62 etc.
go with the latest version, the BIOS update should be cumulative.

i'm kinda scared of doing a bios update as it comes with some risks (as what i've read), cause i am planning to buy this product along with ryzen 5 3500x and i don't know if bios update is needed for it, how do i know if bios update is needed? (will be my first time building)
well it should work out of the box with that CPU, if in the small chance it doesn't then just do like in the video and update the BIOS, its not that hard :)

I think you gotta update the bios with CPU that is supported first and than install the new CPU.

It's the same step bro showed you it's easiest as hell just before downloading the bios make sure the pen drive is less then 32g and before downloading bios on the drive format it on the default f 32 something like that you can look it up the download the bios on the pen drive and go along the steps bro showed you❤ it's easy
