your wheel plate loosened because you dont have it mounted correctly. there should be one bolt going through the first slot in the wheel plate closest to you which u have non in at all, and then skip a hole and then another after that skipped hole. you also have the entire plate backwards. the smaller end should be facing away from you. i have mine mounted properly and its rock solid

Just a quick two cents coming from a former welder, if you can get hold of whats needed to do the process. Try welding the the main structure points of the frame together as opposed to having it supported by nuts and bolts, just make sure to angle grind or sand away the coating on the parts your going to weld and where the clamp is going to be placed. That should make it proper solid. ( you should totally do it and post a video so I know if I can do it before I spend any money ahaa ).
Ok now I have to rethink my plans. I was about to hit the purchase button in Amazon for the NLR GT Lite Pro. This is only 100 bucks more and looks a lot sturdier than the GT Lite Pro. I didn't think I could get a name brand rig with a seat for 400 bucks. Guess I was wrong. I'd like to put the Fanatec 5 NM base on this. I'm pretty sure it would work out good. Now if I can figure out how to put some casters on it.
Imo its a better choice to get this one instead as for $100 more you won’t have to change it for a long time. It will probably have good resale value too
Just purchased the Moza R5 and I think this will work out fine. Not looking for anything to break the bank and remain functional. I’m not that hard core with my racing but something for people to play around with in my man cave. Good review.
Hmm the GT-Lite Pro might be better as you will upgrade to a better cockpit sooner or later. You can save some cash now and then put that money towards a DD-ready cockpit.
NLR is amazing i got the WS 2.0 and live it amazing stand probably without question the BEST stand on the market and if you want you can turn it into a F GT for a few hundred more layer on down the road i love it
for 50 $ more you could get a gt omega lite with seat, which has no flex and is aluminum profile so has ultimate complatibility, and for possibly less than 400 you could build your own 8020 rig with seat. still a good option and nice review
Can u suggest a FGT cockpit that is - 1. VFM, budget friendly ~ $600-700 2. Sturdy enough for CSL DD 3. Easy to change from GT to formula & back 4. Suitable for games like ets2 to F1. Any suggestions for a slider seat? I’ve seen TR80 mk5, FGT elite/ lite/ 160. But don’t know the differences between them. I’m 5’11”& 70k
The only advantage of the F-GT is that it has the formula position but it’s $100 more and has a less comfy seat so I would say the gtracer is a far better deal

I personally have no desire to use the formula position so that feature of the F-GT doesn’t appeal to me couple that with a less comfy seat and I’d much rather save a $100 and get the rig that’s more practical to me. Sturdiness is also not a big factor for me as I currently have the GT Lite folding cockpit and this is certainly a step up from that. When the GT Lite Pro came out I was considering upgrading to it but I wasn’t sure if it was enough of an improvement to justify spending $300. But this here seems very much like a worthy upgrade. It also looks like it would work perfectly with Thrustmasters new truck driver wheel holder should I decide to go that route

The F-GT is fine in my man cave had it for 2yrs now and it's comfortable as can be, Idk what your talking about with "a less comfy seat" it's fine and perfect for me...but I'm not 1 cheeseburger from a 6ft grave either so it's no problem for me and never has been. If you like playseat than that junk is for you I guess.
Dont know why you would say the pedal plate is incredibly rigid when there is clear flex. Dave Cam didn't even have much kg of force set and there was heaps of flex.

No. The flex will bother you over time and it’s not customizable enough. You’ll need to purchase aluminum extrusion monitor stands that go to the floor instead of mounting them to the rig.

While I do understand that since next level has other levels of cockpits, I still think that including a couple of plastic clamps or something plastic to improve the rigidity still might keep the price at 400 - regardless, I think that most of the time their products seem like some thoughts have been put into it, also this cockpit seems like a reasonable midway or uh a middle solution if you are aiming for something above Next Level GT - Lite PRO or any other foldable cockpit - if you have the space for it.
Both cockpits are great for entry-mid style sim racing, but if you prefer a foldable cockpit the GTLite Pro is your best pick, whereas the GTRacer is perfect for those who prefer a non foldable cockpit.

How does this compare with the GT lite Pro for someone is 210 lbs? I’m worried my weight will have to much movement. Other options to consider for a first set up? ( I’m using CSL DD w/o boost)
The GTLite Pro supports a max weight of 330lbs and the GTRacer supports a max weight of 286lbs, so both are great options! Both rigs will support the CSL DD.
Hey! Thanks for the feedback. We've found in the past that using anything like knobs or wing nuts that can be hand tightened for adjustments are not good enough for accuracy. If an adjustment is hand tightened then there will always be the potential for slack especially if there is vibration throughout the rig. So in response, we only make those quick adjustment features where we are confident they will not compromise the rigidity of the rig.
I have an 8nm dd from fanatec and their lc breaks. the dd base is bolted to my 300lb solid wood desk and is extremely ridged. but my issue is that my seat is pushed back and the recline lock is broken. So I end up having to use a bunch of cardboard boxes to keep my seat in place when breaking. can you do a review or make a video of a budget solution with dealing with a lc break without having to resort to an expensive cockpit?

To be completely honest though The ASR1 is similar price - a bit more because you need a seat but it seems WAY stronger & more adjustable than this. -an asr1 user
Think $400 is weird price point at that point mind as well add a bit more and get a real rig or something like playseat trophy when they go on sales looks like better option.
Thanks for the feedback. The price point comes with some extras that are not included with some other cockpits on the market. GTRacer includes a reclining GT Style seat with seat slider, Shifter and Handrake support, and a Buttkicker Mount.

Entry level cockpits are a waste of money. The moment you decide to buy a purpose built cockpit you’re in it and will inevitably buy an aluminum extrusion cockpit.
The fact this includes the seat in the 400 dollar price tag makes this one of the best sim rigs for the money.

Load cell pedals will taco that seat in no time - if the frame doesn't give out first. You can see the rig flexing in just about every shot.

If this comes to Mexico... its an instabuy for me. A lot of good built cockpits arent sold here and the ones available are 2x the MSRP

Great rid for the price but sad to see that NLR still have a hard on for Allen key bolts for minor adjustments.

The ASR1 is similar price - a bit more because you need a seat
but it seems WAY stronger & more adjustable than this.

Think $400 is weird price point at that point mind as well add a bit more and get a real rig or something like playseat trophy when they go on sales looks like better option.
Thanks for the feedback. The price point comes with some extras that are not included with some other cockpits on the market. GTRacer includes a reclining GT Style seat with seat slider, Shifter and Handrake support, and a Buttkicker Mount.
@@NextLevelRacing just think GTELITE LITE with a car seat from junk yard best solution:) I personally use f-gt elite but when i bought it was the only option not sure i need all the features but nice to have. Tip: you guys should sell castor wheels for profile rigs had to get myn elsewhere ( not plastic ones).

The OPLITE GT3 SUPERFAST cockpit offers more for less money so this is not the best option for the money imo.

Entry level cockpits are a waste of money. The moment you decide to buy a purpose built cockpit you’re in it and will inevitably buy an aluminum extrusion cockpit.
