CrafsMan, I love to see that your UA-cam channel/Patreon has opened up the opportunity for you to do what you love, stop-motion and animation, on a daily basis! Love following your journey.
Right?! I remember one of his first videos I saw of him like 3/4 years ago was him making figures, casting and molding them to make multiples and I just saw his channel pop up after so long and he’s animating now?!
Listening to the patience and calmness in your voice makes today’s problems seem not so bad. I really only meant to watch an animation tutorial, but I got even more. Thank you.
Crafsman, yours are the only videos that I listen to with headphones. It doesn't even matter what the subject matter is, the quality of your voice and sound makes it a rich and rewarding experience! Thank You!
Delightful and relatable outtakes at the end! LOVE that you're equipped with that Winder, this work has been looking so excellent! You've grown so instantly into this role, It's like you've been animating for decades. Can't wait to see more!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that needs multiple takes to get simple lines right! Difference is that Crafsman ends up with something great when he gets through it
Loved the mini-animations you sprinkled throughout the video. Production value is top-notch. It’s been fun to watch your channel evolve over the years. Great work, sir.
But you HAVE to wait, because this is the way time works. Unless you've invented a time machine...Have you invented a time machine? And you are holding it back from the rest of us? rude Seriously, though, can I borrow it? No, not for anything nefarious, why would you think that? Third time a fancy, aquarium fish has accused me of nefarious activity...
One of the things I like about your channel is the variety of topics you cover. It's clear that, like me, you have a lot of interests that you like exploring.
@@thatssoweirdhonest at around 7:08 TheCrafsMan is drawing graduations on a rule so that he can direct a pointer on the rig to control the speed and acceleration. Typically, 'easing' the movement might involve gradually expanding the space between the marks and then bunching them up again to reverse the effect. Instead of creating the marks from scratch for each movement, marks on an elastic band can be stretched between different points to suit a particular move. (You will still need to create different scales to match the overall number of frames but this should cut out a lot of repetition.)
Crafsman, I just want you to know, I am constantly impressed by your creativity and problem solving. I really appreciate you, and your projects. Thank you for being you, Crafsman.
Just found this channel. I like the ways of making figures and animation, but that way of speaking makes me in awe. English is not even my language, I’m Danish lives in Norway. I love your videos crafsman, your videos makes me relaxxx.
I am thoroughly enjoying watching you get more and more into animating, it's so fascinating to hear about and I think that someone who's still actively passionate and curious and learning more every day about something makes the best teacher. It also makes me so happy when I see people helping you out too because you totally deserve it! It's always appreciated that when a piece of kit is likely to be out of people's budget that you give suggestions on how to come up with DIY solutions.
Just showed up in my recommended column today - watched 4 in a row. I can't stop wondering: is that a voice he created for the puppet character, or do you think it's his real speaking voice?
CrafsMan is teaching practical skills and encouraging Imagination as well as sharing other content creators. I'm calling it, he's on par with Mr. Rogers Wholsome Heroes squad.
I LOVE the style of movement you are achieving! You've able to translate some very distinctive movement styles from 2d animation to stop motion, and it's fantastic!
stop motion is really an amazing form of animation! its a lot of work, but the distinct look of stop motion is just so mesmerizing i think its 200% worth the effort
In my brother's college animation class, the teacher taught them to use those sets of adjustable helping hands to animate at home because they're cheaper than winders. (Like, the ones you use for soldering projects) Just gotta get you one that makes very positive clicky movements.
I could listen to you talk for DAYS. You sound just like a guy I went to high school with named Calvin Hughes. I went to high school in SW Arkansas. Calvin was a very talented football player, a fan of Michael Jackson's early solo albums & he was very soft-spoken 😏
Crafsman, I do not make stop motion or own a Winder, but I know a product I think would come in handy for that. A "Fat Wrench Torque Screw Driver". It is a screw driver that lets you set the torque in inch pounds like a torque wrench. It is actually used for gun smithing usually but, You could set it so you always use the same tightness on the screws if you want
Thank you so much Mr.crafts man each video you make bring me some much joy . You are such a inspiration. I hope I can do all the things you can do one day
I am probably subscribed to more than 300 channels and yours is up there. I love this channel so much man. The editing, the production quality, your unique voice, the puns and most importantly the art Keep on crafting steadily crafsman
Just found your channel the other day. Saw the photo light box video and tried it. It worked PERFECT. Thank you! You have earned a new subscriber and a loyal viewer! Thank you again!!! P.S. Sadly the supplies I purchased for the light box were not obtained at a Freds Dollar Store.... Dey be gone.
Your the most creative inspiring person on this platform hope your journey on UA-cam is awsome and that you keep making videos I love them thanks for making my days good 😊
Crafman, that's a pretty neat little device. Glad you finally got you one. I know you'll make the most of it. Loving what you are doing. Very cool. Keep steady craftin buddy
Best review of a rigging device, I’ve come across. I really need to get one of these. Lack of a great rigging device is frustrating to me. I’m definitely SUBSCRIBING!
Love your channel, your accent is remindin' me of my father's accent. He was born straight from Louisiana. Subscribed from one of Kayakasaurus's video.
I would really enjoy watching a G.I. Joe Adventure Team figure animated with your process of dancing and doing something cool that only the Craftsman can do..!!
0:30 Me: “It’s a Discombogulator 5000!” All jokes aside, I just got into animation industry and can’t wait to get into stop motion. And I can’t wait to see what magic you’ll create with this, Crafsman 😊

You are the Bob Ross of UA-cam crafting and animation. Keep doing what you do!
Bob Ross at least had a prettier voice
@@diamonddogie That's not nice. He's trying his best, and most of us can understand him well.

The Craftsman is as iconic as Bob Ross. Much respect from one creator to another.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that needs multiple takes to get simple lines right! Difference is that Crafsman ends up with something great when he gets through it

Tip: You can draw those division scales on elastic bands and stretch them to get quick 'eased' motion of any length.
i'm not an animator, but i'm curious what you mean if you don't mind explaining a little bit

@@Martin-bx1et ahh thanks for the detailed response :)
This is the first time I've heard of that trick, and it's SLICK! Thank you so much!
Is it just me or does this guy have the most interesting combo of voice and accent of all time?
Its like his own voice has a character, i love it
Crafsman, I just want you to know, I am constantly impressed by your creativity and problem solving. I really appreciate you, and your projects. Thank you for being you, Crafsman.
Always a lovely day when you get to spend some time with the CrafsMan
My favorite craft yotuber: YOU!

I miss the weekly videos so just seeing a Crafsman notification anytime brings me joy.
Love your voice and cadence, and really dig the puppet. Can't believe I haven't seen your channel before. You keep doing you. Subscribed!

Crafsman! YOU ARE THE BEST! Can't wait to see what kinda stuff you make with this new tool!
Man… this just pushes me even harder to learn Blender. Free robot arm thingie and materials and lights and everything!
I don't know anything about animation but I feel like I want to learn all about it because of you, CM!
In my brother's college animation class, the teacher taught them to use those sets of adjustable helping hands to animate at home because they're cheaper than winders. (Like, the ones you use for soldering projects) Just gotta get you one that makes very positive clicky movements.

What a nifty little machine! This was new to me. I’m trying to calm my anxiety here. Thank you for your soothing voice again.

Superb and the best presentation I’ve seen in stop motion techniques - and funny too!
Thank you so very much!
Alright! Love the precision on it. Looks like just the right tool for this stuff.

Man, this is so cool! I love the way you animate all these figures. They just have that certain hand made feel.
Ah those are so cool! I've always made them out of spare parts or legos lol.
*do not use lego for those interested, it breaks constantly haha*
Well, Lego + cement, right? :D
Maybe Bionicle pieces would work better
Edu is a real gent, one of these days I'll acquire one his awesome rigs
This was so delightful to watch
I have one of these as well and it’s hands down the best stop motion rig out there. Can’t say enough great things about Kinetic Armatures! 👍
