I've done that 'triggering the camera with my feet' thing, too. But it was back in the mid-to-late '90s. I had a camcorder plugged into a VCR, and I had to start it recording, with my foot, stop it, with my foot, then rewind, playback, pause, and advance frame by frame until I had just 3 frames of what I'd just recorded (because the VCR backed up 1 or 2 frames when it started recording), then put it on record, but paused, get ready, and hit record on the remote with my toe, again, and go through the whole cycle over, for each frame. I didn't just have my hands in the shot, but I was sitting in a chair in the frame, and the chair was sliding around the room. That took ages.
7:15 that is actually quite a question. Because you rotated its body 180° it actually means that it's legs are moving forwards. But the body is moving backwards. Legs contains less the bones in your body. So it's quick to be fair that the minifigures walking forwards. Because you animated the minifigure to walk like that. And because you want us to give us ideas from satisfying lego animations. What i came up is a minifigure turning on a light
It depends on if you're looking from the figure's position or from your position.Your position is walking backward.S it's position it's walking forwards

The minifigure is walking backwards, because the legs is the actual part that does the walking and it's basically just walking backwards whilst looking back

Such a brilliant, outstanding video
7:15 that is actually quite a question. Because you rotated its body 180° it actually means that it's legs are moving forwards. But the body is moving backwards. Legs contains less the bones in your body. So it's quick to be fair that the minifigures walking forwards. Because you animated the minifigure to walk like that. And because you want us to give us ideas from satisfying lego animations. What i came up is a minifigure turning on a light
1:35 thanks smart!
It depends on if you're looking from the figure's position or from your position.Your position is walking backward.S it's position it's walking forwards
JumiFilm: These Are Impossible Animation! * does them*

I LOVE THE BIRD ONE SO MUCH ITS SO CUTE AND FUNNY
4:00 oh god part of the logo is the nose of an f1 car
Thanks for the brick separator tip!😂 Also awesome animations
Your animation is amazing
1:31 the most educational moment of my life
Its walking forward because of the physics what tells that the average human looks mostly forward. If they even exist
The animation in 2x looks super clean
There is a Ferrari piece on the yt logo u actually thought we wouldn’t notice lol😂
If the legs of a minifigure are flipped 180 degrees while the body remains facing forward, the figure appears to be walking backward. the orientation of the legs determines the direction of movement, and when reversed, it creates the impression of walking in the opposite direction. Despite the body facing forward, the reversed legs give the visual cue of backward motion. LEGO figures are designed to maintain a consistent appearence, so alterations to the leg positioning can influend the perceived direction of movemen, providing a playful aspect to the character's stance and creating a different storytelling possibilities.
animate lego ping pong please
The minifigure is walking backwards, because the legs is the actual part that does the walking and it's basically just walking backwards whilst looking back
