I enjoy putting these kind of videos together for people but at the same time too, I fear that I might spend too much time on one section compared to others but I really appreciate hearing that people enjoy a more detailed approach to things.
I noticed you don't have any misc mods on your PA arms. I'm not sure if they're available on Hellcat armor (I can't imagine why they wouldn't be), but equipping Optimized Bracers on both arms will dramatically reduce AP usage on automatic melee weapons. I can use my Auto Axe for several full minutes before running out of AP in my Excavator set with OBs. Aerodynamic has the same effect on non-PA arms, but to a much lesser degree, and obviously without the other benefits PA offers for auto melees.

Oh believe me I know 😅
I used to use liquid courage all the time when we first got Earle but I stopepd using it after a while as it's a 5-6 second delay in combat from when he scares you to you going back and engaging with him.
It's a good one to use for sure though!

I really like the look of the Hellcat, but I prefer to use Union PA. I still have a full set of Hellcat and may switch back and forth for situational use now that I can add the Effects that I want.
I’m running a bloodied/ power attack/ +3 str and using a hybrid heavy gun with the cremator and full ss unyielding with random second stars and weight reduction thirds and we are doing the same damage, I always forget about food buffs and just run tea coffee dogfood and pem. I appreciate the food recommendations I’m excited to try them and see what kinda chaos I can create.

With the new legendary crafting system I can craft the power armor right away, I have 73 level ups to get the perk cards I am missing, and I just need to level up legendary agility.
This is my goal to have this build complete by the end of the week and start WRECKING bosses.

Swap out dodgy for one star of each science perk to boost damage and actually have AP.
Don’t quote me but I’ve heard tons of people say the auto axe is better in 3rd person for damage and speed. I run a no power armor 50 base strength Auto axe build and I feel like this might be true. What are your thoughts?
@@lucasjames2977 so the auto axe has a weird animation when it comes to registering damage in 3rd person… it’s just a creation engine thing 😅
I’ve always felt I’ve got more out of 1st person than 3rd because of the little flaws or should I say “bugs/creation engine features” 😅

Why AA when incisor gives 75% anti armor on melees?
came back to this vid to leave a comment i run a v/40pa auto axe with food buffs and chem buffs it took me and two other random auto axe users 40 seconds to kill earl

If you were NOT a low health build what perk cards would you suggest?
To be honest, if I wasn't low health, you'd mainly remove nerd rage, life giver & radicool as they're all low health essential cards for low health melee.
You could then use the points from those cards to max out things like good with salt and depending on if you want to run power armor and decide to opt out of PA, you could stick on Evasive, maybe Ironclad, just for extra DR and you could then take out some of the legendary perks and maybe pop on something like sizzling style or whatever you're comfortable with 😊
When it comes to DPS though, the build here already covers what you need as you mainly need max rank of all of the slugger perks, max rank of incisor and you could say Bloody Mess for the bonus damage, but there will be a large drop off in DPS for going full health as the trade off for being low health with Nerd Rage, Radicool and other perks, coupled with a full set of unyielding (+3 to all stats - END) is that your strength points are going to be hitting in or around the mid 50's, even 60's.
And considering the higher your strength, the more damage you'll be dealing.. it's a better trade off in my opinion.
Everything else though can stay the same, mutations, perks, weapon mods etc.. because you'll still want to run carnivore and backwoodsman 6 for that increase to the deathclaw wellington.
You can also use the Fury chem, Psychobufff, strength bobbleheads to help boost your melee damage too!

Just a heads up, people in public lobbies don’t like it when you use auto axe. I got a lot of messages on Tuesday (when I was able to change my rolls on my axe) and people were NOT happy 😂. I just wanted to see how good it was but I switched back to holy fire. Best of luck everyone in unlocking mods

It has a chance to glitch the boss and push it into walls or floor, making it then impossible to finish the boss and get the loot.

Electric was nerfed last patch poison is way to go now good video bro
I see people mentioning that but it was never included in the patch notes. I seen a rebalance to electrified armor but not the electrified mod 🤔
And to follow on from that I haven’t seen any real difference between the last update and this update but I’d have to some further testing to really see if it has been nerfed.

you could get a better time with the syringer that debuffs them
Are you sure that still works? 🤔 from what I know it doesn’t debuff their damage resistance but their ballistic resistance so in this instance it would really be that beneficial

Poison does more damage. Also suppressor and tenderizer hasn't worked in tandem since vault 94. Also thirst quencher is affecting ap Regen bad atm
Why not use poison mod? You said you use electric because of the damage but did you like not look at the poison damage??
@@josephv8983 I just prefer the electric mod but the poison mod is definitely an awesome alternative 👍🏻 DoT change has really buffed it now
That could be even more damage with unyielding combat armor and the +strength boost
And you could wear an underarmour that boost strength
And if you are in a team there is a certain perk card that makes your mutations stronger
If you have the Thru Hiker mod on 5 PA pieces do you need the perk card also? Isn't it already maxed with the PA mods? Looking for an auto axe build for my alt account main toon, he has Excavator with all Str mods, think that will do instead of Hellcat?
So Thru Hiker is in there for tha main build because it's sort of unreasonable to expect to roll an entire set of food weight reduction effects on the armor, so I have that in there for the main portion of the build as thru hiker will reduce food weight by a good bit but then if people manage to get the food weight reduction effects, your food weight is basically zero 😊
Now if you do manage to get an entire set, then take Thru Hiker off and then swap that out for something else 😊
You can't have more than 90% reduction.
Does Earle still fall through the floor if you use auto-melee? I think if you pin him it does the glitch.

Union pa wouldn’t be a better choice?
Yes and no as it really depends on the world boss encounter.
Union PA is good for Earle and Hellcat is better for Scorched Earth, Seismic Activity and Neurological Warfare as it provides ballistic damage reduction.
I personally go with Hellcat for a more every day use but if your prefer to switch it up, you can use union as it does also provide a little bit more incoming damage reduction.

Isn't [One for the Army] legendary perk card is better to use? Since it will increase the damage greatly?
Well it kind of depends on the situation... for Earle Williams then it could possibly be a nice alternative to use, if he attacks you first, but I personally prefer the Power Armor Reboot card for when I'm going solo but you can of course swap that out for whatever you feel more comfortable with 😊
unfortunately a normal player need "travel pharmacy" at 3 stars under strenght because if you want to survive in fallout 76 you need stimpak and others buffs. So all cards slugger + incisor + blocker is impossible in my opinion.
Not really if you use the chemist backpack mod!
When you use that and coupled with the amount of strength that you have with this build, aid buffs aren't an issue.
With this build I have about 380 super stims, about 190 regular stims, a bunch of other aid items and a ton of berry mentats and other stuff.
You can get the chemist backpack mod for 350 gold bullion from the raiders at the crater!
Edit: I should explain further, just to note the chemist backpack mod works while out of power armor and not inside, however if you try and roll aid weight reduction effects which I have here that will negate this issue too!
But helpful to know if using this build in and out of power armor 👍🏻
Using rank 1 slugger cards will save 6 points and you only lose 30% additive damage since rank 1 is half as good as rank 3. Not good for a min max build like this vid but it’s not even noticeable in gameplay unless you are trying to speed run a boss and care about a few seconds. I run the same strength perks but r1 sluggers, max pharmacy, and r1 heavy gunners or r3 demo expert so I can use heavy guns or launchers for events when ppl kill everything before melee can get to it, shooting scorchbeasts midair, or just for a change of gameplay.
If not in power armor, use the chems backpack mod.
If in power armor, get chem/food weights mods. The PA version would also potentially save the stars from the food weight perk as it's both chem/food.

Wow and this doesn't even include the 25% reduced armor syringe from the syringer.

But I would really need to test the syringer because I think that doesn’t debuff their damage resistance but their ballistic damage resistance so when it comes to melee I personally don’t really see a benefit to it 👍🏻

If it were me I’d run Thorn Armor but civil engineer is definitely an awesome alternative! 👀
As I mentioned, I haven’t incorporated any power armor perks bar the power armor reboot legendary perk, so that can be swapped out for something like sizzling style or even funky duds or something but yeah those armors would be perfect 👍🏻

Using magazines, bobbleheads & not easily crafted food for a build means that a casual player will have the opportunity to experience it only for a few hours each month (if lucky). Where are we supposed to get a constant supply of rare rng items? Moreover, even if someone has said items, more times than not, after he consumes them he will realize that they got wasted because no one else is participating in his event of choice, or the server/expedition bugged, etc, etc, while the timer for these buffs was kept running.
So, nice build showcase but in theory only.
Well bobbleheads are easy to find now - you can buy 6 mystery vault tec bobbleheads from Giuseppe’s inventory in the whitesprings.

All of the food buffs can either be found off of killing Deathclaws and Yao Guai’s
Company tea can now be obtained from the company tea machine from buying it for bullion from the crater / raider faction

The Auto axe can be purchased in the Atomic Shop or from Giuseppe’s inventory in the whitesprings.
The power armor can be purchased for bullion from Regs in Vault 79 and then rolling the legendary effects simply comes down to rng , module gathering and rolling ☺️

@@P3nAlPineapple The Mystery Bobbleheads now sold in Whitesprings require Stamps which is a huge grind on their own. That’s why so many people preferred to give real-world money (atoms) to get the Auto-Axe instead of farming for Stamps. Moreover, the exact Bobblehead you’ll get from the box is rng itself too. Go figure.
So, I wouldn’t call it an “infinite supply”.
The guides you have to farm bobbleheads & magazines are great, but again, require many, many, many hours of server hoping & they are rng too.
The ingredients for the complicated food recipes require grinding too. You can gather the materials a couple of times, then visit the book house to clear the 255 looted items list and then repeat the gathering one more time until the books have respawned.
And after you have done all these you can watch the buffs timer elapsing with you waiting for someone to join an event.
Too much work for a couple minutes of fun and will eventually ruin the gameplay experience in the end. If I’d do it for a couple of weeks I surely see myself not wanting to even open FO76 again for months. Even for the dailies.
Since I want to keep enjoying actually playing the game without ruining it I prefer a more traditional way of fighting enemies. I’m a full-health build, rifleman, using regular/ordinary buffs from simple food recipes & camp items, and I have no problem with any enemy you throw at me. I watch the 1000dps bloodied players die next to me all the time (and losing their buffs due to this) when I almost never die and keep fighting (this calls for an actual dps recalculation).
Shooting 5-6 more rounds to an enemy, while strategically choosing my approach & positioning is not a big deal.
I see no reason to be that tanky guy that constantly runs & dies all over the place trying to apply his 1000dps while he is watching his armor & stimpacks get eliminated from the enemies fire.
Just a different player perspective…
@foteinimantzali8691 I imagine the idea is to not be buffed like this without good reason. I also built my buff collection/production loop into the way I play. It does mean I'm solving several problems at all times, but that's what I'm playing for eh? If I want to chill I tinker with my camp. I do die often, but I like experimenting with different combinations of buffs, gear, and enemies. I ran out of berry mentats today, and had plenty in a half an hour or so, I probably won't make more for a week or two. If you use the right collectors at camp, it can be pretty easy to have enough. Granted, I do use a cryo-freeze for the complex foods - not everyone has that.
I understand your a bloody build with that much damage. Is it possible to make a full health build for your boss killer??
of course!
To be honest, you'll mainly be swapping out Radicool in PER, Nerd Rage in INT and possibly Lifegiver in PER and removing Adrenal Reaction as one of your mutations as those are mainly low health perks and buffs and then you can replace them with anything really 😊
But I will definitely do a full health version of this soon!

I want to try and work on a build as I would like to have a pvp build but personally the only pvp I’ve ever done on this was the Nuclear Winter mode which I was pretty good at 😅
But adventure mode PvP ….. I’m kinda poopy 💩 😅

Yes. But fullhealth will deal way less dmg. You’ll be missing adrenal reaction, strength from unyielding, radicool etc. Strength is key for melee. Every point of strength results in 5% more dmg, 10% if unarmed (gauntlets, knuckles etc)

Unfortunately not 😔 it’s an atomic shop skin called the Equalizer Power Armor Paint.
It usually makes an appearance whenever there’s enclave themed bundles in the store 😊
What about twisted muscle mutation?
Yeah, definitely a great one to have on and perfect for melee, however I ran out of caps when switching around my mutations so that’s why I don’t have it on 😅

If you use Uny power armor is it not tanky enough? Why do you use Hellcat Power-armor?
To be honest, both are great sets to use because both of them come with 7% damage reduction but I prefer Hellcat for the ballistic reduction as that works for an all round suit of power to use, especially during scorched earth or even during seismic activity with the mole miners and neurological warfare 😊
What weapon should I use for tag in non boss fight
@@stevenhibbert4610 well it depends because you can just use your auto axe to slice through everything or if you wanted to, you could either bring a flamer like the the holy fire or cremator or a Tesla rifle, however that would mean sacrificing something within the build to compensate for those weapons, so I’d say just stick with the auto axe ☺️

Tesla rifle "Bertha" is a great tagger for me, because it's 2 shot, with 30 capacity. Great for tagging npc.

@@impeacefulgamer all you need is boiled water, mutfuit, which if you have a farming camp for food buffs can set up and get loads of if you have the fertiliser bomb machine thing, Yao Guai Meat which you get loads of if you stick on max rank of butchers bounty so twice the yield of meat, 4 pepper, 6 can be found in Helvetia, Five at the Flatwoods Tavern across from the church, four at Bolton greens and three at Sals Grinders and then all you need is wood which you can get an abundance of across the wasteland 😊 took me all of about 20-25 mins to gather everything and then stick on super duper so you get double the yield of whatever you’re crafting 😊
@@P3nAlPineapple thanks I have farm base and also have wood and boiled water I recently changed my mutation to carnivore because of update and I am mainly stressed about how I will get 12 YG meat even with the perk card but you have 14 and if my maths is correct that’s 168 YG meat lol I’m herbivore you need just blight and takes only 1 minute to gather around 20-30 but YG meat I am not sure but thanks for replying
@@impeacefulgamerif you farm site Alpha you’ll find one YG, Dolly sods wilderness you’ll find 2, battlefield cemetery up in the ash heap, you’ll always find one in the parking lot, mountainside bed and breakfast, you can usually find 2 underneath the bridge 😊
If you just server hop and have max rank of butchers bounty on and when crafting YGR you’ll get double the amount 😁
It will take you a bit of time to farm the YG’s but just server hop as fast as you can after you’ve gone through all of the locations where they can spawn and just rinse and repeat 😊

Anti armour? Dnt bosses not have resists anymore just more health?
All bosses have resists, they've just had their crit damage , damage reduction numbers recalculated because it was wrong so anti armor is still one of the best
Oh and what does the 40% power attack do on the chainsaw?

The auto melee weapons are always considered power attack while using them. It’s a great second star.
Why use thru hiker perk when you have 5x Thru hiker armor mods. Wouldn’t that be 100% food weight reduction?
@@TheSpirez exactly that! All of my food weight is basically nothing which allows me to carry more aid, chems and other items but I specifically popped that in there because it’s understandable that everyone might not be able to get those exact legendary effects on the armor, unless they’ve managed to learn the mod or get a box mod for it 😊
@@P3nAlPineapple I understand this is a good roll for bosses, but what about for regular enemies? Like a boss killer auto axe and daily driver auto axe? Or is this roll just good for everything?
Okay so what I'm not getting when are you using a power attack?
So without power attack, you’ll be losing a portion of dps per hit but as alternative, you can use 40% faster swing speed but the +3 strength is important 👍🏻
Every hit with the auto axe is a power attack that's why the 40% power attack is the best option
what about turbo auto axe? is this a normal modification or not?
So the turbo mod isn't really something to invest in as reduces damage on the auto axe so it's better to go for power attack damage

I personally prefer using the hellcat power armor, however you can use the union power armor if your prefer 😊
Unfortunately there's nothing really that you can use to boost strength for herbivores, a lot of what you need to boost strength and melee damage is consumed from meat based meals.

Don’t get me wrong, you’ll still do a lot of damage if you’re a herbivore but there will be a noticeable difference in DPS
How come you are not using Fury?
You can use fury or psychobuff which I was using 😊
Bloodied auto axe is bugged and Bugthesda nerfed electric mod and buffed poison and fire mods on last update

I seen they buffed poison and fire DoT and it now scales with strength but I never seen any mention of electrified getting nerfed? 🤔
I can see they adjusted the damage dealt by Electrified legendary armor but not the mod on the auto axe?

It does not add up. Following this build I have 9 points left over. That seems a huge overspend in one of your legendary card choices. Also, born survivor on a low hp build is just plain stupid. If that goes off, that is 180 stimpacks being used every hour of gameplay. That is a huge waste and if the build needs that, its a bad build.
Where are you getting the 9 points extra on?
When I have everything equipped, perk cards etc I have all of my points allocated

That’s really weird though because when I was equipping everything I didn’t come out with any extra points but if so, yeah allocate them into something that will help with making the build a little bit better ☺️
