Yeah the whole stack blew my mind. I kinda love it when I buy a collection and someone had a large run of the comics signed by an artist or writer. I have several series with almost every issues signed. Oh Did not catch the Batgirl was a Newstand will have to update his value Thanks for the catch.
The Weird Western tales #12 and 13 are 3rd and 4th appearance of Jonah Hex. Nice video, so many keys and with the passing of George Perez I would covet those autos on the New Teen Titans books…
Yeah I have been after the Jonah Hex keys for years, I still need his first two appearances. Cool comics indeed. And yeah I was super happy to get the George Perez autographs for my collection.
That is a fantastic run, I have been slowly grabbing issues from 105-200 over the years, but I think this collection will jump start the run for me so now I need to focus more on that run. Having a few of the big keys out of the way really helps.
The beginning of the silver age is consider to start with the introduction off Barry Allen in Showcase 4 in 1956 and ends with Amazing Spider-Man 96 when Stan Lee decided to publish a story on Drug Abuse without the comic code in 1971.
@@pop-comics ok mate I like 1950s comics 1960s my favourite is 2000ad judge dredd Spiderman batman teen titans X-Men starwars dark horse comics captain America there's new comic come out called shift that has about 6 different story's in there but how popular that ones gonna be I don't know Jason 😀😊
Glad to see you doing comic book videos instead of Funko pops. Thanks for sharing, amazing that you pay so well for entire collections. I thought people buy collections at 15% to 20% or 15 cents per comic??
I only do comic videos here. Pop ones are on the pop channel. Yeah a lot of places rip folks off. But a collection like this is a quality collection so I am thrilled to pay a fair price. I would buy collections like this all day long at those prices if I could.
@@pop-comics Thanks for replying. You are a nice guy. Do you buy baseball card collections? I have a quality collection - 1960's, 1970s star cards and more. Would like to sell the whole collection. I can send you pictures. Thanks.

Hey! I’m relatively new to comic book collecting and I’ve mainly been only collecting monster/ghost comics from the 60’s-70’s but I’m interested in the more niche super heroes as well, I discovered the speedball comics from the early 80’s and I was wondering what other hero’s similar to speedball that are lesser known and more niche had stand alone comics from the early 80’s and prior! I wanted to ask someone with a vast comic book knowledge lol
There are a bunch of short lived series with less popular odd characters haha what I would do is go to mycomicshop.com look up say speedball then click on the publisher marvel. This will give you a list of all the titles Marvel has published. You can then click on all the runs that have just a few issues from the 1980s and earlier and that will allow you to explore and possible find something you enjoy.
@@pop-comics in box 5 kong the untamed is a pretty cool wrigtson cover, most of those phantom strangers are neal adams covers, and i noticed a couple of nick cardys in that bunch and a kaluta. i have to stop at box 6 for the night. those signed books were pretty crazy lol, very cool collection so far
I think $10-$20 more each depending on the issue and the quality of the signature for the Teen titans and I think on DC Comics presents 26 it increased my offer price by $50
I saw something in that batch I frequently search for: any appearance of ZATANNA in her silver and red "Jeannie" style! Anyway, how this person arranged these boxes just violates my sensibilities! There seems to be no pattern, as if he just tossed stacks of books into boxes without a plan!
I don't know about that, this collection seemed way more organized then what I normally buy. It was sorted mostly by character and in numerical order. Unless your being sarcastic lol Aquaman together, flash together, green lantern together, wonder woman together etc. Also he was not a run builder for newer stuff, he just had the key issues. As for the Zatanna issues there were a few with that suit which was cool!
@@pop-comics I guess I'm more of a "Felix Unger" type where they would be in strict alphabetical order and arranged by the years, not jumping back and forth between ages. To me, it seemed like each box did its own thing! (Justice League after Wonder Woman?) BTW what makes the Barry Allen Flash cool?
Showcase #4 aka the first Appearance of Barry Allen is considered the beginning of the silver age of comics so he is super important to comic history. Its also the Barry Allen Flash that was featured in the 1990s Flash show, the CW Flash show from the last decade or so and the Flash in the current DC Cinematic Universe. He was the central character in Flash Point which was the catalyst that brought on the New 52. He was a founding member of the Justice League. His death in the Crisis on Infinite Earths brought an end to the bronze age of comics and brought on the Copper Age. The Multiverse was first introduced in Flash 123. I think hes pretty cool and a important part of comic history.

Glad you enjoyed it! I like going back to watch my videos so I try to edit them to flow fast and fun.
Those signed Perez Teen Titans books are awesome!! Holy moly! And that Adam Hughes Batgirl #1 is a newsstand!!! And so, so much awesome silver age!!!

Sweet partial run of teen titans. Love all those covers so much
Yeah one of my all time favorite runs, I really want to finish the run in at least a 4-5 grade each.
Bravo my friend. What an awesome collection.

Envy. This is the first collection that I was truly jealous of. Nice books
Yeah this was a collection that took time and effort to put together so it made it that much more special.
....thank you so much for posting - this was so much fun - much 'oohing!' and 'aahing!' ensued!!

This is a really great collection.
It really is, I love a an awesome curated comic collection like this.
On those George Perez books always check inside on the main page because in the early 80's he used to sign there and not on the covers.
Definitely, pretty much true for any older book.
Wow. I'm not a DC guy, but that collection could certainly make me one. Nice score.
There are definitely some amazing DC comics out there especially from thew Silver Age.
Frickin awesome bunch of Harley Quinn Comics...🤘🏼💯✔️
Yeah this collection was epic!
Those early teen titans Nick Cardy covers were beautiful.
Oh yeah I love Nick Cardy, his covers are so wonderful.
This was a fun collection! Thank you for sharing!
It really was fun, you are so welcome :)
@49:48 Suicide Squad #48 (origin of The Oracle) and a flashback of The Killing Joke. Great key issue.

Just getting into comic books. I’m falling in love…😂

Heads up Shawn, @1:44 that red weird war comic is first Frank Miller art.
Oh yeah I realized all those war comics were keys while pricing them out. Very awesome stuff!
Wow! That is a fun collection. My favorites were the all those New Teen Titans signed by George Perez. I’m so jealous. I love that series.
It really is a fun collection with so many comics from my favorite series to collect right now.
Starting off with the Teen Titans was amazing! Beauties!
