Very nice. We used to do Chow mein all the time growing up. Seems like we never do anymore. This has inspired me to bring back the memory on the Blackstone. Thank you for sharing!

Yeah man! It was super good!
The buffalo sauce was a unique twist. Looks terrific👍
I was at a Mongolian barbecue place back in high school and my go to was always teriyaki, chili garlic and buffalo sauce. Now that’s my go to every time
@@GriddleGrub awesome, the taste buds don't lie, so I'll give it a try😊
Looks great-have tried stir fry on the griddle yet. I’m inspired! The buffalo sauce is an interesting twist.
Thank you!
What chow mein noodles are are essentially egg noodles. A lot of places sell dried egg noodles and I prefer to buy them because they are significantly cheaper than packaged chow mein where I can get a pound of dried noodles for $1-$2 as oppose to a package of 5 oz pre-cooked noodles for $3-$5 each. For dried noodles you cook the noodles in boiling water like you do with spaghetti pasta, for 6-8 minutes, to taste, and ALWAYS use really salty water, ocean water salty. It is really preferred to thoroughly dry your noodles before cooking- at least 2 hours or like I do, over night, lightly covered, in the fridge. That way, they wont stick as much on the cooking steel surfaces and tear the noodles while cooking. Dry noodles offer the benefit of absorbing the cooking liquids like soy sauce and the oils on their 2-3 minute stay on the griddle or pan. Some secret ingredients I like to use are sherry wine (preferably Shaoxing wine but its hard to source), Oyster sauce, and MSG.
I like your style. I never heard to drive the noodles out after cooking them so I will definitely try that next time. Thanks for watching!
@@GriddleGrub I am not sure If I wrote that clearly, I meant for after boiling dry noodles in preparation for frying on a seasoned steel surfaces. You dont need to do this for spaghetti tomato sauce dishes since they get coated in starches while boiling that helps the tomato sauce stick to the pasta strands. Getting back to stir fry noodles, for the premade noodles you buy in sealed plastic pouches, those are pretty dry and you dont usually have to dry them before frying them, but if theirs a lot of water in the pouch, pour liquid out and patting dry the noodles will suffice. I dont advise you let the noodles dry after cooking on your griddle. Noodles should generally be eaten immediately because they tend to get soggy and lose their pleasant texture rather quickly.
Thanks for the tips
Looks delicious or as we say in New England....F...IN KILLAH!!! Rock on and thank you for sharing your video!!!
Thanks for watching Mike!
mixing it up is a no go, doing this makes it stodgy, keep the noodles separate and add at the final dish, also cook the garlic on the heat of the grill for about 30 seconds before mixing into the food , also add a little sesame oil, dark soy and light soy for that traditional flavour, I also add a little oyster sauce to this dish, trust me it brings a taste that adds real Asian flavour.
Looks great. I’d add some oyster sauce and cabbage.
It looks good. However, when you mixed the chicken and veggies together, you should have pushed them to your left where you already had the burner off.
Then you should have dumped your pasta where the griddle burners were still on.
Just would simplify your work flow.
Have you tried the Ka'me already cooked stir-fry noodles on the grocery store shelf? So easy to use and they taste great. Nice cook.
No I haven’t but I will definitely look into that. Anything to make it easier!
I’m 100% in on that Ron! I love a good chow mein super easy but so good. And I like sriracha but my go to for more heat and flavor is the chili garlic paste, far superior imho. Awesome job brother and keep on griddlin!
Thanks Charley!
