I doubt they got that for msrp. If they did they wouldn’t sell it because then theyd never get another limited edition from porsche. But maybe. What do i know lol 😂
If you had bought the 918 brand new you get 1st access to the limited edition cars,you could easily make back all the money you spent on the 918
@@conor7154 maybe but those that have the money to do so keep them for a few years and sell them as low mileage pristine cars for the high value ,it’s a shame really that these care like 911r and sport classics are often locked away and hardly driven

That's a crazy car, Turbo with RWD and no vents for intercoolers. Pretty special. I have a 997.1 Turbo with manual, so I tend to be a lover of turbos :)

Exactly the opposite, The faster a car is, the more a PDK is needed to drive it to it's potential. GT2 RS will always be the most powerful P car, and will always be a PDK.
I think you missed my point, ive had 2 turbo s and a manual 997 turbo and I am speaking from experience and the experience not stats.
Holding the steering wheel and letting a computer drive for you is not the same . Yeah it’s faster way faster it doesn’t feel the same

One thing that should've been optioned, or even flipping included, is the seat belt surrounds in Alcantara to match the headliner. They are finished in cheap plastic and look horrendous. It's a few hundred dollar option for the front and rear, and if you're spending $300K+ on a car, you'd think the person that originally specced this car would've chosen that.

shoot in 60 fps or 120fps and use slow mo on the illustration. Also tell the editor to use "warp stabilizer" in premiere pro, or whatever software they use to cut out the up and down movement of the camera. or do it analog with a good Osmo stabilizer. keep the drag races comin'!

That price is idiotlc.
Unlike the S/T and GT cars, is kind of a parts bin car. Yet it has the transmission, but all the design details are lifted from the regular models, where the GT cars get a bespoke design. You can't make a regular 911 look like a GT, but you can make a regular 911 look like a Sport Classic.
C7 Corvettes are 7 speed manuals.

Lovely car. As a repeat (and current) Porsche owner (GTS Macan and 992 C4s), it irks me that Porsche does these extremely limited releases. You can walk around my dealership and see brand new models "reserved for special customers". Not For Sale sign is on 7 cars on my Porsche showroom; 2 Sport Classics. I spoke with my buddy who is the GM and he says that they only sell the Sport Classic models (they have 2) to customers who bought the 918 Spyder from them. I have purchased 7 cars from this dealership and I wouldn't even be considered.

Thoughts on the new Porsche taycan turbo gt? Seems like a car built for you
not a fan, still has a 2 speed transmission and only gets full power for a few seconds from pushing a button, seems a bit compromised.....
when is the revuelto supposed to get delivered
The power to weight may a bit better or on par, but….
The broader torque and power curve of the turbo will take it

I think we reached a point where wheels are getting too big, look at the thumbnail and compare side profile of an older Porsche ( 2015 and older ) and look at the ratio of sheet metal vs fenders proportions! Don't get me wrong, this car is sexy beautiful...
