Can I just say 1) the specs on the Revuelto and the SF90 are absolutely stunning! 2) the 918 still keeping it up in performance and looks despite being 10 years old shows just how much ahead of its time it really was.

This just proves how good of a driver Matt is. Matt is a very good driver Notice how at 9:02 when they reved their cars Tomi and the Fat guy were reving at 4000 - 5000 RPM and Matt reved at a lower RPM (3500 RPM), I think that helped so he didn’t over spin the tires on the launch.
So much for Revuelto being hailed as the "SF90 Killer". The SF90 still showing its superiority being 5 years old. And the 918 being so close to the lambo shows a lot about its performance. There's a reason why its part of the modern holy-trinity.
@@flaminggodofthundernot really, track wise, the SF90 is the fastest production car in top gears power lap, it's substantially lighter than the Lambo given that the new Revuelto uses a carbon fiber tub compared to an aluminum one in the SF90, and also the SF90 has a bigger battery but still it managed to be lighter.

The SF90 and the 296 GTB are the killer siblings of the supercar world. SF90 is the fastest in the supercar world(Revuelto doesn't come at first anymore), 296 beats all cars in its level (e.g. McLaren 750S) so ya..
The SF90 is the real deal of modern sports cars, its performance are untoucheable and it's already a 5 year old car. 9.6 in the 1/4 mile is Bugatti chiron territory... absolutely unbelievable

Lighter by 250-500#, has better aero, solid power to the front axle dragging it up to speed until the turbos kick in fully. Ferrari has almost always whooped lambo&Porsche as well. 😀 I can't wait to see the first true Ferrari ev sometime next year! 😎

The sf90 uses an aluminium chassis and has bigger capacity battery compared to the revuelto's smaller capacity battery and carbon monocoque and still the Ferrari is lighter by a massive 200kg! Also, sf90 is about at least 4 years older than the revuelto! Ferrari's engineering is just better than that of Lambo!
@@4literv6 Wrong about the power delivery. It is the exact same concept between the Lambo and SF90. Two electric motors in the front, there's no solid power transfer between the front and rear. The SF90 is very much a front assisted RWD car. Floor it on a loose or wet surface, and it is a very scary thing to drive. Much more so than an F8 or Pista. What you should also consider, is the fact that the SF90 has such a hard hole shot that the front wheels have very little weight on them. They spin a lot during a hard start because of this. The Lambo is just too little too late as always.
Maybe... The car is impressive. But it's a V8, nor a V12 like Enzo used to prefer them ...and it even has help from 2 turbos and 3 electric motors... Not the classic recipe for Enzo... But who knows, maybe all this new impressive tech would have grown on him. Ferrari has evolved a lot. They used to build excellent ICE. ...and still do of course, but over time they evolve from just great engines to very efficient track machines ...and then, to top software engineering helping on performance, both on power deliver and dynamic agility. ...efficiently adding turbos and electricity to the mix was just a another step that wasn't as hard as one could believe, because their cars were already "racing computers".

Definitely, though it was because yianni had his in hybrid mode instead of performance which limits power to 895 hp instead of 1,001 HP, he fixed it later and beat the 296 but ppl still say 296 beat it, which it didn't, ferrari's are really good at drag races.

Pretty sure most people buy the Lambo for the V12, the doors, the show, the way it makes them feel. It's not and it never was the fastest car on the road.

Wrong about the power delivery. It is the exact same concept between the Lambo and SF90. Two electric motors in the front, there's no solid power transfer between the front and rear. The SF90 is very much a front assisted RWD car. Floor it on a loose or wet surface, and it is a very scary thing to drive. Much more so than an F8 or Pista. What you should also consider, is the fact that the SF90 has such a hard hole shot that the front wheels have very little weight on them. They spin a lot during a hard start because of this.
The Lambo is just too little too late as always.

Ferrari has evolved a lot. They used to build excellent ICE. ...and still do of course, but over time they evolve from just great engines to very efficient track machines ...and then, to top software engineering helping on performance, both on power deliver and dynamic agility. ...efficiently adding turbos and electricity to the mix was just a another step that wasn't as hard as one could believe, because their cars were already "racing computers".
