Bowie the God of Music period! RIP in Rock and Roll heaven we all miss you. Dear God please take Gaga, Madonna, and Bieber and send us back Bowie, Lennon, and Hendrix...
only for awhile, though. He sobered up after awhile. He had class, manners, everything. I know he wasn't perfect, but he was only human. We shouldn't judge because we would probably be judged ourselves, but his good qualities were amazing. He wasn't God anything, but he was a really decent man.

Holy F*#K! Just completely crushing it on all fronts. Crunchy guitars, killer bass lines, monster drumming and nice keyboard accents and of course Bowies vocals and harmonies! Best version on YT!
Around 2019 I was working in a Grocery Store and this young College Girl comes in one night wearing a Ziggy T Shirt. I informed her that she needs to watch this as it is the absolute best version that I have ever seen and to also watch Heroes.
@@Gabrielecgomes1 I hope so too. I told a friend of mine to watch the version of Heroes from this show as it is the absolute best that you will ever see. @@kristinaa5420 Because it's too true no one knows what to say. The opening riff is one of the most powerful things I've ever heard, it just hits that feeling you didn't know existed.
+Al Tavers I had the pleasure of seeing Bowie in 83 for the serious moonlight tour. It was unusual in that their was no warm-up band. He just performed had an intermission and then played some more. A completely electric performer. The world lost one of the true greats.
+Al Tavers - My friends mother saw him live and in the mid 70s no less, she said it was utterly mind blowing, she said it was like seeing God LOL! I can see it too, in those videos of him playing live in the 70s, the audience is basically going nuts. She said everyone in her class back then had Bowie notebooks, tee shirts, buttons, him and Elton John all the teen girls went nuts over. The boys went nuts for Led Zeppelin and what's crazy is tickets usually cost $6 to $10 bucks back then which is about $30 - $50 bucks in todays money. Imagine that, you could see Bowie or Zeppelin in their prime for $30 freakin bucks. What are concert tickets now for a big name? $150? And that's only if it isn't scalped.
Georgie Thumbs My first concert was The Beatles in San Diego, 1965, I was 13 maybe 14. Tickets were $3.50, $4.50 and $5.50. We got the $5.50 seats, that was a lot of money back then.
What a performance...world class! And the girl on the bass guitar..such nice and soulful playing and also a very cute woman 😎 R.I.P. Master of the universe 🙏🏿🌈
He always remained popular dispite some dips in his career, Bowie had charm, intelligence, vunerable, and above all endless creativity to keep re inventing himself. Wonderful voice, style and charisma. Been a fan forever. Devastated when he left us too soon.
I think Bowie was more of a popper. And I mean it without any disrespect. Mick and Axl are way more "rockstar" than Bowie was, however all of them are great musicans. And this one rocks of course :)
I think this is the first time I've seen David Bowie perform Ziggy Stardust live since the " Ziggy fairwell concert" at the Hammersmith Odion in '73/74'? After watching it I played it again but closed my eyes and there I was back in '73' ! Absolute genius. R.I.P David Bowie.
It is hard to choose. As I looked at all the albums, I thought about each song I have heard, each one that I have loved in its turn. I think the point I was trying to make is that I would not say one is better than another, but that I like one over another. It is not about the quality of the song and singer, but the preference of the listener.
+Reed Nelson To be honest, any Bowie audience would know this song after the first chord...especially as he only ever did it as an encore in his later concerts, like this one.
+20thCB Knew it BEFORE the chord is strummed, always bitter sweet, it's Ziggy!, but it's the end of the concert. The moment everyone is waiting for...but it's the end.
We have lost some very extremely talented artists lately. David Bowie one of my all time favorites! He was so special there are no words to explain his talent.mms Glenn Frey there to what do you say about that wonderfully amazing man. Prince passed to young to really find out how good he could have become but from the little bit he did was simply amazing. I was living five miles from this concert, on this date, and I didn't know it was on. I've been kicking myself ever since.

Real shame
Bowie was a huge influence. Thumbs up if you ever named a pet Ziggy.
My next pet will be named ziggy!
There will never be anyone cooler than David Bowie....period.
You were the hottest most open minded man ever! Rest easy, Mr. Bowie! You were to good for this world

One of the few who never became an "aging" rock star. Was relevant and cool looking from day one all the way until the end. RIP David.
Unfortunately, he stayed "cool" by staying thin and he did that with cigarettes and coke.
