I don't know if it's just me, but Gail Ann Dorsey added a special dimension to the Bowie musical experience. We're so fortunate to have UA-cam to make us appreciate that David Bowie walked our planet as a polymath.

I looked up the word crescendo in the dictionary - and every time this song comes up. Might be the best written song ever.... R.I.P. D. Bowie. You deserve to be in peace for eternity because you have provided us so much joy and inspiration.
Mr Bowie as a sixty year old man you were and still are the man !! We all wished we could have been as cool as you. Thanks for all the good and bad times in our life's.
I am still in disbelief that I was able to see him in 1978. I was so young. So much was lost on me. But it was amazing. And then again, in 83 for Serious Moonlight. And then again for Sound and Vision. Such a vocalist. His voice, his control, his ability to adjust on the fly to what his voice was doing that night. And the songs he wrote...heartbreakingly pointed and insightful. I hope has has the peace he so richly earned.
I love it that it starts so relaxed, so much so that he doesn't come in at the start by accident, then the casual drinking from a mug, then to the passion of the song. The band was all together........

My heart is still broken. I went to every concert in Australia 🇦🇺. I'm 58yrs old and think, what the hell is wrong with me ???😢😢 that voice ahhh
This version, and the Motorhead cover, are my two favorites
This song is uplifting and sad at the same time, and David's voice is so emotional. It's just a magical song that I never tire of hearing.
