I love your videos they are so awesome. I love being in nature I love the mountains. When I lived in Wyoming the mountains I felt like that's where I belong..
It's funny you talk about cutting a limb off the top of your house! I also did that one day! I was on my tip toes cutting down a limb over my roof and it fell right on top of me! So I was trapped on the top of my roof with this 150 lb limb on top of me! It took me a few minutes, but I finally figured out that i still had the saw next to me and I cut my way out! What a fun day that was!
Luke and Susie, totally enjoyed this video! Very nice scenery, awesome conversations, great music to go with your video, and just all around very relaxing for me. Thanks! Blessings from Gresham Oregon, Michelle Reed
Another great video. Always love your combination of attitude and thoughtfulness. It really makes your stuff great to watch. I like the longer videos. The relaxed pace at camp is one of the best parts of being out and you seem to capture that well. Thanks for putting in the hard work. It really shows. Take care, Lee
Luke, Great video.... Id give anything for my wife to go camping like that.. You are a very lucky man.. Keep up the good work and keep them coming... Thanks for the time you take to make these videos... I don't know why 3 people would give a thumbs down.. Thumbs up all the way
Very nice trip Luke and Susie! Very awesome to see you guys use that Golite tent. It's one of my favorites and I'd love to have one of those some day. Also, I'd love to hear more about the Bigfoot activity in your Lone Wolf Mountain. Thanks for sharing. -Jacko
I have the AR 55 pack, also primarily a multi-day climb design. Pared down, in this case to 1 bottle bucket which can safely accommodate 2, 3/4 litre bottles, on the left side. With a pair of add-on hip belt pockets it makes a decent trek pack, large enough to extend the distance between re-supplies when needed, but compact enough to give no encouragement to packing too many nice-to-haves. Thankfully, there's no fancy-pants mesh on the outside, a widespread and popular design feature (failure) that does not impress me. The idea is promoted that mesh pockets are good for drying tents, fly's etc, which is utter nonsense, unless you are prepared to remove your pack, unpack whatever you are drying, re-fold to expose another square foot of saturated fabric, repack and continue. How many times a day will you need to do that. It'll really help your schedule when you are trying to complete that section hike in whatever limited time your workaday life will let you have, won't it? Good luck with that folks, so just shake off the excess, shove it in the outside pocket, crack on and forget the nonsense about drying it out. What does it matter anyway? Flysheets are supposed to get wet aren't they? Pack makers like it because mesh is cheaper than Xpac, Raptor, Dyneema grid210 etc. Saves a few grams too which in the obsessive world of uber uber ultralight is a big selling point, but is that small saving worth sacrificing reliable stowage? I think not. Mesh is useful for gear lofts, fishing nets butterfly nets etc but is better suited to clothing the nether end of the female form than the rough life of a pack. So if any pack designers get to read this, please give thought to knocking this piece of silliness on the head and returning to solid fabric pockets which are not only durable but also allow reliable closure. Ok, rant over. My excuse is that you were using the slightly smaller version of the more or less same pack as mine. Thanks for another great vid, I'm looking forward to many more. You help put a shine on the grey wet dreariness of a late autumn day in England, when the cold clings and as some of you on your side of the big water say, you wear the air. Good luck, stay safe, n God bless.
Hi Luke, You are so right, I love laying in my tent at night when the rain is pouring doing, and also snow. That's the best part of backpacking, I love taking pictures of wildlife and landscapes. wow, you gave a stranger some water? lol you two are just too nice, not that there's anything wrong with that at all:) Oh, and BTW, yes, "You got me " pretty much every time lol. -Jake PS: I wouldn't mind extended longer videos, I really enjoy watching them, you should spend a few nights out there, 2, 3,or 4 nights. I love watching your overnight trips, when i go backpacking I always watch old videos in my tent at night.
You both are awesome to watch and love to watch your vidios. love your land you camp on. suson is so cute. and Luke you don't even look close to 40 unreal good for you. love to watch you set up camp and camp a normal camp out. wish i was there to enjoy your camp out with you. have a great day and stay safe.

im glad it wasnt the bike trip...the app trail is the only way to go if you dont have land...your best video to date if you ask me..you go mrs sue. enjoyed EVERY MINUTE.
Love the cat on a lease story. When my oldest daughter was a young'un she became a familiar sight walking her pet rabbit on a lease down to a nearby field which was usually covered in clover. Probably the nearest thing to rabbit heaven as far as Daisy (the rabbit!) was concerned! Great and joyful days!
To bad about the bikes but safety first. Another great job guys. The area your in looks quite plenty of room and mostly flat. The tent looks great to bad it's no longer available. I love the sunset through the trees. Thanks. atb Opal
This is a great video! Me being a hardcore outdoorsman, i really enjoy watching you and your wife camping together. My wife likes to camp but she can't if she is bitten by mosquitoes are horse flies I will have to take her to the hospital. Keep the videos coming I really enjoy them.
Nice i enjoyed it,you guys are great.I remember that camp spot off your old video, it was a good one felt you guys make a good effort with your videos ,like how you take viewers answers an questions ! I joke allot but tried to give you an original question.
Great video guys. It looked like you had a lot of fun. It's videos like this which make me miss living up north. Maybe soon I'll head north again. That tent looks great. I wonder how it would stack up size wise against the Coleman Hooligan 2. (I carry that monster.) Keep up the videos.
Great to catch up on your adventures "Gray Bush".... From March 24th through Sept 12th I have been thru hiking the AT, I did a lot of stelth camping and though of you often. keep up the good work! Love the Videos! "Red Hot"
I'd definitely be up for an extended cut. I'm a programmer and I like to have stuff on that I can mostly listen to but partially watch as well while I work... Having something like that dealing with the outdoors would be awesome.
Awesome overnighter!!!! You guys are great! I just recently started watching all the adventures you do and I've takened some of your Ideas and applied them on a trip my stepson and I done not too long ago...I plan to do another adventure with him again soon and hopefully have as much fun as you two make it look. We like to sleep in hammocks while we camp so if you have anymore of these type of camping trips coming up, I will look forward to watching.... God bless you and your family and happy camping!!!
🤣🤣 You are so nice. We all know you like your own company. I would never ask to join someone. Always wait to be invited and if not wish folk a goodnight and move on to your own patch.
