Personally, I am not a big fan of many running influencers who run with multiple crew members, a vehicle, and a drone hovering above, constantly blabbering about positivity all the time. However, you aren't one of them. You, Nico, are one of the most genuine athletes I've ever come across, and your videos are not only educational but also very relatable. Your videos carry a lot of emotion and authenticity. Keep inspiring us! ❤ Much love to you.
Listen, Sophie if you happen to see this thank you so much for all that you do! I mean just such a jewel. A Warrior indeed. We all love you so so much and wish you many many blessings 🙏🏽 (Side note: NICOOOO My Brother in Christ, MARRY HER NOWWWWW!!!!!! I’m telling you she is one in a gazillion in literally every category. That’s your P31). Also thank you Nico for pushing through and showing it’s possible to break through your peaks, I’ve been watching & Have been inspired and encouraged to do the same , Blessings!
Sophie is the undisputed GOAT! I was going to run my first ever 5k race today but it got canceled because of a thunderstorm, so i went to the local gym which happens to have an indoor track and did a 2.5 mile speed workout. I almost quit in the middle to be honest but I pushed through and I’m so happy right now. I’m about 4 months into running now and I hope to run a 27min 5k by June 1st because I’m headed to the Summer Leadership Experience at USMA West Point and will be taking the Candidate Fitness Test there. You’re a huge inspiration to all of us Nico, keep it up!
I could relate so much to this nervousness before the big workout, which feels like a race, but isn't. I just started my running journey after doing many other types of sports, and running is definitely a different mental game. Thanks for motivating me in my prep. Wish you the best day at race day! The hard work is done, you can be already so proud of pushing through this hard prep!
"Run the mile you're in." You crushed the workout and can't wait to see what goes down on race day dude. Sub 3 is my goal this year, but the question is by how much will I blow by it. Thank you Sophie for filming!
Sofie is the undisputed goat!! 🙏🏼 I absolutely love the support and your relationship! Thank you so much for creating real, genuine running content. For a new runner like me, your content is very inspirational and keeps me going one more! 🥳
Sophie is the UNDISPUTED GOAT. The editing in this video was insane... ==== The fact that she supports you what ever you want, in your hobby, in your goals, even if you fall down 2-3mins from your goal, you and sophie is a true winner! === I remember when my girlfriend is waiting at the finish line at my first half-marathon run -- gunstart @4am, at my 20th km, I'm really crying inside, excited to see her. even if she's not a morning person she had a good time filming me at the finishline @6:30am
Sophie is the undisputed GOAT!!! And so are you Nico! Super proud and inspired by your progress and prep so far. So so excited about the Eugene marathon. You’ve got this Nico 👊
Sofie is the undisputed goat!! Let's go!! Nico I would just like to say how much I admire your mindset. A true inspiration. Whilst I have been running for four years now and even did the London Marathon, I have no desire to run a full one again but I try to apply your mindset every time I run. I run now to be fit and healthy, as like Sofie, I am a teacher and the classroom environment can be stressful but running calms me down time and time again. I'm not sure if I will ever return to races but my passion for running nonetheless will always be there. Good luck brother for the big day.
Just did a workout with the same format trying to go for sub 3:20. Hit all the 2 mile splits but missed the last floating mile split by about 30 seconds. Great job on this workout. The end almost feels like the end of a race!
Your videos are extremely motivational, and I cannot begin to express my gratitude to you! I wouldn't be where I am in my running journey without you so thank you! Sophie, you are the the undisputed goat!
Nico you are an inspiration, watching your videos have inspired me to start my own running journey and I am loving every minute of the process. SOPHIE IS THE UNDISPUTED GOAT.
Sophie is the undisputed goat! Also it is wild how a big, hard workout can make you more nervous than the actual race. The mental game is just as important.
While I've been watching you make videos since you were 10, I got as pumped as ever when you were combining that music with each mile time. Got me pumped to go walk my 10,000 steps faster! Looking forward to seeing you and Sofie next week!
Go One More brother! Best of luck in Eugene! I have a half I'm building for now and my first ever full later this year in October. Seeing you and others put in the work helps light the fire in me to keep showing up. Running 6 days a week and working 12 hour shifts myself I know how it is to wake up at an ungodly hour let alone to run, so Sophie is the GOAT for that!
Congrats on nailing your final big workout and sharing you're entire prep with the world. Nothing is a given but you've set yourself up for success. Enjoy your hard-earned taper and rest. Best wishes for a safe and fast run in Eugene. Sophie is the undisputed🐐!
This video came at perfect time for me. It is motivating me to get out and do my speed run today. I love your videos. They show all of the feelings that come with building towards some thing that you’ve never done before. It’s hard to find people that can understand that journey, these videos are beautiful portrayal of that fight within. Thank you.
Nico, you have inspired me more than words can explain! I'm so thankful I stumbled upon your content! I went from a college football player that didn't enjoy cardio to a guy that is starting to prep for a marathon and loves every moment of it! It shocks me to even type that out. I want to start documenting my journey and was curious on all the equipment you use to record your videos. For example the specific camera, microphone, editing software, etc. I would greatly appreciate this.
I love your videos! I started watching you 8 months ago and that’s when I started running. I now have a 4 mile trail run coming up! Thanks for being an inspiration!!
I have my first marathon in June. Ive hired a coach and its been so helpful to know your training is as specific as it can be for all of our own situations and its extremely rewarding completing these tougher workouts for sure. Just completed a half marathon distance for the first time in my life today just as a casual run and it was an insane feeling. I can relate to how you felt about focusing on those specific sections! Definitely just have to focus on the mile in front of you.
Just want you to know, I was feeling really sluggish today and convinced myself not to do my workout at all. This video motivated me to get my 7.5 km workout in done. Really happy I did. Thanks dog
Killer video and performance, both production and vibe is always getting better! Super excited to see you crush it in the race day vid, its gonna be incredible. Sofie is for sure the undisputed goat for filming all of these sick shots. 😁🙌 What does your gym work look like now that you said you would try strength training 3x per week?
I’m a sophomore in high school who lives in Tucson az and I just recently ran 4:40 in the mile. It’s super inspiring to see your improvement and work ethic. It’s motivating me to train hard for xc this summer. Keep it up man! You’re gonna crush it in Eugene! Sub 2:50 baby!
Nico just ran my first half marathon today Could’ve gone a lot better But I cramped real bad at mile 9 But I pushed through despite wanting to quit Love the videos The consistency and dedication to the craft
Nico! You're awesome man! So, inspired by you. You are fit wish you the best for 2:50. I know it's not easy, but you got!! can't wait to see you crush your goal......
thank you for sharing your story with me! i have watched your videos from your first half marathon! i love watching your videos, and they make me so happy to know i can run like you do! i love running so much, as you always say you always feel better after a run. i agree with that! your videos are amazing!! i love your style of your videos, keep up the great work! ❤
I've been running consistently for 8 months now. My farthest run is 14 miles but I've racked up so many sets of 12 mile runs in a week that I know I could do more. For now, I'm focusing on gaining speed. I've signed up for the Paris 2025 marathon (my first). I'm giving myself a full year to do my very best at my first marathon. As you're running your next marathon, it may help to think that there's a French UA-camr who ran the recent Paris marathon in "sandals" in 2 h 39 min! His name is Nico Anger. It could be that all Nicos run faster than average. Good luck!
Ran a 5K yesterday after months, it was horrible lol, shin splints, legs hurting, you know imma keep going so i get to that good level again But wonder if it was not running for couple months or im lacking any nutrients that my legs hurt that bad nonetheless, happy to join you in this journey man, keep leveling up💪
Hi Nico! Could you make a video showing your stretching routine and giving advice on how to avoid contractures or injuries? I'm now entering the world of marathons and I continue to have muscle problems even if I stretch.
Sophie is the undisputed GOAT, and it was really nice meeting you today! I saw you out the corner of my eye after the service and was like “wait I know who that is” like what are the chances lol. I’ve been following you since you started blowing up on TikTok with the flow haircut a couple years ago, the algorithm somehow knew we had the same hair at the time. Good luck in Eugene, I know you’ll crush it, and maybe I’ll see you again someday. Keep up all the good work!
Today is one month till I run a local Chicago 10 mile race! I know nothing crazy but when I signed up for this race, I was more of a walker/jogger. I still feel like a jogger because Im a slow runner haha. My friend convinced me to sign up for the 10mile instead of doing the 5k and by the time my head hit my pillow that night, I was freaking out. Wondering, why did I sign up for a 10 mile race!? So before I texted my friend I was out, I went to youtube. Looked up prepping videos for running and the rabbit hole brought me to your channel, thank GOD! ha! First I am a photographer/videographer- so admired your editing style and second you gave me hope that I can run most of the 10 miles and not rely on walking . I am still not the best runner but I am starting to love running and see improvement. Even though my running pace might not be the best for the June 2nd race, I know it wont be my last race! All that to say- thanks for helping me stick around long enough to love running and all the tips you share! Also-SOPHIE IS THE UNDISPUTED GOAT! :)
my name is also sophie so I like all these comments hahaha but seriously she is the 🐐!! and so are you, my first 1/2 marathon is coming up in may in part because of your videos!
Yo Nico! If you can start putting the min/Km as well as miles when you give us your pace, it would be so good. You're getting international 😎 Amazing work keep it up
What’s the farthest you’ve ever ran?
26.2 miles
11.25 km
5😭
My coach keep killing me and making me run 12 - 16 km every Saturday. And i only run 400m 800m in meets. I don’t understand him 😪
15 km. Doing my first half marathon in August and preparing for it systematically.
Personally, I am not a big fan of many running influencers who run with multiple crew members, a vehicle, and a drone hovering above, constantly blabbering about positivity all the time.
