Where is one place in the world you’ve always wanted to run in?
Flagstaff
Alaska
England
Rome
Switzerland
Running becomes is enjoyable the first time you have that moment of “i want to run right now”, and then it becomes and craving and a habit
soo true, when i wake up in the morning i dont need motivation to run anymore because i genuinely love it.
It’s addicting but I just can’t talk while running
Can’t agree more 😂
True. The moment I’ve decided that I wanted to go as fast as them 5k racers was the moment I truly enjoyed running
FR
you were the first running youtuber I watched and it has been over a year now and I have been running since and I have a 18:37 5k 40:12 10k and a 1:35:33 half marathon thanks dude your amazing.
WOW! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your huge motivation. I just again started running. Loving it!! My main motivation is mental well-being.
Haha I thought you said 1:35 marathon I was like yeah right Eliud
So humble of Nico to round down to 6’5” what down to earth genuine guy😂
I'm not sure if that was a joke or what. He really does not look that tall.
@@mmsabir1030it was absolutely a joke. Or else Sophie is also 6 ft+
@@mmsabir1030I think he’s like 5’8 or 5’9 so definitely a joke or else anyone he’s ever taken pictures with is a GIANT😂
Being deciplined to run slow and become better at running definitely helped me like running more. It's not fun in the beginning when you suck at it. At least for me.
For me it's the pacing. I've only ever played basketball and football so all about controlled sprints. Now after many injuries, I want to get into running for longevity and general health. I'll zone out and find myself almost sprinting and then run out of gas in a split second. Very fun, though, learning the pacing aspect and the mental awareness it takes.
For me, after years of trying to make it enjoyable, running became a positive experience when I stopped checking my pace and making myself anxious about whatever goal I had for my run. Go out, run if you feel like running, walk if you feel like walking, and just try to find that easy pace that allows you to get in the zone instead of obsess about time ticking and the possibility of you stopping or slowing down or letting yourself down at any moment. The mileage, the pace, whatever else you care about, will come naturally after. Give your body a chance to show you that it is actually capable of running
I agree. when i started focusing more on my form and not on my pace i felt so much better after my runs
Your Video's have leveled up so much since i started watching! I'm excited to see where this journey takes you. 👍
I appreciate that! Thank you!
Your video helped me on my run today. I ended up running longer than I had planned. I am a happy subscriber. Keep up the tremendous work!
i actually cannot explain how much i love watching this guy
I appreciate that!!
I like running by myself because it gives me time to think about my PhD. When I’m studying, I think about running…
Beautiful video Nico! Thank you for all the great tips.
I love these videos, it gets me excited to go for my daily run! I started running almost a year ago now and it’s changed my life and my mindset.
I completely agree with buying some new gear for extra motivation. It makes you faster haha!

Hi Nico, love your contents always. I am going through a knee injury right now during my prep for a half marathon. After watching this video, I become much more positive and a little happier. Keep being you! Thank you

Your new shirts are so sick. I saw you post them a few weeks back and this was the first impulse buy I have ever done. It was so affordable and I got the pepper shirt which I have already worn twice now. I have loved running so much the past few years and I love watching your videos.
Lots of love bruhhh absolutely loved it ❤️❤️🫂🫂
Love the music choices! 👌🏼
Started running for the first time 3 weeks ago, just had my first 10k after 10 days.
I love it, honestly i regret that i didnt start earlier. Besides that, it helps me with my weight loss journey, i dont have to force myself to do cardio because it simply doesnt feel like xardio
Man. I fractured my tibia bone 6 weeks ago. 7 weeks ago, i attended the OC Half Marathon and crushed it. I dont know when I'll be back to running, but I miss it so much!!

Just recently started running a couple months ago. I enjoy the process, but this southern heat and humidity makes it miserable. Even early morning or night runs are almost unenjoyable.

idk if anyone noticed it but you have really beautiful colors in your videos, props on that!
Great Video! Your cinematography is amazing! What do you use to listen to music on runs? My airpods don't seem to work for it. Also, what do you listen to on runs, always searching for new artists?
You’re 6’5”?!? That’s wild. This entire time I’ve thought you were like 5’9”.
Nah thats 🧢

What’s the title of the song “I only want the best for you” ?? 🥲
“Only want the best” by Judah & The Lion
It's so cool when running transitions from feeling like a punishment to the highlight of your day. I loved this video! All of your videos have helped me so much in running. I started off barely able to run a mile a couple of years ago and now I concisely run and can run longer distances because of consistency which you taught me.
Hi Nico
I quit running for 5 months
And now I will get back into it
I know it wont be easy but with consistency it will get better
Thank you for being an inspiration!❤❤
How's it going!
@@ishakespeare132 great, I can run 10 km again!
Gonna try for more
I injured my hamstring just two weeks before race day. Despite the injury, I decided to push through and run the race anyway.
After that, I had to take nearly four months off from running to recover, but I’ve just started running again, and I'm feeling great!
Wishing you all the best and continued success!"
Loved this video! Tahoe is an hour and a half from me!
Your tips are so helpful! I’ve been running for 12 years now and having a hard time staying consistent with it now. These tips are so great! Thank you!
Idk what’s been happening this summer but I haven’t been enjoying running as much as I did during XC and track
Thank you for this
I have been a consistent runner for almost a year now. And yes there has been many days where I don’t want to for a run (I also live in AK and in the winter there isn’t much motivation when the sun comes up at 11 am and starts going down at 3:30pm, and not to speak of when the temperatures are in the negatives!) but even when I don’t want to go I still do, and I always feel better after the run! But lately I’ve been actually craving to go and have that feeling of putting each foot in front of each other and just to keep going!
Since I've started running with a run club I have been enjoying running SO much more. Not only is it fun to be around so many like minded people and made me look forward to running, it has also made me a better runner. So absolutely can attest that it helps running with people
Do they run a lot of miles or can you join even if you have just started?
@@JTejeda759 most run clubs are very inclusive for all paces and distances! Would definitely check your area or you can also find groups on Strava to run with. Some groups have a membership fee and some are totally free! Definitely look around
You really inspired me to start a marathon Journey on my own, sadly after 2 weeks of running 4 times a week i got shin splints which just do not go away even after 7,5 weeks of recovery.
Have you tried walking on your heels? That healed mine when nothing else worked.
@@effortlesslye1921 no but wouldn´t that stress the bone tissue even further?
Bro the level of quality of your videos is different! I ended up in your Chanel checking the firsts seconds and the second quality of image…intro(drone), story telling got me, you better then everyone that does “run Chanel” on that by far!
Watching this while being injured is so hard. I hope everyone here stays healthy.
torn ACL here, hbu?
Glad to hear you listen to soundtrack music haha. I love listening to hype orchestral stuff. Avengers theme, Interstellar, Dune, Pirates of the Caribbean, some video game OSTs. Some days the rap hits, but most days the OSTs hit
That is amazing that you went to Lake Tahoe! My hometown is a small town called Placerville and it’s only about an hour and a half down the mountain. El Dorado County is such a beautiful place 😊 I love your videos too, keep inspiring ❤
Love your videos!! Beautiful & inspirational!! The best. Big thanks to you and Sophie!!
