I just want you to know that you helped lift me out of depression and start running again. I just hit nine miles last week after only being able to run two. You have motivated me to keep going and never give up. Running is my therapy and I missed it so much thank you NICO. keep going man
I’m a newbie into running so I run for 15 mts intervals 2 times. I’m building slowly but surely. You are the one who has giving me the courage to run 🏃♂️ and I thank you for that. I can feel I am getting stronger so I am pushing this week 5 mts more instead of 15 I want to push to 20 mts! 😊
Ran my first official 5k this morning and I honestly wouldn’t have started without your vids man. Keep grinding and keep inspiring, appreciate you man!
This is some pure inspiration right here. I really appreciate how transparent you are with the audience and how it really seems like you want to provide insight and helpful tips to us as well. Plus the awesome filming and editing, it's just awesome. Keep doing what you're doing bro👍
You, Floberg, Sally and Nick got me into running man. Ran my 1st full marathon 2 weeks ago, finished at just under 4 hrs. Thanks for the inspiration! Great video!
Just so incrediblely motivating to see this build, especially having followed along last summer! Awesome quality and honest vibe, these videos always make my weekends! 😊🙌
These videos are straight fire. The editing, quality, and dedication is amazing. Keep working hard for that 2:50. I’m excited to see what God has planned for your future!!!❤
I'm currently training for my first half marathon. your videos are super inspiring and I have learnt a lot from them for my own prep. thank you for putting out such quality content and for keeping it real!
You're an inspiration my man! I'm training for my first marathon and set out the goal to run a sub 3:30 and every day it gets closer to the race it gets scarier ha-ha. Keep up the grind and take it day by day and I know you'll crush that sub 2:50 no problem! Love from Kentucky :)
Just signed up for my first marathon in January. Gonna try to hit 30 miles this week so hopefully in five months my graph will look similar to yours 🤘🏻 love the videos dude, thank you for inspiring us all 🖤
Thank you for the honest update. So many people don’t acknowledge the difficulties and fears that come with endurance sports. You always keep it real, and that’s what makes you relatable. Thank you.
Hey! Love your vids! You have inspired me to start running! I have only ran a few times so far. Could you make a video on getting into running? Like beginners gear, how to run and stuff like that? This video was truly inspiring too. I love how you don’t just show the highs and talk about the lows I think it’s really important. Love your vids too!!! Best running vids on yt by FAR!
Wow wow wow. That John Batiste quote PREACHES. These videos have been my best companion while training for my first half marathon. I have learned a lot from you about ways to develop my mindset for those long runs. I would love to just sit for a couple hours (or maybe run I guess) and learn from you. I’m a lot older than you, but you have a LOT to offer the world. Your willingness in this video to have honesty around how hard it can be no matter how easy it looks was powerful to me. Thank you Nico!
I aimed for sub 3 when you did, and got it like you. In this block, aiming for sub 2:53 (April 28, but in the UK) and find it a mad target. I'm not doing a lot of speedwork, but I'm consistently hitting 65-72 mile weeks for the last 11 weeks. My experiment is to get used to the volume, and then in the next marathon block basically do a lot more speed workouts while working up to and maintaining the current levels of mileage I'd established the previous time. Nico your videos help me learn about what it takes, but chill me out at the same time. There's no one out there that's anything like you.
Nico, you are amazing! You make me strive to be a better runner and in doing so, I’m able to be a better human being. Thank you for being real, thank you for inspiring.
ayoooo nico you the best man today morning i saw your video and i was so inspired by your video and because of you i was struggling to run 3 miler but now i can easily run 15 to 20 miles under 2 hrs love you man huge respect
I ran my first mile today and I didn’t stop I know for some that’s nothing but to me it’s everything I’m so proud of myself…thanks @nicofelich been watch your videos for a couple months now been following your advice
Great work man. I’m trying for my 1st marathon, going for 2:55, & did 70mile this week too. Definitely can relate. Keep doing the work & focusing on getting something little out of every run 👊
Couldn’t have said it better, failure is what scares me. Putting all that work just to fail is what most people fear. Not in just running but in life as well.
Watching from Chicago! I have those exact Brooks compression shorts that you wore in Cali, the pockets on the side are a LIFESAVER! Keep up the great training man
Great vid as usual full of wisdom . I am following a triathlon training plan and for me. what works the best is to be prepared the day before each session. I even figure out one week in advance what I have to do. And one thing I say in myself is shut the f... off and do what you have to do without questioning. Once I get there, whether it's at the pool, on my turbo trainer or outside running, then I'm happy!
Hey so I’m new to running, And I’m wondering like how to get started. Do you think you could make a vid on like getting started with shoes and gear and all that? And love your vids!!
The only thing that directly can effect the quality of your runs will probably be the shoes, but if you're just starting, they're not even that necessary if you have some normall sport shoes Running wise, just go and run as much as you can, then rest, run a little more and repeat until you feel like stopping completely. Don't need to count the miles or pacing and stuff, just run slowly until you're tired. (also warm up before and stretch after to reduce soreness and help recovery) do that until you're comfortable with running and slowly start introducing pacing and counting miles if you wanted
'If you can just master doing something boring over and over again...' Hey Nico I run usually 3 times a week sometimes 4 im training for my school adventure racing team nevver listen to music never find it boring
I did this today. 70 miles in two days. I'm cooked. I feel fine. No extreme pain. Decent form for most of it. Just my ankles are smoked. I'm blessed to have good feet. Never any blisters, but the bottoms are sore as fuck.
That Schindler’s list score when he started the 14 mile workout had me dying. It’s definitely intense but I don’t know man Nico always nails these workouts so I never doubted
I needed to hear that last bit about running being hard for everyone. I ran my first half marathon last September and about 2 months before the race, I got a really obnoxious cough that lasted like a month and I eventually had to go to a walk in clinic and was diagnosed with stress-induced asthma (at the time, there was a really bad smoke problem from fires in the PNW that was triggering it) and that really stunted my performance/training regimen. I ran a 2:30 half marathon which isn't great, but I was proud to complete it at all as I put on a bunch of weight during the pandemic and when I got the asthma diagnosis, I considered not going through with it. I was wondering what your best advice is for improving endurance; I've just started getting back into my run training as I want to have a more competitive time this year (I'm aiming for sub 2 hours). I took a few months break period since the winters are awful here, but now that I'm getting back into the swing of things, I tend to get winded really easily and want to get to the point where I feel like I can just enjoy the run without pushing myself too intensely. Thanks and love the vids as always!
bro only cause of you i started running thanks a lot, really a true influencer (although i sprained my ankle today and can't run for like a month any tips for that)
Freakin amazing dude. You're gonna absolutely kill it! I do have a question though. With such high volume of training, where do you fit in strength training days?
Well done Man. I am also coached by Jeff and aiming a sub 3h in Boston 😮 It is amazing what you can do when you set your mind to it. Before Jeff, running 100km a week was something the elite did, not me. And here I am doing 100km week over week. Out of curiosity, not that Coros knows it all, but what does it predict for you on the marathon right now??
Videos are still improving 👍 especially the talking parts are better underlined with visual content and music, whilst in the beginning they were pretty lengthy and couldn’t keep one watching
Excellent and inspirational video! What did your easy pace start at? You said it’s around 8 minutes now, but where did you start and how long did it take you to build to that speed?
It’s so interesting to see how speed plays such a big role in how much mileage someone can hit in a week. Right now, running 9 hours in a week mostly easy will probably put me at around 45 miles, but that’s because my easy miles are 14-15 minutes. I know it’ll improve with time and consistency, so it’s inspiring to see other people’s journeys.
I'm almost 59 and going to start prep on 1/2 marathon starting next month. Still winter in Northern Manitoba Canada. I have 12 weeks to prep and want to beat my 1 hour 58 min time from last year. Any pointers besides doing the work and putting in the miles? Love your vlogs.
Really need your help on this one... I am going to prepare for my first marathon... My current max is about 4ish miles.. I have around 6 month prep time. . Can you made videos for beginners plan for the week , stretches and strategies... It will be really helpful... Love you from India ❤
Hey Nico, I'm just coming back from a knee injury, and I've never really run before. It's kind of like your experience coming from a lot of football. So, I was wondering, what shoes would you recommend for a beginner runner like me? I have small, narrow feet. keep up the good work !
Where in the world are you watching this from?
Nyc
Thailanddd
Barcelona, Spain

Macedonia
Not even kidding but I didn't want to do my run today, then I watched this video and now I'm gonna go do my run. You're fricking inspiring dude
I agree so much with this
Oh hell yeah
this man is the only reason im doing my long run today, completely agree with you
Same

Good timing, tomorrow will be the longest run of my training block 🤞🏼 20 miles here we go
You quoting Jon Batiste is everything to me. Being from New Orleans and loving him as a person and musician ❤ Keep up the hard work!
You, Floberg, Sally and Nick got me into running man. Ran my 1st full marathon 2 weeks ago, finished at just under 4 hrs. Thanks for the inspiration! Great video!

Thank you for the honest update. So many people don’t acknowledge the difficulties and fears that come with endurance sports. You always keep it real, and that’s what makes you relatable. Thank you.
Keep grinding bro these videos are amazing❤️
Thank you!!
Just saw this and then your 20 mile workout on strava. I could definitely see your goal coming into light. Brick by Brick great job man
Hey!
Love your vids!
You have inspired me to start running!
I have only ran a few times so far.
Could you make a video on getting into running? Like beginners gear, how to run and stuff like that?
This video was truly inspiring too. I love how you don’t just show the highs and talk about the lows I think it’s really important.

Way to stay disciplined and committed!! That determination will definitely separate you from other runners!

Watching this today before doing my interval workout, really hate intervals. This helps with motivation for those intervals workouts

NICO IS THE GOAT 🐐

Way to go man! That Lake spot looks fantastic! Would love to take a run there 😎

great vlog and breakdown. Kudos!
You make running look epic 🥇
nice one bro ; I will start running tomorrow after watching your videos
Keep going Nico!!!
Nico is a G 👏🏼
This video gave me chills
you’re an inspiration bro
Freakin amazing dude. You're gonna absolutely kill it! I do have a question though. With such high volume of training, where do you fit in strength training days?
With that distance you could run 1/3 of the diameter of my country (switzerland) from north to south, dayum. That is some endurance right there
Bro, after college come live in Colorado. It's a running paradise. Roads and trails for life. Also the highest it get is 90 in summer 🥵
Well done Man. I am also coached by Jeff and aiming a sub 3h in Boston 😮 It is amazing what you can do when you set your mind to it. Keep it up ❤️👟⚡
Another amazing video Nico!! Congratulations.. Would you mind sharing the gear you use to record your videos??
quality of vids is insane
Woo!! New Nico vid!
Always push however if it is TOO tough, for whatever reason then back off and run to effort
Wish I could run right now but my chin splint is getting bad so I swim and bike instead, you're doing good man keep going 💪
Yuhh nico such a good vid🦾🦾
Videos are still improving 👍 especially the talking parts are better underlined with visual content and music, whilst in the beginning they were pretty lengthy and couldn’t keep one watching
YEAYYYY NEW VIDEO LESGOOOO
Hey Nico quick question I have been running for about a month now and want to get better and more serious about it where can I find a running coach?
Looks like estrella Mountain Ranch. If so, I love running there too.
FAITH OVER FEAR LETS GOOOO

keep up the good work !
sign up for the Kansas City Marathon! I know you’re from here. I am going to run my first one at the Garmin in October in Kc. Going for under 3 hours!
You motivate me to keep going
Do you ever get nervous before a run (on your regulars)? I do and idk if it’s just adrenaline but the feeling boosts my confidence.
Hey Nico, I am doing my first marathon at the end of the summer. Do you have any tips for marathon training in the heat?
Run early in the morning or late at night! Drink enough water and electrolytes! Also carry a handheld water bottle on your runs!
That extra .02 on the 10 mile run is really getting to me
