I love using it in front of my already distorted Traynor YC80, keeping the amp gain around 1:00 (not in the boost mode), the Soul Food adds tons of gain and/or volume and great tone to pretty decent tone to begin with.
Strange comment, I personally think it’s durable. It’s made of a metal enclosure. Of course pedal parts are made of plastic, that’s how all circuit boards are. Would be a hell of a tumble to break the parts inside the pedal.
Just got this pedal used, it sounds great on my Vox Pathfinder 10. It’s insane how many sounds I’m getting.
This is a great demo! Just enough time spent on each setting to really hear it, but not so much as to belabor the point. :)
This is easily my favorite Soul Food demo and I’ve seen and heard many. 🙂
Now that is a groovy little stompbox. Sounds like a versatile rascal for both single coils and humbuckers.
I love this pedal so much. I keep it on pretty much all the time, with the knobs almost as they are at 1:20. I just have the Drive a bit higher.
The best video review
sounds just like my solid state Peavy amp form 1996
That dry signal was such a monster to begin with. The pedal on top of that was SWEET
Just ordered one as well as Clone Klon Centaur
Seems like it would be perfect for cascading other overdrives.

No sabe regular los controles, indeciso al manipular
God this is an awesome pedal
This pedal is a cheaply made pedal. Drop it once and it’ll break . All plastic parts on the inside . Not durable at all. Not worth the $.
Same with all pedals...... Don't drop your pedals......
