As an estate sale owner I would welcome a tag-sale next door. It brings in customers . There is no room in my company for rude. I won’t tolerate it. Good for you💗
I ran estate sales for 25 years. I would let the neighbors know.. they set up their yard sales! We even took turns going to shop at the neighbors! Sometimes we collaborating with other companies and did on same weekend to get customers out!
Rudeness is everywhere. I nearly fainted in the self checkout line of a store. The employee in charge of the lines brought me cold water and a wheelchair and stayed for a couple of minutes until I was feeling better. One woman in line complained that she had been waiting for 5 minutes! However, 3 other shoppers asked if I was okay. Good prevails!!
You are Not playing the victim. I appreciate when people sound the alarm, warning others of poor service so they don’t waste their time. I for one don’t want to deal with anyone with a bad attitude.
I live in Vegas too. I’m a reseller and yes, people are rude as hell. Can’t change it, it just shows how miserable their lives are. I hope I run into you someday. I rescue animals too. I have about 15 rescues I take care of!!!
Danni - You're such an amazing pet owner. I swear, just caring for the number of rescues you have would be a full time job for most! But YOU, my friend, manage the pets, a house, multiple businesses, a family and a UA-cam channel; all while battling chronic conditions. You truly are super human! Good for you for calling out people for their poor treatment of customers and the public at large. We have an estate sale company here that I REFUSE to go to because of their practices. Why can't we all just be nice to each other? It's really not that hard.
If U don't mind. I'd like to remind people that there are tortoises and turtles. Tortoises DO NOT LIVE in water, but some turtles do. I know someone who put a dry looking tortoises IN A POND, think he'd helped it. Sigh .
I'm glad you bought the art that called to you Danni. About 30 years ago I learned to never walk away from a piece of art that had spoken to me. I really regretted it but it actually took a second time for me to really let that lesson sink in. Now, if I love it and can at all afford it.. it becomes mine. :)
Bobbee from All American is the worst estate sale owner I used to live in LV watched her overprice junk and I've heard that she is a reseller so she hoards a lot of the merchandise for herself. It's not you it's her.

I'm with you. Some people shouldn't be in charge of anything dealing with the public. There is a lady that helps with estate sales here, all she does is complain about the customers. Non-stop. Every time I go, she's muttering something about, 'they want something for nothing', she has a sour attitude. I want to tell her, 'yes, I want something for nothing! Gime gime gime!'. I still go, I love estate sales.
A so called professional seller threatened by a neighbour’s yard sale maybe in the wrong business. You could see how it was a great symbiotic partnership too bad she could not. Keep being wonderful.

I was once kicked out of an estate sale. I had to wait for 15-20 minutes in line to pay, but I had a hand full of jewelry that wasn't priced. When I got to the cashier, I asked. She proceeded to yell at me that I should have read the signs. Rather than tell me the prices, she gesticulated at the sign on a far wall, which I couldn't read. So I told her I didn't want the jewelry anymore but still needed to pay for other items that were priced. She then grabbed all my items and told me she refused to sell them to me. I told her that I was not her dog that she could abuse and walked away stunned.

I recognized several of the people, and talked to the main person I remembered (not the lady who had kicked me out). I jokingly told him I was not welcome at his sales. This started a discussion. Turned out the lady was no longer with the company. He apologized profusely and said he wished I had said something at the time. Maybe I should have.... but I really wasn't in the mood to hunt someone down and prolong the situation! He seemed to remember her, though, and perhaps there's some karma.

I have called out restaurant managers for dressing down young workers right in front of the customers and followed it up with emails to corporate. So i get where you're coming from 100% ❤ I was hoping you would grab the stone eggs. They would be fun sold in groupings. And i had one of those little winking rubber dolls. I kept it on a shelf with my Troll dolls. 😊 great memories! Does your Mom have the Oster Kitchen center? Is that why she's looking for the Oster chopper? Because unless she's planning to chop lots of stuff a little one like that one is less work to clean after. I promise. A new one at Walmart would cost about $15 - $25. Take care my friend. Danni I bought a Book about Bonsai at the thrift store yesterday for $2.99 to my utter shock the Book was also signed by the author! I checked EBay and it’s selling for $500!!!!

I appreciate a little garage sale with the advertised estate sale in the same neighborhood. No laws or rules against that! If the estate sale lady was not serving her customers, then she deserves to be called out. Some estate companies need to put out more direction signs from the main road if they are tucked away. I got lost looking for the last estate sale I went to, and I was using my GPS! I kept missing the entrance into the neighborhood because there was not an estate sale sign and the road name was not clearly marked (county/city's fault). My GPS kept telling me to "Make a U-turn." Love it when I see a big sign pointing the direction off the main road and then others guiding me through the neighborhood.

I'm 79 and previously owned a stained glass. Stop calling these lamp shades. Plastic, they are not. They are wrapped with copperfoil. Which, after the lead is applied, they will feel and sound like plastic, but I assure you they are glass. I just saw the one you saw in the estate sale. It was definitely a glass shade as was the fireplace screen. If you have a stained glass shop near you, you should take the time to go talk to them. It will benefit your bottom line. Love you

It's very hard dealing with some people these days. Yikes! Exactly the reason others around NEED to see and feel your LIGHT. I have memories of people being kind to me in my youth, especially my bratty years in Jr. High when I least deserved it, and I'm 66 years old now! Those little skunks reminded me of some cows I'd seen recently. Driving through country Victoria here in Australia we drove by some cows with white stripes down their backs. I'm used to seeing black and white cows and the banded Galloway cows (they look like they have bandages wrapped around their middles) but never have I seen the white stripes like skunks! Creation always surprises!

I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but I'd like to correct you on your telling people that the art glass lamps and fireplace screen are plastic. They are NOT plastic. They are glass. Because they are surrounded by lead to hold it all together the glass doesn't "clink". Just ask anyone who works with stained-glass 😘
I'm with you on calling out bad hateful an extremely over priced estate companies. I enjoy going places were the people are friendly an helpful. You know just slightly high prices aren't bad, I know these people have a job to do, an make money for their clients, but they don't have to be nasty to the people who are there to buy things. Hi Danni, I have noticed of late that there are a lot of people with bad attitudes, anger issues, having a sense of entitlement, just a lot of Karens and Kevins. I can’t stand it, but like you, I try to keep my positive attitude, keep a smile on my face, and be nice to everyone. I think it has come with age (I am older than I appear.) I figure if someone wants to have a bug up there breezer, then that is their problem and not mine. Every now and then it gets to me when I run into a Karen or a Kevin but then I just eventually let it go because my energy is too precious to waste on such people.

I’m always nice and if I owned a business I would always greet and thank people for coming in. The garage sale was not any competition… absolutely different items for sale. They helped each other! You are absolutely right, Danni, treat others as you want them to treat you! ❤
I was just telling someone. I really dont give a (bleep) bout who or what in politics anymore. At 65, I been around awhile . Worry more about rearing good, kinder, decent people. They are this worlds tomorrow. And right now many adults are being horrible examples.
At 62 I do give a sh*t about the people we elect to run our country. I want to make damm sure I'm doing everything I can to ensure my kids and grandkids have a world tomorrow. Even if it means selecting the best candidate from a crappy choice of selections.
I love seeing how you set up your tortoises! My Vet's office always asks me about adopting a desert tortoise... and I have a perfect spot for them, but it scares me! It's been so hot here in Phoenix. Canadians have a reputation for being polite but we are not doormats for anyone to walk over us Be nice to us and we will be nice to you, if not you will be sorry. Like I said I really love your show, have you ever been to Canada. I have family in the States and i spent a lot of my youth in North Dakota with my mother's relatives

I also don't like rude people, i went into a record store one time to see if they haf an album my Dad wanted, the 2 workers were laughing at me becsuse of what i asked them for. I appreciate a little garage sale with the advertised estate sale in the same neighborhood. No laws or rules against that! If the estate sale lady was not serving her customers, then she deserves to be called out. Some estate companies need to put out more direction signs from the main road if they are tucked away. I got lost looking for the last estate sale I went to, and I was using my GPS! I kept missing the entrance into the neighborhood because there was not an estate sale sign and the road name was not clearly marked (county/city's fault). My GPS kept telling me to "Make a U-turn." Love it when I see a big sign pointing the direction off the main road and then others guiding me through the neighborhood.
Good on you Danny for calling out that lady who was rude. People need to be accountable for their nastiness, rudeness etc. I’m so happy you are being true to you. Ignore the idiots that are rude to you. I loved seeing all your beloved animals ❤❤❤
I have met you in person, Danni, and you are kind and personable. Your water heater had leaked everywhere that day, yet you took the time to chat with a fan. I'm 79 and previously owned a stained glass. Stop calling these lamp shades. Plastic, they are not. They are wrapped with copperfoil. Which, after the lead is applied, they will feel and sound like plastic, but I assure you they are glass. I just saw the one you saw in the estate sale. It was definitely a glass shade as was the fireplace screen. If you have a stained glass shop near you, you should take the time to go talk to them. It will benefit your bottom line. Love you
Kathleen the ones I'm referring to as plastic are most definitely plastic! They are lightweight and made to mimic glass which is much more expensive.

Danni, IT would only benefit the estate sale…to have a yard sale by them. It’s called 2 for the price of one. It comes with age and wisdom, I have such distane for people that are rude and impatient. Life is too short to waste energy like that, I try to smile at everyone and help where I can it makes my heart feel light. No sweat the small stuff Danni!!!

Those little skunks reminded me of some cows I'd seen recently. Driving through country Victoria here in Australia we drove by some cows with white stripes down their backs. I'm used to seeing black and white cows and the banded Galloway cows (they look like they have bandages wrapped around their middles) but never have I seen the white stripes like skunks! Creation always surprises!

I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but I'd like to correct you on your telling people that the art glass lamps and fireplace screen are plastic. They are NOT plastic. They are glass. Because they are surrounded by lead to hold it all together the glass doesn't "clink". Just ask anyone who works with stained-glass 😘

I'm with you on calling out bad hateful an extremely over priced estate companies. I enjoy going places were the people are friendly an helpful. You know just slightly high prices aren't bad, I know these people have a job to do, an make money for their clients, but they don't have to be nasty to the people who are there to buy things. Hi Danni, I have noticed of late that there are a lot of people with bad attitudes, anger issues, having a sense of entitlement, just a lot of Karens and Kevins. I can’t stand it, but like you, I try to keep my positive attitude, keep a smile on my face, and be nice to everyone. I think it has come with age (I am older than I appear.) I figure if someone wants to have a bug up there breezer, then that is their problem and not mine. Every now and then it gets to me when I run into a Karen or a Kevin but then I just eventually let it go because my energy is too precious to waste on such people.
I met an estate sale company owner like that. So horrible! He ruined my day, but I guess I let him do it! LOL. Good for you for letting people know!

Sometimes people need to know that their attitude and rudeness is unacceptable and may lose business over it… I’ve never stepped back into any business that has treated customers with disrespect! I’m always nice and if I owned a business I would always greet and thank people for coming in. The garage sale was not any competition… absolutely different items for sale. They helped each other! You are absolutely right, Danni, treat others as you want them to treat you! ❤
I was just telling someone. I really dont give a (bleep) bout who or what in politics anymore. At 65, I been around awhile . Worry more about rearing good, kinder, decent people. They are this worlds tomorrow. And right now many adults are being horrible examples.

I love seeing how you set up your tortoises! My Vet's office always asks me about adopting a desert tortoise... and I have a perfect spot for them, but it scares me! It's been so hot here in Phoenix. As for that beast at the estate sale... wow. I'm so sorry one nasty person made you feel so bad. You don't deserve that. They must have a very unhappy life! I'd have called them out, too. Some people have no concept of how 'customer service' works.
Make sure you only get 1 unless you can separate them. Lots of shade and a place to stay well below 100* and they do just fine!
Hi Danni, I love your show. I live in Canada. When it comes to rude people my attitude is if you are rude to me once shame on you, rude to me twice shame on me. Canadians have a reputation for being polite but we are not doormats for anyone to walk over us Be nice to us and we will be nice to you, if not you will be sorry. Like I said I really love your show, have you ever been to Canada. I have family in the States and i spent a lot of my youth in North Dakota with my mother's relatives
