Thanks for taking the time to post this video. You'd be suprised how many pool builders sell this system but have no idea how to operate and maintain it. Cheers!
You clearly have a great understanding of the system, but the video would be much more educational if the controller screen were visible the entire time. Thanks for your effort.
The hard reset finally fixed it. Tried to get on app after a few months and red bar at top said it lost connection to router. Tried resetting the LAN router and home router with no luck. The config showed the antenna was not connected. It probably disconnected after a power outage during winter. After hard reset, everything was connected and just had to re-enter wi-fi password. Thank you!

I don't get it; where do you enter the wifi password? The guy in the video said "you see, that is what it would be doing" and showed the "connecting to bridge" message. He did not show how he finally configured WiFi connection.
Sadly couldn’t see what you’re doing and just wanted the bottomline. Instructions: Press this then press this then press this to reset your WiFi. But thank you for taking the time to try to help.
Most automation control centers have a fuse connected somewhere along the main board. Turn off power to control center, Open up the panel locate the main board and see if you find a fuse. Once fuses located remove fuse and check for it being burnt replace if necessary, Turn power back on to the control center and see if it powers up. Good luck
My system wasn't finding the wireless antenna. I had to do a factory reset on the antenna. You have to remove the cover for the network connections and use a paper clip.
this looks like great information however, your camera is not on the panel half of the time. I don't know anything about this system, and looking at the panel helps me. Your camera is on the bottom on the circuit and not on the LED screen. I cant see what your doing!
I have an ASUS mesh wifi system and the omnilogic would not connect after a severe storm. I powered off the ASUS nodes to force the omnilogic controller to connect to the main router and this worked. So maybe a network issue.
This happens so frequently with mine that I recently purchased an outdoor ethernet cable so I can bypass the wireless connection. I've not tried it yet.
this is a horrible instructional. the camera should be on a tripod pointing to the device's screen, not held by the instructor (which will and certainly does move every which way).
He is doing it to help people for free.. are you a professional UA-cam instructional rater ?? Maybe could have been better but to have the audacity to comment blows me away. Your the same person that goes to an expensive restaurant then complains about the price.
The video is informative I should’ve put that in my original comment, however, I was just offering constructive criticism because it’s hard to see what you’re doing the way the camera is moving and positioned
Yes there is a new current firmware revision out, please ensure your Wi-Fi antenna is compatible with the newest revision before you upgrade the power center main board. Check the Hayward-pool.com website for more information and have your antenna model number and details before you do any updates. Some antennas could also be outdated and can only work with up to certain firmware revisions. For more details you can also contact a Hayward technical support.
Yes this automation system does connect wirelessly. There are in some cases where the connectivity signal gets interrupted, lost, or WiFi router has an issue or loses power, or the automation system firmware has been updated or main box loses power, etc. In these cases, detailed in this video, are some of the things that has to be done to regain signal. Thanks for watching hopefully you subscribed.
Would’ve been great instruction if I could have seen what you were doing or heard you better

Your welcome
The most helpful Hayward video I’ve seen so far! Completely explained step by step how to solve our problem! Thank you!!
Your welcome. Give give give.

Mine says that that ext .antenna is not connected. Power and lights Any recommendations for a fix.
Try a hard reset. Turn off all power to all pool equipment for at least 10min.
This is like an SNL skit....click here....click here...see here...but we can't see what you're doing.
Follow the leader and watch the magic trick
Is there a way to turn the USB back on (bypass OTA)? I have a firmware upgrade that is needed, but it's currently using OTA only and USB is disabled.
I don’t have the correct answer for you. Best to contact Hayward Technical Support
your solution worked - we were told to replace the screen but thankfully watched your video - thanks!!

Where to I find the MSIP number? and What does MSIP mean?
This number is used to access the main internal programming of the software
Typically I’ve seen most initial installers write this number on the inside metal paneling.
Hi, we had a power outage and we not only lost connection but our control pad is blank, help please.

Everything is all checked green and it says good to go. Still says Omni controller lost connection to router on app. Even did the hard reset.
Still can't get the App on my phone connect to the control panel ..
Try deleting the app and re-downloading. If it still can not, contact Technical Support.
Thank you for taking the time to post this video
What do you do if your antenna isn’t connecting
Try resetting the main panel by turning off all the circuit breakers for 5 minutes. Also try resetting the router
@@EliteSwimmingPoolsTV would resetting it make us have to re propgram the lights and filters and stuff

In some cases that would work. All depends on any ones specific issue. Couple of variable things could cause an antenna to not connect.

Maybe listen to what I’m saying and follow along while your at your panel.

The camera work here was terrible. Would be better if you moved slower and blocked the light reflecting on screen
Thank you Director James Cameron.

I think this video would be amazing if I could see the buttons you press while you speak. Thanks for your effort though.
Noted!
It would be great if the camera was actually showing the screen.
For all those out there looking at this video now. Newest firmware is 4.8. Just fyi

I had the notice of connection failure. I just turned the whole thing off and re start and it worked
Thanks saved me time! Fixed it right away.

@@EliteSwimmingPoolsTV I seem to have this problem almost daily - I lose the connection. System/router is now 4 years old - could be the router?
Video would be a lot better if he'd have pointed his camera at the display.
The hard reboot suggested of flipping the breakers off for 5 minutes (after shut down of panel/controller) worked!! Thank you 🙏
Glad it helped!
man the camera work is annoying as heck...dont have a dang clue what youre pressing.. luckily by your words i get what youre trying to do....
