It depends on the length of your hair too. Obviously longer hair will require a little bit extra for the hold. I have extremely thick and wavy hair...so I need a good amount (but the hold should last through the day assuming you don't get it wet. Make sure you do not get the wrong type of pomade. Pomade these days is often synonymous with hair wax or gel even. American Crew pomade won't do the trick. Murry's is reliable and the most popular but there are a few others out there that work well.
dude you have real thick hair like i do, and i was wondering when your doing your pomp do you ever yank out hairs when your combing it? or as your putting the pomade in your hair do you get strands of hair on your palms ? please reply man thanks!
i'm kinda new on pompadours and i wan't to know if brylcreem is a good option, i live in sweden and it's kinda hard to find pomade so should i go for brylcreem? i've been using regular wax for a long time now and i wanna find something new
whats the reccomended way to wash murrays off? ive heard of putting certain stuff in your hair like peanut butter, is that true? or is thee something else?
The one that I used on this video doesn't last me that long, maybe a week if I used it daily since it comes with less than 2oz. Right now I use the ones I have every other day and don't put a lot so they last me a good while.
You don't just choose where you want to part your hair . You should part it according to the natural direction of your hair growth. Just some knowledge if your new to this
@Jimmy89242 Grease is as it says, it's really greasey and slimey, I would recommend Murray's pomade, you can get it at Walmart for like $2 and it's a decent size can I think 3oz, don't use the stuff he showed at the begging, that suave shit is like gel, see how he had an issues combing it through? It got hard as he went, he wasted his money, go with Murray's you won't be disappointed.
Thanks! Very helpful. I get so frustrated when I style my hair. This made it nice and easy!
Haters man!! Let this guy be,he does his hair pretty sick.. Just cuz u guys do it different doesn't mean u gotta judge...DAMN

@hxckeltyn thatnx for the advise man! Murrays pomade does work well!
With a single "tube" of pomade, how much times can you use in your hair?
What do you ask for when you get your hair cut?
Cause my hair was kinda too long and I had to use more :P
I'm making another side parted video soon in the similar way of Don Draper from Mad Men.

is that much pomade really healthy?
What do u tell your barbers?
whats the difference between pomade and grease?
What if your hair is fine, can you still do it?
A Question: How long is your front hair in this Video? :)
