Hi Marie...I'm almost 74 and am the oldest content creator in the beauty community on youtube !! I have close to 25,000 subscribes and find that women of all ages seek me out. My message is that we can be our best at any age and not to fear the aging process....and to be kind in our everyday lives. I am embracing my age and loving every minute of it. I love what you are doing for all of us. xoxo patti (rock star mom) 🎀
Wow; I almost teared up watching this. I'm 24 and was getting really worried that I'm just *wasting* the most important years of my life, when I always imagined I'd be so fabulous at this age. I so needed to see this reminder of women thriving at every age. Thank you!
I can totally relate to how you feel, Nailah! I'm 26, turning 27 in November, and I haven't know what I want to do with my life, and I feel like I've wasted the last 4 years of my 20s because I didn't know what I wanted and so didn't do much of anything. I thought I'd have a solid career/life plan by now and I get stressed thinking about approaching 30! But now I want to try dancing to see if that's what I want to do with my life, and I've been feeling like maybe I'm too old, especially if I end up wanting to do it in any professional capacity. I'm also afraid of completely embarrassing myself or what my friends will think because I've always leaned more towards science-y stuff rather than creative arts. But I'm starting to realise that I'd rather try and not succeed than never try and wonder in 50 years whether I could have made it if I'd only tried.
Same! I always thought that i'll be something at the age of 24 but now, i still don't know what to do with my life and i feel like i always left behind. But, to counter attack these negative thoughts, I believe that I am meant to do something that will give back to the community and I will never stop on creating/doing until I found what's the best for me. Cheers to the women who's still go along the way even facing the uncertainty of life!
Marie you were my first exposure to UA-cam at a time when I didn't fully understand the platform. I am now 58 and just started my UA-cam channel - HealthB4Travel and feeling a little lost in a world of predominantly millenials. Today I reached 100 subscribers and I am pumped for the exciting journey I have ahead of me. Thank you for your video today. Very timely, inspiring and truly motivating.
This video is amazing- so inspirational! At 30, I often feel that I have missed my optimal timeframe, very clearly not the case. I loved the diversity in all of the women's pursuits. Humans are incredible. Thank you for sharing this!
This is so inspiring! It proves that the barriers preventing ourselves from reaching our goals are often nothing more than social constructs and preconceived ideas! Thank you so much Marie!
Wow.. what a powerful and inspiring video! And I always thought I just turned 30 and it's too late to shift my career.. I would like to be a chocolatier and a fashion designer.. you are amazing Marie!! Thanks
Pallavi Pathak the same ( well am a bit older lol 36 and feel old and like it a the end of life 😂😂😂 which is silly but the society makes me feel like if I am not rich at 20 I failed my life 😂😂😂 how ridiculous Wish you all the best on your dreams and goals 🤗 Actually I don't even know what I want to do anymore 😅🤔
Magalie brunelle so true! But every day a dose of such videos make you feel to think and aim high!! And Marie righty said age is just a number! Best of luck magalie..
You are never too old. My body may be 45 yrs old, but my spirit/soul is just getting started. Eternal to be exact! Last year took B-School, I learned how to sing and made my first music video for a song I wrote called "Hawaii". I uploaded it to my UA-cam page and I'm working on song #2. The feedback has been amazing!
This is amazing! I'm turning 60 next month and I can't wait... i'm on the precipice of what is the most exciting phase of my life yet with the launch of my So, do it! Salons + Community for making Sh!t Happen YAHOO!!
I am inspired. I am making a career change and starting a new chapter in my life in the dental field at 50! I was a little apprehensive at first. Thinking I might be too old to start a new career. I absolutely do not feel that way now. Thank you to my friend Jane fo sharing your video with me❣️💋
I ❤ MarieTV!! It's like you read my mind! These women make me so proud and excited to live my life. I constantly feel like time is moving too fast and im running out of time to figure my life out.Even in my late 20s I feel behind and too old to change careers and own my own business and it was through this channel I gained so much more confidence with the info MarieTV gives.
Marie, this video is amazing! Thank you Lynn for bringingup the question, and thank you Marie and Team for this wonderful, inspiring and hopeful video! Please MAKE ANOTHER ONE LIKE THIS ONE!!XXX
Thank you so much Marie. I'm turning 28 in a couple weeks and have been getting a strong desire to go back to school, but have had this nagging voice in the back of my head that I'm "too old" to start something new. These women are all gorgeous and are the great inspiration I need.
Wow Marie. As always, another inspiring video. My grandmother started her PhD at the age of 58 and people were most likely thinking why. Well today she can put Dr. before her name! Thanks for all you do.
Marie, I only found you about a year ago, and all episodes are full of wisdom, and laughs!! I don't comment much on Web sites, but had to for this episode ... It was utterly amazing!!!!!! I have always believed (and teach my daughters who are 2 and 4) that they are not limited by anything. It was so great to actually learn about all these wonderful women doing their thing, and breaking the misconception that aging is a state of decline. Love you girl! You do amazing work.
Thank you so much for this video! I am 40 year old, single mother, expat living in Peru (long story) changing up my career and enjoyed this boost of inspiration! I also appreciate your funky vibe as I am also sassy and funny in my own ways, but at times have thought that given my profession, I need to mold myself into an idea of who that looks like, rather than just flow with what I know. Thank you for all the authenticity you share!
Wow, this is great. I didn't even know about any of these amazing women before watching the video! Which I'm quite surprised by, considering how phenomenal all of them are.
Thank you for this great video, Marie! I want to echo that it is indeed never too late. A few months shy of my 69th birthday, my historical novel, The Tremble of Love: A Novel of the Baal Shem Tov was published last year, and has received review after review describing its inspirational impact on readers' lives. Weighing in at 518 pages, the Tremble of Love is about the power of love to transform our world, featuring a great mystic and teacher of love and the community that surrounds him, including some very badass women (though I do not use that term in the novel. :-) This book was twenty years in the making, while I parented a differently-abled son and ran a business mentoring teen girls and women (now women over 60) to find and free the voices of their hearts. I am about to take the book on the road, while I embark on writing the next, and continue my mentoring work. Admittedly, despite the fulfillment of this longheld dream, I have had my moments of questioning if it is too late: to tour with the book, to write others, to continue to run my business, Dance of the Letters, inspiring other women over 60 to find their voices. So Lynn's question and this video are just the medicine I need. Thank you, again, for your love and zest and generous spirit, Marie!
As always- inspiring, empowering, insightful, encouraging, motivating- thank you Marie! I'm on my 4th or 5th career and a self-proclaimed (loud + proud) late bloomer. Turning 46 next month and just started my 6th career. Every step has had meaning and purpose even when I thought I was floundering around. P.S. Thank you for your consistent sign off at the end of every video. It impacts me every single time. Be blessed!
The perfect message at the perfect time. My name is Lynne and I thought, wow, you were talking to me! I'm mid 50's and have been thinking of starting my own business but have been so hesitant for many reasons. Maybe this is the kick in the butt I needed. Thank you for sharing such inspiring stories of seasoned women who really rock it!
THIIIIIS. I friggen love you Marie and I friggen love Lynn for asking that question. As a forty one yr old woman and meeting the rubber to the road in my own small business ... IT IS SO REFRESHING to hear about these woman going for it. I would LOVE to hear more or their stories. So often we hear stories from the 30's under who are killing it (which is also awesome) but as a woman over 40 I want to hear the other stories from the woman who are older...hear their thoughts and process in it all. SO ..... what about a show on this??!!! Love always 🌺
Several 'wows' and goosebumps later, these women are amazing. Whoop whoop to them and any woman who isn't letting age hold her back, what an incredible source of inspiration xx
Thank you for this amazing list. Feeling a little down after getting bad career news but this was the perfect pick-me-up. Success is the best revenge, and you're never too old for success!
So inspirational! I'm so happy I saw this, makes me feel so much lighter and hopeful. I will turn 50 in a few months and I'd love to have my own business. Love you Marie.
this one is so inspiring - I'm in my mid forties and embarking on a career change. I've been so scared throughout this process, especially that maybe the best years of my life are behind me or that I won't be able to muster up the same the passion for things as I once had. Seeing these ladies in your video is a good reminder that it's never too late and also shows the power of authenticity. Thank you!
I keep coming back to this video for inspiration. My mom is retiring in a month and was feeling lost what she wanted to do now. I need to show it to her.
Great video! I decided to start my career over at age 35, and it’s taken over ten years to reach my goal, but it’s happening! I have a lot of work to do still, but it’s great to hear of people past 30 who are thriving in changed or new careers. I feel like part of my job is simply proving that life isn’t over once you reach a certain age.
Amazing video! It gave me that energy boost as I need to transform my business completely rebrand myself and finally follow my passion 😉 it’s uncomfortable decision but videos like that help! 🙏🏻
I was inspired by women in this video but I have to admit that I am more inspired by the women who wrote comments. Congrats and 🥂 to you all. You are amazing and you gave me what I just needed to kick some ass and take actions. Thank you so much. Seeding you lot of love 💕 and wish the success you dreamed.
Gorgeous hair Ms Forlio. What an amazing way to speak clearly to the point (eloquently).... Your style is fun playful intelligent and enjoyable Just Awesome Is never to late to follow your passion. Think what kind advice would you give to your children and than give it to your self
Hey Marie, thank you so much for this 💕 I really needed an uplift right now. I am 57 and want to start a business but felt like I had missed the boat! Xx
Wow that is so amazingly inspiring 😊 thank you so much for showcasing these awesome women. as a 47 year old just starting my own business it has made me feel all is possible.
Hi Marie. I opened UA-cam trying to find something uplifting to listen while getting dressed and your video came as a blessing. I will soon be 33 and in the last year or so I have been struggling with thoughts like “ I have messed up my life”, “I should have a proper job” , “ my life should have been already sorted with my career in place, earning ok money, a relationship, etc”. I must say I have nothing of this. After finishing a degree in Business Administration in tourism, I never worked in tourism or anything much business related. Moved abroad about 6 years ago when the search for my purpose in life started . At age of 30 I though I have found my purpose and changed career by going to study art therapy and working in a nursery because I wanted to become a children art psychotherapist. End of spring I realised I don’t want to work with children , but I want to work with women to help them heal the wounded inner child. So now I am finishing a transformational coaching course , thinking how to build my practice, how to make it work in a period where there is a lot of pressure on me , and my finances are not something I can rely on to make it happen. I feel like I want to achieve and do so more in this field ( empowering women to be who they were meant to be) , but still I have moments when I need to let go of expectations of who I / others think I should be and keep going with building my dream. Having role models of other females who started at different (late) ages gives me hope. Do you know females who started late with not so much financial support either ?
Thanks so much for tuning in, Andreea-Maria! We're so glad you enjoyed this episode and that it gave you an extra bit of a boost as you continue working toward your dreams of being a coach for women. ADORED this episode!!! And I felt it's too late to start some things because I'm 30... Love love love!
Thank you Marie Forleo. I am working on my bachelor's in history seeking a teaching license. Wanting simultaneously to begin a couple of enterprises...
Marie I hadn't watched you in a while and this was the perfect, perfect video to restart! You made my day- I'm a a mature woman who restarted after leaving academia, I went back to my love- wellness, spirituality and meditation. I'm working locally and online coaching women in meditation and spiritual practices to really get the joy in life. I think so many women in 40's+ focused just on career and are finding the spiritual connection is missing for them. That's my focus to lead women to inner faith, and daily practices for peace in their lives. Ladies watch this video "6 MINS FOR THE NEXT 60 YEARS OF YOUR LIFE - A RANT" by Gary Vanerchuck his energy is different than Marie but it is so motivating on not letting age stop us!
love this Episode Marie, just what I needed in this exact moment to boost my self-confidence in creating my online business. And, by the way, I did the Start the right Business program and loved it. it is really useful and well designed. I highly recommend it!
Hi Marie it's been a while since I watched your video! Your videos are so inspiring and helpful thank u so much! Watching your video became my morning daily routine! Korean Grandma Choi Sun hwa is the person who started senior model in her 70's.
Thank you so much for this video! I'm in my late 20ies. I'm not where I want to be and often feel bad about it (especially, when it comes to fitness) , because generally people say that this time should be prime-time and physically I should be at my climax of strength and beauty and that is definitely not how I feel. It sometimes makes me feel really bad, I can't use this time the way I would like to and it is really good for me at 28. to have older role models showing that there is still so much time to change, also, when it comes to fitness.
My inspiring woman is Dolores Matzen also known as Riskallah Riyad. Riskallah is a Middle Eastern Dance Teacher who I have studied with since 2002 and at 78 is still going strong. She has inspired women and girls of all ages to be the best dancers that they can be no matter what age. Thanks Marie for this video. I needed to see this today. :-) LOVE your message.
Whenever someone tells me I don't look 45, I say thank you. In my mind though I like to remind myself that looks is just that, nothing more. As for dreams, I've always wanted to go back to school.
I m 32 and gonna turn 33..I always wanted to be a model but due to some physical challanges I couldn't.. I was feeling I'm too late and too old for that.. I'm quite inspired.
Very inspiring! I'm taking an online class with IIN to become a health coach. I've had comments like - you're not really an entrepreneur. I'm going to be 56 and love health and wellness. Any tips would be welcomed. 😊

Woohoo!!! So Inspiring!! Thank You! Happy New Year! :)
OMG MARIE! YOUR HAIR IS SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!

So needed. Deep love for this.
Whenever someone tells me I don't look 45, I say thank you. In my mind though I like to remind myself that looks is just that, nothing more. As for dreams, I've always wanted to go back to school.

Very inspiring! I'm taking an online class with IIN to become a health coach. I've had comments like - you're not really an entrepreneur. I'm going to be 56 and love health and wellness. Any tips would be welcomed. 😊
