      My son….a chiropractor always said in relation to high blood pressure stress…have a pet. They lower blood pressure and their ability to spread their love will save you❤️That last sentence is mine. But it’s so true. Of course, only get a pet if you can commit to years of being your personal best and keep them always 😀

      Can you put sources and references to the information you share in the video? It sounds very interesting, but without reference to studies or publications these may well be just your shower thoughts.

      Please what's the video that was supposed to be linked in the description? The one on success plan and not wasting time figuring out what to do in the morning. There are a number of videos in the description and I can't tell

    Undone work causes stress, and thus a feeling of exhaustion. Tiredness from doing work gives a feeling of fulfillment and that is healthy.

    I used to have a list of all my meals for the month posted in the kitchen, this was AWESOME. It saved tons of time and money, plus our health was increased because I made healthy choices. I only bought the food needed to make THOSE meals and I just looked at the list and made it, dinner was always on time. Unfortunately my wife hated being confined to what was on the list and she wanted the freedom to eat whatever she wanted that day if she was "in the mood" for something else. This increased our food bill again, dinner is routinely late, dinner is a source of stress and we have less energy. Yeah, she has really "won" by doing it her way... Not a battle I am willing to die over, just frustrated that sometimes the biggest energy vampire is the person we are married to.

      One tool that can help with that (it worked with my teen daughter) is to make a list of meals for a week (and be sure you do this in consultation with other family members) but don't assign the meals to a specific day! Each day you're going to have one of those meals for the week, but you may not know which one until that afternoon. It gives your wife flexibility but you're only buying the food you need for the week, so you're not running up the grocery bill.

    Making too many “micro-decisions”!!! There are a few other ones that apply to me, but THIS ONE!!! I’ve got 2 kids at home, both on the autism spectrum, and I know I’m doing too much. I have got to make it stop by making better - and fewer - decisions. Thank you, Marie! 🙏🏽❤️

    I definitely suffer from decision fatigue. I cook 2-3 meals on Sundays. I am the type who can eat the same stuff all week. So that’s what I do. I also fast some days and it helps, because I don’t have to worry about food. I put my clothes out the night before. I only drink water, so I always have my filled water bottle with me. I also work from home but have to go out for community visits and meetings sometimes.

    My worst stress causer is my cell phone, since I’m older. I don’t believe I’ll ever get used to the distractions of my phone. I am a very intimate connected person and conversations through txts really stress me. Im from the generation where we made plans for coffee, tea, and we had great times doing this. I’ll never get used to a Merry Christmas wish via txts. You might as well just smack me in the face with the knowledge that I’m not important to you to pick us a phone. A verbal greeting is real to me. That’s the way I and my generation did things and it’s really hard for us

    • @TeamForleo
      @TeamForleo 11 місяців тому

      We appreciate this perspective so very much, Nancy. And to be honest - we could all stand a break from our phones, and connecting in other ways is a great place to start. Thank you so much for sharing this with us! 💖

    • @brightwithspirit
      @brightwithspirit 11 місяців тому

      Yes this new way of communicated sucks and we are more disconnected than ever but it is the new way and if someone text s you Merry Christmas, then you are important to them! Its just the way people communicate these days (unfortunately).BUT.. Be happy and grateful you have people that do think of you in order to even get that text, so many people don't. When you get the text, reply back "Merry Christmas to you too! If you have time to catch up later, let me know, would love to chat" then see if they make time to go further before you get your feelings hurt. xo

      As an introvert I thank God for texting. I always dread having to verbally talk on the phone but now that texting is around I feel a weight has been lifted. I work with animals, people's pets to be exact, and I am one of those who prefer them to people actually. But I love Marie, and always enjoyed her videos, but now I can watch her on utube😊💖...I feel I have the best job in the world and your idea of Thank You in the morning or really at any time of the day is crucial for me and when something great happens I also give credit to the provider of that good fortune and give out with Thank you God💖💖💖

    OMG - that was brilliant about decision fatigue. This morning working from home. I was just getting into some data analysis, and my partner asks me what are we having for tea. I blew up! It was not something that needed to be decided upon there and then, it was like my boundaries of working were crashed in on and I dialled out of my focus. So one thing I didn't know was decision fatigue and I'll make sure I've got a plan for tea (dinner ) so Im not asked at a moment Im really focused. Thanks for the validation
