    Get rid of the ginger peach tea. It has some form of sweetness even if just from the peach. Fasting is water, black coffee, unsweetened tea. Other forms of sugar are still sugar. Hope this helps. Thanks for the info on the machine. I am also learning on my journey as well to reverse T2D. Today at the doctors I lost 13 lbs and my fasting blood sugar was down from 180 to 70. You really have to check the labels on foods and limit intake when not fasting. Also don't forget exercise even just walking or doing easy on a chair exercise. Wishing you luck.

    Hi. My friend who is hardcore keto, always in ketosis (I personally dont get it 🤪) and says beans, except green, fruit, Olives and alcohol are not allowed. She also has PCOS and pre menopausal. No fasting. She's lost just over 80 lbs in 1 1/2 years. Hope this helps you❤

    I stumbled on your video and thought I'd watch for a bit. I, too, am a woman over 40. I tried Keto for about 8 months. What I can say from seeing what you are eating (not that it's bad for an average diet because it's pretty good). However, if you want to get into ketosis you're going to have to get your carbs down. Although chickpeas are yummy and healthy for most, for someone trying to get into ketosis it's not your friend. For a while, you need to get potatoes, chickpeas, apples, etc. out of your diet. Look up foods to eat on Keto and it will help you a lot. The thing you have going for you is you eat meat. I'm a vegetarian so Keto was NOT fun! lol Anyway, limit your carb intake to 20 - 50 g a day. That's it! NO more! Also, get ALL sugar (not natural sweeteners like monkfruit, stevia, etc.) out of your diet. ALL! That includes fruits, yogurt, sweetened milk (like creamers if you use them). I did use Stevia and never had a problem with it affecting whether or not I was in ketosis. Anyway, I can't stress this enough: LIMIT CARBS AND INCREASE ACTIVITY (i.e. walking)! A lot of vegetables and fruits contain a lot of carbs and natural sugar. Get those out of your diet (for a little while). As for the Intermittent Fasting, I would suggest you do that slowly. Start by increasing the time between meals after you wake up. Say you had your last food at 6-7 p.m. When you wake up, try to wait until 10 or 11 and then slowly increase the time. Also, it takes a few days for the body to begin the ketosis process. Don't give up! Keep in mind, too, there is a thing called "Keto Flu". You'll feel rundown, headache, etc. as you begin to get into ketosis. This is normal. Be prepared. It doesn't last long. If it lasts for days on end or a week , call your doctor. The first time I tried to get into ketosis it it took me almost two weeks. I would suggest, too, (highly suggest) that you talk to your doctor or nutritionist about this process to make sure it is what is best for you. This is a long-game situation. Start slow. Make sure your doctor knows what you want to do. Research keto-friendly foods. Write out a menu (at least that's what worked for me because winging it often lead to me eating things I shouldn't). Always remember - YOU'VE GOT THIS! (P.S. I lost over 60 lbs. It works!)

    I do plant-focused diet with fasting. Drink green tea or matcha no sweetener at all not even stevia or monk fruit. Atleast 2 to 3 times a day and ketones should start 16 to 18hrs even with higher carbs! I am 44 and a bigger girl with hysterectomy so I know lol if you need accountability buddy I am here! Praying for your success! 🎉

      I agree. Even if you’re in ketosis they will kick you out of it instantly then you have to start over. I’ve learned the hard way

    Sardine fast 3 days info or veggy+protein, no carb no sugar , plus intermitment fasting, it took for me like 10 days to reach ketosis. Hope that help.

    petato and apples are not advised in a keto diet. to much carbs
