Congratulations on deciding on this RRS. I just picked up a 2018 Range Rover Sport Autobiography Dynamic in Byron Blue. This is my 3rd Range Rover and my second Sport. All fantastic vehicles with marvelous engineering. Having owned both the Sport and the full size L405, I find I prefer the Sport simply because of the size difference. The L405 simply is significantly larger and handles differently enough for me to want to go back to the Sport.
Another very thorough review! My 2018 Cadillac Escalade has very cooled seats, which comes in handy in the hot Summers in Smyrna, GA. You deserve more subscribers.

Great review. This helps me with my decision. I've had a 2010 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Laramie with every option available (Heated & Cooled seats, Heated Steering Wheel, Great Infotainment system for 2010 & still nice today, custom Cover for bed, full leather, etc...). Just super nice & have loved it the past 13+ years! Full lifetime warranty with $100 deductible as well, so ill keep it forever. No reason to sell.
That said, i want a second FUN vehicle! Been renting these Rovers & Escalades through TURO wherever i travel. I have the option of renting whatever i want, but these are the two i like most for whatever reason. Yes i hear all the reliability stories & gas expenditures blah blah blah blah....
But I'm getting a second vehicle that i ENJOY, period. Ill pay the extra in gas, maintenance, etc. I want fun performance & love the look of the Rovers & Escalades! Just drove a 2016 SVR & a 2019 SVR (both low miles). Loved both! But the 2016 Infotainment system a bit dated.
Test driving a 2019 Supercharged V8 Dynamic Autobiography this week. Curious to see the difference between that and the SVR.
The 2016 SVR is almost to loud with the crackling. Sounds great, but almost too much. The 2019 seemed a little bit more refined. But i did like how you can control the exhaust notes ;-)

Awesome review as always! I am shopping for a used x5 or a Q8 and I almost decided to get a Q8/SQ8 as I'm not the biggest fan of the G05 design and the Q8 is just soo beautiful and I love the interior, but now that I saw your review, I'm really considering the RR! There are a few good deals near me and I'll for sure test drive them too before I decide which one to go for.
I highly recommend you check one one those out. Even the SVR model!
I am in almost the same situation here in Munich. Got the X5, great car and everything but wanna change it. Want to try something new something no everyone is driving. Love the RR sport. But there is 1 car which stands out from all SUVs (and which I owned before) and combines all features like safety, sexy ness, luxury etc (of course almost no one beats RR in off road maybe except Nissan, Toyota and such) my choice will probably be again the VOLVO XC90!!!!

Question I have been looking for a Diesel SUV for my family and I see a lot of BMW, BENZ, JAG, AUDI, VOLVO Diesel Suv's and Wagons and Sedans, but Ranger Rover and Land Rover have a history of unreliability also their Diesel are the cheapest cost wise but long ownership is the question. I just want to know what brand you know about that has proven reliability out of the few that I have listed.
Awesome ride. Enjoy your rover brother. They are amazing cars especially in terms of luxury, comfort and offroading capability. Land Rover's multi terrain system is the best in the world. Only problem to what it can do is the tires and height aftermarket mods like in jeeps. You can do crazy shit with that car while at the same time it cuddles and relaxes your family when doing road trips. Towing capacity is worthy too.

37:32 are you able to see the 360 (bird's eye view) cam when you put it into reverse?
It’s configurable in the settings where you can have the 360 view along side the rear view in reverse but it’s a small image.
@eddiemcars try in cam settings I like to drive with 3D model and reverse cam while driving (2016 SVR)

I have a 2018 supercharged and I’m keeping it forever. The Jaguar engine has a sound that can’t be beat. The new range rovers use a bmw motor. No thanks. English car needs an English Jaguar engine! How dare they use bmw !!!
