My mom paid a friend to make the blanket for me because it was something my mom found complicated for her crochet skills and she can’t read patterns. She gave it to me for Christmas one year. Now I am here to make the pillow but I want to make it into a purse also. I love the blanket and leave it out all year.
Every time I watch you do a pattern I don't think I can do, you make it so easy to follow...Thank you so much for all your time and effort ...I am certainly grateful.
I made the blanket, with your help for my daughter last Christmas! She loves it!! Now, the matching pillows will be an added touch! Thank you so much Mikey! Love these! 🤗🤗🤗
About halfway through the front side and it's working up well! Had to restart once to get the hang on it, but now it's going smoothly. I didn't bother with weaving the starting ends in, because they weren't in the way and will be on the inside of the pillow. Thanks for the tutorial! 😊
Thanks Mikey! I have made these before but it’s been a few years and I wanted 2 for myself but I’m old and couldn’t figure out the pattern! You are awesome!
Thank you for this awesome tutorial. Your tutorial for the blanket was very helpful also. I calculated how much yarn I needed at the store but still managed to run low on the red for the 16 in pillow so I’m glad you showed how to make it smaller. Thank you so much ❤
Thank you! Thank you! I struggled with this pattern after inserting the pillow. Frogged it back to start of decreasing. Can’t wait to finish it now with your help!
I have wanted to make this for years. Each time I looked at the pattern it was no happening. Not this year, I will be making a few of them for gifts. Thank you for your time, your sharing, and just being you!
I have been looking for a pattern to make a peppermint purse. I could not for the life of me get a spiral tornado to come out right. This tutorial really helped it was a lot less frustrating for me to crochet. I appreciate the video and written instructions included. 🙏🏼
I absolutely love this pillow! It makes my fingers itch for a hook & yarn! But alas I’m making blankets for pet shelters. I haven’t made any since before Covid. Luckily I have about 100 started. I can finish pretty quickly. Thanks guys (I need to make the great Peppermint candy blanket-can’t remember actual title!
Thanks for the fantastic video instructions! My pillow turned out perfect, just like all the other video instructions you have made of other various projects.
This is THE BEST EVER❤I only wish I had all the supplies to make it with.🥺kind Sir, you are The Best of all crochet videos I see. You are patient and speak very clearly in your tutorials. Your also the most creative. I love the way I've seen you implement your ideas in so many of these designs. 💐
Love it!! Will definitely give it a try. Thank you for sharing!❤. By the way, I love your tutorials, I have learned alot just by watching your tutorials. 🥰
I made this throw and pillow back in 2014... I still have it. I did purple and varigated yarn. The whole thing was so frustrating to make, I keep it stored away so nothing bad can happen to it! LOL
At first it seems confusing but once you wrap your brain around it, it’s easy. I’ve saved it so I can do this later. I’ve got 4 blankets in progress right now. Lol no pressure💖
Thanks Mikey! I have made these before but it’s been a few years and I wanted 2 for myself but I’m old and couldn’t figure out the pattern! You are awesome!
Im sorry. The designer appears to have written pattern for both the blanket and pillow together as a combo set. Let me try to find a similar pillow to get an idea.

It is a beautiful Christmas Pillow. Thank you for keeping in the mistakes and showing how to fix them instead of frogging. Keep safe and healthy.
Thanks, Mikey! I couldn’t have done it without you! Mine’s going on my front porch for Christmas candy decor.

Hi
Wow!! Long live King Mikey!!
Excelent vedio, fabulous instructor.
Beautiful thank you for sharing ❤
Now that's a party favor! Yum
Did the throw so I need do this to thank you
Thank you 😄so nice 👍😊😊😊
How much yarn do you need to make this?
I'm wanting to make a queen/king size afghan for a bed. Approximately how many motifs and octagon do I need?
I’m doing the peppermint throw but I’m unsure how to make it larger. I’m adding more circles motifs so hopefully it works
Yes, that's exactly how you do it. Add more squares and octagons.
Would you happen to have the pattern for the peppermint swirl throw?
What kind of yarn weight do you use for this project?

I want the pillows and blanket. How much yarn shoud I buy? You said Red Heart With Love, (I want Holly Berry and White 😊). What size hook did you use?
So I read the pattern and it says 10 white and six red. Is this enough for both the blanket and the pillow?
Where do you get your darning needle
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Thanks Mikey! I have made these before but it’s been a few years and I wanted 2 for myself but I’m old and couldn’t figure out the pattern! You are awesome!
How much yarn is needed to make just the pillow?
Im sorry. The designer appears to have written pattern for both the blanket and pillow together as a combo set. Let me try to find a similar pillow to get an idea.
I'm guessing one ball per colour. Maybe a bit of a second.
