Wow! Thank you so much! Making crocheted snowflakes has always been something my grandma did for everyone in the family. She just made me, probably my last set :(, at 93 years old. I decided to try it out, to carry on her legacy, and I did it! I can't believe I just whipped one up in minutes. Thank you! Thank you! Wait until she sees it! ♥

Just wanted to add for people, if you do this project with acrylic yarn, it should be blocked with steam, this makes it permanent for acrylic yarn :) steaming it gently by hovering your iron above it, pat it softly to make stuff go in place and let it lay for 24 hours !
Great tutorial, I used this and it's amazing! thank you so much for your effort and easy to understand terminology!

So, this is the first time I have ever crochet anything in my life! I had to keep scrolling back and also had to go to a tutorial about double crochet but I actually did it! I’m so pleased 😀 I made a few mistakes but if I asked anyone what they thought it was I would expect them to say ‘a snowflake ❄️!’ I’ve always wanted to crochet but been so scared with big projects like a throw or blanket so never got started. Finally managed your lovely snowflake design a few days before my 60th birthday!!! Thank you so much for the way you presented this tutorial, I’ll be looking at more once I’ve mastered the snowflake ❤

Now with your simple snowflake instruction. I can make my family and ornaments for Christmas. Thank you.

You are so cute ... And your videos are the best anywhere: concise, clear and informative without excess chit-chat. It's my favorite snowflake it's really quite easy, when you finish the last picot in the set you kinda need to pull the bit you're finished with to get right into the first dc of the 4cluster to do the sl s across to the next space, it helps to make the "icy" clusters of picots stand out. Then when finished a little pulling to shape it, perfect! 🧶

I tried a bunch of different snowflake patterns, and this one is the BEST as well as being one of the easiest! The slip stitches in round 3 across the double crochets add structure and rigidity, so that even if you don't block or stiffen it, the snowflake keeps its shape beautifully! Very clever design!

This is a great and easy tutorial to follow. If I was just a bit faster, I wouldn't even have to pause the video to keep up, mostly. I'm so sharing this with my grandmother.

Your explanations are very clear and concise and the close ups you do on your work are very helpful. I've made these for family and friends for past Christmas gifts and now I'm back to commit it to memory so I can teach my Nana. She asks me to every time I see her!

Out of all the video's about crocheted snowflakes I just love this one the best!!! I tried making 3 other snowflakes and I found myself going back to this one. I'm using Vanna White's Vanna's Glamour, Lion Brand, the color is Diamond,a small white strand yarn with silver thread running through it. It makes beautiful sparkley snowflakes. I'm going to make some in the Platinum color also. I bought the yarn at Joann's for $5.99,it was not on sale. I'm going to make lots of them and sale them at our Craft Fair in Nov. Thank you...love your video's

Hi Chandi, thank you, thank you, thank you! This is the best snowflake pattern I’ve found. I plan to make a bunch from some left over sparkle yarn and send them as Christmas gifts in my Christmas cards. The yarn is acrylic so I’m going to try the steam method to block. I used a 2.75 size hook and it’s such a cute size flake. Thanks again for another great pattern. Blessings to you for all you do for us fiber crafters out here.

What a brilliant tutorial! Thank you. I'm a beginner but found this tutorial clear, concise and easy to follow. I've now made two and slightly addicted now. I shall be making a whole load of these as Xmas gifts this year. This is the first time I've actually been able to make a magic circle. You made it so easy! X
