I’d love to hear your thoughts! Which attachment style do you identify with, and have you ever felt it was a barrier in a relationship? Do you think your attachment style changes over time or with different people? Share in the comments, and let’s keep the conversation going 💜
I think I identify with disorganized attrachment style! Even with the same person I now see myself going from extremely anxious to extremely avoidant. Is this even possible??? It feels kinda.. well, disorganized! But seriously this episode helped me understand more about myself and hearing about different attachment styles separately made me realise how much ambivalence (like you said) is in me and my actions. Great episode, thank you for this and glad to see you back!
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! I’m glad the episode resonated with you. About your question, yes! It’s definitely possible to shift between anxious and avoidant behaviors, especially in the context of disorganised attachment. That ambivalence and unpredictability can feel confusing but recognising these patterns is a huge step towards healing ✨💜
