It's sad to see all of those white people just sitting still and not motorvativng over the beat. Kind of shows how deep racism runs in the US of of A. It's just disgusting. p.s., did Jimi Hendrix see this?

@J KyRei Slaughter this is Belgium not the US. We are laid back people and pretty kept to ourselves. Put a few beers in us and watch us year a place down. Edit: people stood up at the end enough said.
How is the audience just sitting there like that, stone faced and silent completely devoid of any kind of emotion ? This is perhaps the most exciting music ever made and they were lucky enough to witness it first hand with Chuck at his best. I start rocking and can't sit still the moment he starts singing and playing.
Because the culture was a little different back then. This is considered to be the birth of Rock n Roll after taking the best of other genres and wrapping them together to form this masterpiece.
Unbelievable ! Musicians aren't racist but that crowd look embarressed to start stomping -Chuck is giving those homies a lesson in how to Rock n Roll 🤘
This right hear, is whatcha call, "systemic racisim" back in the mid-fifties and beyond. LOL This TV studio back up band cooks, and Chuck was a-rockin'!
Props to the drummer during this entire performance for staying in the pocket despite Chuck’s chaos.
It’s got a back beat, you can’t lose it. - Chuck Berry

Yes sir and he did that 10 years earlier.
Spot on. Just makes my blood rush when he plays like that.. Absolutely terrific. Master craftsman in complete control of his instrument,.
Chuck revolutionized dancing while playing guitar.

Way back in the late 80's they did the same with an even bigger and longer lasting hit: The Jupiter Symphony. Look it up and you'll agree.
