First time I ever came across this singer and her version of the Shoop Shooop song -- the finest voice imo.
What's the deal with white teens in the 1950's and 60's unable to clap in time to the music. Geez. It's shown on every TV show performance! LOL
Queen Brenda
Fantastic singer....
Brenda Lee is simply awesome!! 😂
Ok, Mr Cory. You are a saint and a better example unless you've changed
thats a rock n roll mama
Adam's generation❤
Brenda was on American Bandstand singing this when she was 15. Janis Joplin scream her voice out while trying to imitate Lee who always protected her voice.
Nice song.
Someone said they liked my comment about me in my 70s and my boyfriend. I felt it was just a reminder that "sweet nothing's" is not restricted to age. My comment about turning off the light was sung that it was "mama"who turned off the lights was misunderstood. Both of our "mamas" have passed on to that big jukebox in the sky. I don't respond to other comments because we are both very shy.
Muito boa a música para 2024 e 2025
I am over 70 yrs old. My boyfriend is over 65yo. We not understand this song, but delight in what it says. "Tell me things nobody else, secret baby, I keep it to myself". Sweet nothing's , oh sweet nothing's. It doesn't grow old if mama can't turn off the light. 2:24
Perhaps you were the one who gave a good comment on what I said. Young people have so much technical paths, the most closest things that might so much are disappearing. That is something they never knew they missed. It allows couples to get close on a one to one basis. That is a rare and special thing. God bless you and the two of you enjoy candle light, baked cookies, and sharing moments with friends and family. Real time may be irrelevant to young people but we older people know how precious it is.
What a joy. to listen to .
Brenda is so cute with the way she sings this. You right away hear that she's good singer, and then crack up at her singing breaking occasionally into this little toughie character!
Tragedy is that her own people swindled and cheated her out of all her recording money........
Incredible voice 👏 ❤
I love her!❤❤❤❤
I Love her....its the Growling that does it.
