Ever looked into the Department of boost Intercooler setup? Big lines, CWA400 big pump and huge h/e. Probably not worth it if your system works, but he has a ton of documentation on the topic. Good luck! Car is bad ass

I did, i used alot of his info and talked to him. Their stuff however was better but i didnt want to run 1 inch lines and thats where his stuff shines. Really though i was trying to keep engine costs down since the 3v days are probably numbered. :(

Awesome to see this car back in action! It will be great to see some more 3V action at gridlife.

So what kind of temps did you see at RA, and where are they relative to what you consider 'normal'? I'm going to have to cut up my hood and put the bigger center vent in (I presume) and make better air channeling in the front clip to the heat exchangers. RA has those long full throttle straights and I would think build up a lot of heat. Was RA any higher than usual? At my test track COTA, oil creeps past 280, trans creeps past 240, diff gets to 235ish. And this is with a stock powerplant not putting out the heat yours does. Gotta get that oil temp down but was trying to avoid the huge vents, they seem inevitable. (I have the grill opened up and the trackspec bolt in hood vents on my 14.)

Hello, you can see all my temp gauges in the newest video I just published which was at road america. Oil is the blue gauge. The dial gauge is oil pressure. Both are taken at the Oil tstat which isn't a great location but oh well. I send my oil in for analysis and has come back good so far. I do change it out at 6 months or 3 track days. Which is excessive. The cell phone is iat2 for the supercharger. Oil and engine temp has never really been a problem. Probably the giant mishimoto rad, 7 blade gt500 fan with bypass and the mishimoto oil cooler, along with obvs the gt4 style hoodvents which as you suspect do most of the cooling. They are a pain as I have to cover them when the car sits outside. Everything can get wet under but it probably isn't good long term. If I had a hybrid car I'd just buy a carbon fiber hood, put the hood vents in that and bolt it on during the race season. Then switch if you go awhile without racing it. So for the trans I have issues there that the air scoop seemed to help. Though I heard it messes with airflow so I'll probably switch to a pump and small rad. The scoop does take like 10mins to install though, was cheap so it might be a decent compromise to aerodynamics and engine cooling.
