To me it is not that loud, other fans are louder than the GPU fans, but when the GPU gets really hot and fans spin faster the noise becomes louder than other fans. But it is not that annoying (to me), it may be different to you. In addition the case is closed usually which makes the system more quite. BUT THIS IS NOT A SILENT CARD. My older GTX 1060 GAMING X is much more quite than this one.

In my case I see 10 C more on the RTX, other people reported to me that they get cooler temps on the RTX 3070 than what I am getting (see comments of other videos), But this depends on number of fans in the case, how fast fans are spinning, how they are setup, room temp, and other parameters. On my other videos and comments I explained this and other important things, I also have a video showing RTX 3070 vs GTX 1060 Gaming X, there you can see temps, fps, CPU usage and more tested in different resolution...
np. Just a quick update. I inserted back my old MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X and launched the same game, and played. The Gaming X is much more quieter (at 99% GPU usage). I hear almost nothing compared to the MSI RTX 3070 VENTUS 2X OC. and the temp is also cooler.
@@trax2587 Not surprising, the GTX 1060 is a much weaker and smaller chip that uses way less power and does not get nearly as hot and thus does not need as much cooling from fans etc..

gigabyte vision oc here my 3070 is next to silent whenever i play any games recently upgraded from an msi 2060s and what i can say is that its louder than a ps4 pro and you actually get to experience what its like at a airport
I think it will only be slightly distracting at most if the case is right next to you, ear level. If on the ground the fan sound should not be a nuisance even at high load. Unless there's like loud rattling and what not then that's a different story

I went from a RTX 2060 Zotac Twin Edge to a RTX 3070 Gainward Phoenix instead of this MSI Ventus 2X OC. I thought having 3 fans would be the best choice, but one thing I didn't noticed before, it's the fan size. The fans from my 3070 compared to my old 2060 its waay smaller and playing games, it's too noisy. Usually I'd make my GPU running below 70ºC using 100% fan speed, but for this new card, I'm struggling to make it run under 75ºC with less than 70% of fans due to the noise.
I've got this card too but I've noticed a bug when you're playing local video (it's only for local video not streaming) it seems that hadware acceleration is not working properly, I don't know how to describe it but it's like the video is "shaking" each time the video player's overlay appear and disapear (black band on right or on left), do you have the same problem with yours?
Not sure if I understood correctly. When you play a video that is locally stored in your hard disk (not from UA-cam or another streaming website) the frame around the video shakes? I don't think this happened to me. I have recorded and played back many videos, but I noticed nothing weird.
@@trax2587 Forget about that I tried some parameters, it turns out that for waterver reason my TV was using a weird "V full" 4096x2160 instead of 3840x2160p but my TV is UHD not 4k, I guess it was constantly downscaling the image from 4k to UHD and the 3070 have a problem with that (even if my 1070 doesn't have this problem doing the same shit) but that was a really stupid case so not a big issue.

No, they are not always on. They turn on at a specific temp, you can make it stay on if you want or make it spin slower/faster by changing some settings for example using MSI afterburner or similar application.
I am very happy with my 3060Ti Ventus cooling for what it is. Drowns in my "quiet PC" noise. But i have some issues. First piece died on me, second piece (mabye drivers) triggers random restarts in desktop/browser.
I bought the RTX 3060 TI, but the Zotac version this time as I already have the MSI Ventus (3070). I had no problems with any of them, but the MSI gave me higher temps, I believe its because it's the 3070 which consumes more power than the 3060 TI, but yeah, the MSI Ventus should be good, so no worries. By the way, I made a video noise testing the 3060 TI Zotac too.
@@anandharsh i mean stopped working. Faulty piece. Bad luck, this stuff happens. Second piece works fine so far. Those random restarts are probably driver issues. The heatsink is very OK for normal usage, but is little unsufficient for zero-fan. Heats up slowly to 60 degrees...

Mine maxes out at 66 degrees. The 3000 series cards are amazing for undervolting. U lose like 3 fps performance for a decrease of more than 10 degrees celcius.
@@Nurjanah72Akbar I bought mine for €540. It's a great card. Got it undervolted to 1875 MHz frequency at 862 mV voltage and it doesn't get above 66 degrees when playing games. It's nice to have a small card, since it fits in most PC cases.
My evga xc3 3070 has 3 fans and makes no noise at all and doesnt touch the 70 degree mark. I really think all 3070 s should have 3 fans. These cards are too powerful for 2 fans its basically a 2080 ti
@@GokhhanKoc Who wouldn't? It all comes down to the price if your willing to spend 150-200$ more for a quieter setup. Also, not all cases can accommodate the 3 fans so yet again the price goes up if you don't already have one.

For the msrp of this model its not too bad... But compared to some of the higher end coolers it is actualy kinda loud. Which is why those tests exist. (In comparison, my 3090 (which has more cores, more vram, more PCB leads and uses more power, so produces more overall heat at any given time) is cooler and more quiet than the card in this video.)

15C room temperature wow! I don't think you will ever have temp issues as the PC pull cool air from your surroundings. Heat is the biggest enemy!

Yes would fry a 2080 ti with this cooling setup but keep in mind the 3070 is way more efficient so theres less heat
