Do fallen order
For those who don t like the sound of a taking off plane u can cap fps to 60 or your monitor to 60hz and activate v sync .
honestly it very quiet
and i think now im completely sold on getting it ;D
thx for making this, definitely gave me more info on it
i have a 3070ti trinity oc and i can confirm the fans sound the same with that weird sound at max load. I have undervolted the card so the fans dont have to ramp up high enough to make the sound
Holy hell, I’ve been having this issue with my 3060 ti from msi for a while now, I’m so glad to know it’s not just mine!!!
What’s the issue I have the same card. Is it that the fans make a wired noise
that's not an issue bro, it's pretty quiet
What is your opinion? If you are at a meter, meter and a half, is it heard loud? looking at your video I lose the dimension of the sound. Is it annoying or normal? thanks!
What do you want?
Burned and ruined gpu and motherboard or
A little louder than usual good running gpu?
HI. Can you tell temperatures on idle. Because mine one on idle has 50 degree and fans doesn't work at all. Just starts spinning when I do gaming and temp pretty good around 62-68.
Thanks
is it too much annoying, or just a little? do you hear the sound with headphones? Thanks
I was playing COD Vanguard last night and it got quite loud lol. But not so loud that it can't be covered up by the games audio through a good pair of stereo monitors or better yet headphones.
I bought a 3060TI Gainward Ghost about 5~6 months ago and i am a bit disapointed with the noise levels. I'ts start do get really annoying when it goes to 60+ fan speed. I am using MSI Afterburner to monitor and control. Some games make it reach 75~80 fan speed and it goes very loud. Is it normal? I can easily hear the fans with my headphones and the game sound in the background.
Sometimes i try to control myself and let the temp goes to 85c max, to keep the fans a bit quieter, but i didn't want to need to do this and i am a little worried with that.
is it just me or there's a grinding noise when it's coming back from full load at around 5:38 ? Mine's the same card (OC version) and it makes that noise too at around 85% speed (2400-2450-ish RPM) and it's just really annoying
Whatis the sound on 5:27 and 5:46 like click? Is it plastic on videocard? Is it normal, because I have the same sound but not every time when I back from game to normal using.
How much db ?
How many rpm ?
The metric is missing..
any solution for this noise? can you reduce it by not raising the temperature too much in games?
hey, i have the same gpu and it makes a weird cracking/rattling sound.
can you help me find out what this it?
Hello @TraX it has not 0 % fan under 60 degrees ?
5:00 Plane taking off!!!
HI. Can you tell me how did you turn off the light of you'r zotac pls. i don't found how. thx a lot and ty for the videos
Just use Zotac firestorm or EVGA precision. Google search my guy.
I intend to buy a 3060 ti zotac... did you fix this problem in the current version GDDR6X?
which one are you playing on 1080p, 1440p or 4k?
Thanks for taking the time to do this test. Do you know what the fan RPM is in game? BTW if you want to reduce noise it should be possible to undervolt the card a little and it will produce less heat while holding the same performance in game. The default fan curve is also extremely aggressive. You don't need to keep this card below 70c, under 75c would not cause any issues.
I don't know why I didn't include fan speed in the benchmark, but I just tested again now (case closed). When game started, temp was about 60 degrees and fan speed was at about 1400 RPM, however as I kept on playing, and the temps kept on increasing, fan RPM increased continuesly. After about 10 minutes of playing the temp maxed out at 73 degrees (though I saw 74 for a sec) the fan RPM was at over 2600. In this video I had case open, thus temps maxed out at about 69, but when I tested again, I had the case closed. You may not get such high temps as me, because I do have "4 fans" but the front facing fans are CPU cooling and are always spinning at low RPM, I could increase their RPM but I choose not to, so my cooling depends on the two smaller fans one at the back and one at the top. Yea undervolting is known, might do a video comparison of the normal vs undervolting to see the temps and hear the noise difference as well as the performance. But in this video I was just testing the "default Zotac card", anyway thanks for the advice:)
@@trax2587 Thanks for the info again, very helpful. Usually when fans go over 2000 RPM I find it annoying but it's very subjective and some may be fine with it. Zotac cards come into stock more frequently in my area but I will wait for a 3 fan 3060ti with a larger heatsink. Performance will be the same but it will make less noise.
@@trax2587 I ordered the same graphic card and i tested but i am not satisfied because under load the fans are very loud you can control them on MSI after Burner (Fan control ,speed) anyway i sent the graphic card RMA to get refund its really terrible RPM of the fans
@@dragontnnl9652 same its like a jet engine but more annoying is the oscillations and whine that seem to come with them too. Poor effort from zotac.
@@trax2587 hey, thanks for the video.. having this card with OC version, and the noise uit makes is a bit loud. was the Undervoltage helping? or any other solutions?
I have no idea if that's loud or quiet
Does this card have better temperature and fan noise the the Msi Ventus 2x Oc ver? Just asking cuz I'm currently deciding between the two
On my MSI 3070 I hit 75, I hit almost same temps with the Zotac 3060 Ti (73 - 75),. However, here I am talking 3070 vs 3060 Ti, where 3070 consumes higher voltage. I can't say MSI is the winner, as I have to compare 3060 TI to another 3060 TI to be 100% sure.
@@mal3k_xd I think all dual fans are loud nowadays. At least my 2060 asus dual is.
I wonder if 3090s are louder than this. I have one and it's a jet engine. I'm thinking of downgrading to a 3060ti just to not hear it.
Bruh, the microphone is literally at 1mm from the fan
@@chesihobus7515 this is not a 3090 bruh
I looked around a while i got that card off a spare parts shelf and it was hot/loud. I repasted it and now it is nice when 0.825v and 1850mhz and olay at 0.95 and 1950mhz.
i have the same gpu just how we can switch light on ?
I believe it does not have lights..
it doss have, zotac gaming should be lightened up
@@cosminpopica Only the OC version.
what game was in the video
Is this bad? I’m new to the pc gaming world and come from an Xbox one x which is pretty loud and I got used to that.
Not bad, just loud.
Does the oc version have quieter fan?
Nope is the answer to my question, if anyone was wondering.
I want to buy 3070 of this brand. Is he too loud about sound? Is it a durable brand in terms of quality and life other than sound?
This is the first time I buy a Zotac card, just wanted to try it for the first time, I have always had MSI cards, which I like a lot. So far it has been working well, but it is a bit louder maybe than other cards I had, but I am not 100% sure because its hard to compare really, but if you have headset on and case closed it should be good enough, but NOT silent, like my other MSI Gaming X card. Honestly I like MSI cards. As for durability, I don't know how durable it is, I only had it for about a week, but they give 36 month warranty I believe, so it should last at least 3 years?
@@trax2587 the Twin Edge is more of an Budget Design compared to a gaming x Card which is on the higher end.
Tldr for the zotac Card is: it gets Job done but dont expect a silent card for a lower end design
Just buy the founder's edition....way quieter
If you want to get a zotac low temps and noise, just undervolt the card and use a ventilation curve
Zotac 3060 twin edge oc vs Msi Gaming x 3060 which one should i buy??
Hows the card rn?
Do any of the LEDs light up? or is that only in the OC edition
No LEDs in this card as far as I know (unless there is something wrong with the one I got, which I don't think is the case)
yupp..OC edition have white Leds light up
@@kresnaselat7987 does the geforce rtx light up or is it just the zotac gaming?
@@penapickle Only the zotac gaming
@@naisucc5914 wow they really just slapped a sticker on there
Really like the design and length of this card, however it's most appealing factor (length) for compact SSF builds is made mostly redundant by the height of 140mm. Such a shame as this reduces compatibility with most popular SFF cases. My bad, the 3060 Ti around 110-20mm, it's the 3070 that's 140mm. 3060 Ti is golden and my new personal card.
i am using it and it is a little bit noisy when 70% fan speed , not like in this video
Well, its hard to compare a video to real world, but In this video case was open, and I don't think your case is open all the time so it should sound louder than in real life maybe.
Mine is spinning crazy when idke
Exactly the reason I'm returning mine!
In my opinion, its loud at full load, but I think the MSI Ventus 2x OC (3070) which I made a noise test video about in my channel too is a bit better, though it still not the best. But My MSI Gaming X (1060) Beats both of them by far...Its is so silent and cool. However, I don't know if its worth paying extra for an MSI RTX 3060 TI Gaming X, unless one really really cares about noise (and wants to overclock heavily).
@@trax2587 The 1060 pushes 120 watts, while the 3060ti pushes 200.
@@SibaNL I know, but the point is the MSI gaming X usually has better coolers and is more silent be it 1060, 3060 TI, 3070 or other, thats why they are more expensive
Can I buy it off you
@@trax2587 well my 3070 ventus 2x is loud as hell. i had to put the pc behind the desk and cover it with a special soundproof material to be able to play games without hearing too much noise. And still im hearing the pc expecially when fans are working at above 80% and temps are almost 80 degrees. Im going to sell it and buy with 3 fans. But not now.
i just brought it 4 weeks ago, here to answer question
1. when does it get loud
answer: only when the temperature rises thats when the fans get loud as they spin faster, like when playing game
2. is it loud when u not playing game
answer: yes but it sounds more like a normal fan next to u.
3. can you hear it with headset on
answer: yes but u eventually get used to it and u never notice it when u watching or playing game although depending on ur mic others may be able to hear
4.how loud does it get?
answer: honestly really loud but thats the same for all the other fan u may have on your pc, if your pc temperatures rises too much
5. is there a way to reduce the noise?
answer: yes, you can use the app they provide (zotac firestorm app) to have fan speed running at specific speed no matter what the tempreture which should stop it from going louder when u playing. HOWEVER, not recommended as the longer u play the more hotter ur graphic card will get, remember these are some powerful graphics card. although feel free to watch youtube video on how to use firestorm effectively
overall, i only notice the noise when i don't have any thing audio wise on, but again this depends on what type of headset u have as am using razer blackshark v2pro.
but seriously personally its not a big deal i only notice it from time to time not often
Do the fans run on the desktop?
They are always on as far as I know.
@@bebini1339 Hmm, interesting, it's not like that on mine, maybe I have bad temps...

@@naisucc5914 i got the same card its more like high pitched than loud i dont really have issues cuz i have my ceiling fans on 24/7 so i cant really tell
Nice what was the max temp?
I believe I saw a max of 69 degrees in this video. This is only when case was open. But when I tested while case was closed I saw 73 degrees. You may not get such high temps as me, because I do have "4 fans" but the front facing fans are CPU cooling and are always spinning at low RPM. I will test many other games and upload, the first one will be Cyber Punk which will be uploaded today or tomorrow.

I have this card, my.god can it get loud. The secret is to undervolt it and create a custom fan curve. However, at idle the fans are not supposed to spin because the system is doing nothing basically.
can you give me your settings for undervolt and curve fan?
The Non OC version of this card does not have the 0 fan speed (fanstop) only the OC version has fanstop idk why tho
Had this card for 4 months, hated it, loud, hot, the clock speeds die, undervolted it, still 76C at 85% fan speed, sold it and bought a better cooled card, honestly crazy how ZOTAC does not give a fuck and just puts a 3050 cooler on a 200 W card ... Zotac never again.
I have 3060 ti zotac and I'm not very satisfied I wish I bought asus dual
Just return it if you think its not good.
This graphics card from Zotac is really loud, and temp in 4K get 88 degree, I dont recommend it. Another card like Msi is much better ! see my videos !
Bro this has to be at 100 percent fan speed there’s no way it’s that loud mine dosent sound that loud
is yours at full load? 100%? and what is your fan setup? room temp? good room temp, fan setup should help.
