I looked around a while i got that card off a spare parts shelf and it was hot/loud. I repasted it and now it is nice when 0.825v and 1850mhz and olay at 0.95 and 1950mhz.

For those who don t like the sound of a taking off plane u can cap fps to 60 or your monitor to 60hz and activate v sync .

I bought a 3060TI Gainward Ghost about 5~6 months ago and i am a bit disapointed with the noise levels. I'ts start do get really annoying when it goes to 60+ fan speed. I am using MSI Afterburner to monitor and control. Some games make it reach 75~80 fan speed and it goes very loud. Is it normal? I can easily hear the fans with my headphones and the game sound in the background. Sometimes i try to control myself and let the temp goes to 85c max, to keep the fans a bit quieter, but i didn't want to need to do this and i am a little worried with that.

this game's optimization is poor... and it sucks because i love this game...

a question, did you overclock your GPU?

is it just me or there's a grinding noise when it's coming back from full load at around 5:38 ? Mine's the same card (OC version) and it makes that noise too at around 85% speed (2400-2450-ish RPM) and it's just really annoying

Try to include frametimes as a graph in Afterburner when you test a CPU as it provides a good feel of how smooth the game would be.

Had this card for 4 months, hated it, loud, hot, the clock speeds die, undervolted it, still 76C at 85% fan speed, sold it and bought a better cooled card, honestly crazy how ZOTAC does not give a fuck and just puts a 3050 cooler on a 200 W card ... Zotac never again.

i have a 3070ti trinity oc and i can confirm the fans sound the same with that weird sound at max load. I have undervolted the card so the fans dont have to ramp up high enough to make the sound

I went from a RTX 2060 Zotac Twin Edge to a RTX 3070 Gainward Phoenix instead of this MSI Ventus 2X OC. I thought having 3 fans would be the best choice, but one thing I didn't noticed before, it's the fan size. The fans from my 3070 compared to my old 2060 its waay smaller and playing games, it's too noisy. Usually I'd make my GPU running below 70ºC using 100% fan speed, but for this new card, I'm struggling to make it run under 75ºC with less than 70% of fans due to the noise.

HI. Can you tell temperatures on idle. Because mine one on idle has 50 degree and fans doesn't work at all. Just starts spinning when I do gaming and temp pretty good around 62-68. Thanks

This graphics card from Zotac is really loud, and temp in 4K get 88 degree, I dont recommend it. Another card like Msi is much better ! see my videos !

I'm overclocked at 4.6ghz on the 6700k and getting a good amount more frames at 1440p. I'm averaging 80-110fps@1440p. I'm about to overclock to 4.8ghz since this game clearly needs the extra cpu power. First game I have played at 1440p where it bottlenecks badly. Even at 4.6ghz on the 2nd level open word area it drops as low as 60ish fps. Crazy.

I was playing COD Vanguard last night and it got quite loud lol. But not so loud that it can't be covered up by the games audio through a good pair of stereo monitors or better yet headphones.

i just brought it 4 weeks ago, here to answer question 1. when does it get loud answer: only when the temperature rises thats when the fans get loud as they spin faster, like when playing game 2. is it loud when u not playing game answer: yes but it sounds more like a normal fan next to u. 3. can you hear it with headset on answer: yes but u eventually get used to it and u never notice it when u watching or playing game although depending on ur mic others may be able to hear 4.how loud does it get? answer: honestly really loud but thats the same for all the other fan u may have on your pc, if your pc temperatures rises too much 5. is there a way to reduce the noise? answer: yes, you can use the app they provide (zotac firestorm app) to have fan speed running at specific speed no matter what the tempreture which should stop it from going louder when u playing. HOWEVER, not recommended as the longer u play the more hotter ur graphic card will get, remember these are some powerful graphics card. although feel free to watch youtube video on how to use firestorm effectively overall, i only notice the noise when i don't have any thing audio wise on, but again this depends on what type of headset u have as am using razer blackshark v2pro. but seriously personally its not a big deal i only notice it from time to time not often

I wonder if 3090s are louder than this. I have one and it's a jet engine. I'm thinking of downgrading to a 3060ti just to not hear it.

I have an i7 6700k. How much would an rtx 3060 bottleneck it? Will it bottleneck it at all? I also have 16 gigs of RAM. If so. Then what gpu should I upgrade to. Right now I have a gtx 1060. Any reply would be appreciated.

Doesn't really show anything. The main in squad is always high framerate compared to rest of the map. Try running the settings in a gun battle mid map, or during an artystrike

I'm still confused about the bottlenecking. At 4k you have max utilization of both the GPU and the CPU, but at 1440 and 1080 you have only around 40-60% utilization of both gpu and cpu. How come they are bottlenecking in terms of fps, but not in terms of utilized gpu/cpu percentage? What's keeping them both from using 100% of their potential? Is it the ram that is bottlenecking both of them at those fps (around 80-100fps), or what's going on? Because clearly there is a lot of performance left in both the 3070 and the 6700k, and their temps are well below throttling margins. Any clarification on what's going on? Because I reckon that the cpu isn't the issue here, and the gpu certainly isn't doing anywhere near its best.
