Laminate Countertop - Teak Edge - Todd's Travel Trailer

Updating a camping trailer with new laminate countertops. I have replaced the original plastic self-edge with some reclaimed teak scraps from the cabinet shop at a local boat yard. Watch how I transform straight sticks into round corners.

Hello. I noticed you applied new laminate over existing laminate. Did you, after cleaning original top, rough it up with ? Grit orbital sander. So that it would have "tooth" for new sheet to adhere to better?

Hi. Yes, I used a belt sander with an 80-grit belt to sand the teak flush and scuff the existing laminate. Thank you!

What kind/brand of scoring tool do you use? Im curious about the technique of scoring my laminate sheets like you do opposed to routering the sheet into its different parts. Thanks.
