I can’t speak for Jaguar (as mentioned by the guests) but many manufacturer warranties (including CPO) have exclusions for commercial use of the vehicle. Ride Sharing and renting are considered commercial use. Now, they may not be aware you are renting out the car, but if they find out they can deny warranty claims. Important consideration if you have an expensive car.
I currently have a second vehicle that is on Turo and I use on Uber, when it is not rented, just to keep it moving. Here in Michigan, insurance is pricey so a fleet can get costly. I wonder if I can license them as a fleet to be rented out. Could that be cheaper insurance-wise? Writing off the miles and such personally helps on my taxes but having the cars listed as a business fleet, I cannot use the sitting fleet personally for Uber.
How can you find out how much demand there really is for Turo rentals in a particular city? I’m considering doing this but I don’t want to buy a car just to have it rented out twice a month.
I guess you could start off very small, say with a cheap economy car you bought privately from Craigslist or something? Get the toes wet first, before drowning in debt.

Has it been difficult to insure your vehicles? I’m having just a difficult time in Fl.
12 cars - who are they insured with regularly.
Are they owned in your names or a corporation.
Tony Cordero They’re owned to your name . Turo is a third party service that takes a percentage to connect you with customers and it insures your car.

hyrecar works great too, could be less work. Easily 2 to 3 times payment although you can own outright option for better free and clear cash flow.
Turo has made so many changes to the platform that Ive seen long term Turo renters drop out of the game.
Are users finding the Turo "Carculator" estimates to be fairly accurate (or not)?

Should you finance or lease if buying a fleet?
Lease will have a limit on mileage.
Depends where you lease from right? Probably could find a lessor that would give unlimited or higher mileage allowances?
