Hi Guys, to clarify a few things about this video. #1 - The story of Alex is taken from the book, and it is an imaginary story. However, lessons come from the author’s real life experiences. #2 - We are not talking here about those logos you can buy for $ 5$ on Upwork or Fiverr. Alex's logos aren’t just simple designs-they’re part of a bigger, more strategic branding effort.
If people think 100+ people companies are going to buy a 5-50 logo, they reaaaaaally don't understand business. Honestly. There is too much risk to the buyer persona (who is a marketing officer, probably) to buy a 50$ logo. Consider he/she is NOT buying a logo, he/she is buying a full story he can sell internally. Real case I lived: Elzaburu, the oldest IP firm in Spain made a rebrand. They spend TONS in the rebrand of the logo, colours, slogan, and applicator of the same in their flyers, web, agreements, letters... And particularly to have a strong narrative on WHY the rebrand to explain to the OLD shareholders, who are 60+ age average. Please note this is NOT Microsoft. We are talking about a company with less than 200 employees
It is a business, it's just not a functioning business is the struggling business period. It's so insulting to hear people mislable what someone has worked to build, and since sciences I it says to begin with the end in mind you have to see it as a business before you get started.
As with all information dissemination, there will be some valuable insights. Thank you for reviewing the book, I've gained some process tips that are worth trying out. I also like the fact that productivizing is being reinforced as a good way to scale a small business. The aspect of hiring salespeople to help with the scaling is one that I hadn't considered before. But it sure makes a whole lot of sense.
there's a book called whispers of manifestation on borlest , and it talks about how using some secret tehniques you can attract almost everything in life it's not some bullshit law of attraction, it's the real deal

The most valuable idea I get from this is that your unique method of designing something is your product. It’s exactly the approach I had in mind but couldn’t put into words.
This video is such a game-changer! I love how it breaks down the steps to create a business that doesn't rely on you, and the tips from 'Built to Sell' are pure gold
Wow I love this. I just quit a small company as an employee where my boss was doing exactly these things wrong. That shows that it is also wise for employees to signal these issues if you want to work in a thriving business and want to earn more.
1. Isolate the prdt that has potential to SCALE 2. Don't generalize, SPECIALIZE 3. Diversify your clientbase 4. Own the Process, dont customize approach or service 5. Make the business independant of YOU 6. Charge Upfront
Your videos are incredibly valuable, and I can’t thank you enough for the lessons you share! I sometimes have trouble remembering all the key points when there’s a lot of information, so I was wondering if you could create a poster image summarizing the main ideas? I’d love to print it and keep it on my desk to help me memorize and reinforce what I’ve learned. Thanks again for all your hard work!

Great Video, I was thinking to read this book to find the visdom shared on how to effectively create businesses. This video is a gem which will be useful for many others who is looking to read the book. Thanks a lot for this summary
@SpagettyCraft This kind of unrealistic expectations is what makes a lot of people give up on entrepreneurship, kinda sad tbh... some exaggerate to get views, or just for the sake of sensationalism, and the rest give up because they feel that they will never be good enough
The issue about doing 1 product is that you leave opportunities on the table depending on the business. Are you going to turn down a 30k job that is in a different service line but within the same industry. They want to book you because it has features that the client believes you can do it. This concept of one product at a time works if you find a market fit for one product. In video production, it deals with various components
so sad we didn't have such lessons back in school...only because the school system prepares us to be modern slaves to make a lot of money for someone else
If it's not a bother, may I know how you create videos like this? With the drawing and all? It's very attention grabbing and there's not a single boring part because of all the animations going on. Please I would like to know. Thanks
I love how these videos explain things as if they were simple, then smash a horrific number suddenly for the price of one product, to make the potential revenue look really big. Just tell me, please, who the hell is willing to give 10000$ for ONE logo, apart from multi million dollar businesses? That probably have their go to option anyway.
Wow, calling clients ‘customers’ really hit home for me. 🤯 It’s amazing how language can impact how we perceive our business. Anyone else making this change?
If the transport system in a country with greedy corrupt inefficient leadership is by some miracle improved, the only thing that changes is that minerals and general mismanagement of resources happens faster and at an even grander scale. Buying an incorrigible carjacker a faster car and repairing the roads on his route will not make him a humble law abiding taxi driver but a worse gangster able to bind his minions into a cruel mafia.
