- 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Maintenance Lamp Reset Procedure.
Hello everyone, just thought I'd show the way a person could reset the "oil life indicator" and "change oil" messages on the display of a newer Chevy truck. I know a lot of us are doing our own preventative maintenance on our vehicles these days, so I'm trying to put a few videos here and there to help give a visual guide on some frequent questions. If you have any specific questions, go ahead and leave them in the comments and I'll do my best to respond or even make a video response if I have access to a similar vehicle.
Thanks man i just bought a 2500 and needed this

How can you reset the tire sensor in this model?
did u ever find out
Thanks a lot..
Will this work on my 2013?
🤙🏾🤙🏾 right on bro!
is the same for 2009?
I'm trying to figure out where I should buy headlight fluid from any answers
Oh ya. So headlight fluid is kinda hard to come by... first you need to locate the proper donor vehicle... usually one that has one or two cracked headlights... next check to see if they have produced any fluid, if no, move on. If yes, we move to the extraction process... so what I prefer is to drill a small hole at the bottom of the headlamp and collect the headlight fluid in a separate container. Good luck on your future endeavors. Please note this is a sarcastic answer to a sarcastic question. =)

hey man I got a 2011 siverado 1500 my computer idicater told me my rearpassanger tire was lowI pumped in like 65lbs.still says I need air how do I reset it?the same way?
Always check all of your tires for proper air pressure when you get a low pressure lamp. There's always a chance that the tires were rotated without resetting the positions. If they are all good, then you need to try to reset the tpms system. I'm not completely sure without seeing the owners manual, but it should be something like set your parking brake, and switch the headlights on and off 3 to 4 times. You should hear the horn sound. Once you get that, air up/down the LF tire 10psi. You should hear the horn sound. Move on to RF, RR, and then LR. If one of the tires refuse to reset, it's most likely time for a new tpms (tire pressure monitor sensor). Good luck, and let me know how it works out.
sensors on tires have a life of about 5 years
I have a 10 all you need to do is hold the pin in when on oil percentage no need to press pedal
