The cool factor on this is quite high. It's very unique and just makes you and your viewers laugh and smile. It was a great choice for the advent calendar. As you know this is a version of the dancing rider. Each year at Tamiya's world championship race in Japan there is a fun class like the comical Grasshopper, the Lunchbox, the Volkswagen bus, etc. One year it was the Dancing Rider. To see 10 of those racing on the track was great. I think that would be a hilarious UA-camrs race.
That is cool and these things are really cool , I get why Harley likes them too , I’ve always meant to look into getting one , even a china version .

This is one of my favourite tamiyas to drive around. FYI, these are self righting since I noticed you kept walking up to it to right it once it fell over!
Phil, you missed the coolest feature....you can self right it if it falls over. Using the steering the plastic bar puts it back on its wheels.
That driver is a proper Brit, white as a sheet of paper 😂😂😂😂

I notice you're still using the Insta360 Go2. I bought one yesterday to use on my RC's after watching your review recently. (Bit late to that party). Maybe I should get a Dancing or Dual Rider to go with it. They look like a lot fun and are so different from my other RC's.
It’s a great camera for the on board shots. Mines a bit battered and bruised now, may need to replace it. ‘Tack Black’ from Amazon is great for securing it on stuff.

Great driving montage. I reckon you can always tell if you are super stoked on a car if the montage is either amazing or terrible- you either really get into capturing it moving well, or are enjoying the driving itself so much the filming comes second!

@@TomleyRC With only 333 made, how can they really be racing them right now? Maybe in the future if more are made? I don't really know but I think it's pretty cool and they need to make more of them. Maybe this was to see how they would sell, before making a lot of them... Just a theory and thanks for all your videos!
@@PRESTINERCs The 333 were this limited edition one with different stickers, wheels and chrome body.....they sell the standard one as well and there were plenty of them
I don’t have a desire to own one of these, but they really remind me of the Honda Gyro 3 wheel scooter from the 80’s. They handled and looked almost identical
Yes, you can still get the Gyros, and the latest are electric I think
Theres a full size 3 wheeler called the Carver , Richard Hammond did a road test on it a few yrs back .

Tbh I can 𝙉𝙊𝙏 wait till the holiday season is behind us. I enjoyed it a lot when younger but after the loss of my oldest brother followed by my father the following year and lastly my best friend my Boxer I've become a true Grinch unfortunately.
Music is fantastic. Put a little rhythmic high hat on it, maybe some deep front note attack 808 drum kicks, and then some sort of outer space “woo waahhhh weeeee wooaaahhhh wooooo” over it. Seriously though, I like your normal music choices, they’re cool songs, I check them out sometimes.

Hey man look up the band A Wilhelm Scream. If you like us, let me know. I'll let the guys know, and you can use our music free of charge. Everyone seems to like "the rip". Literally the very first word rhymes with duck but, its nothing you can't edit out. Some of our stuff is really heavy, some is melodic, some is a bit "ska" for this day and age, and all if it is over 20 years old. Id say we were a mix between From Autumn to Ashes, Pepper, and a little Thrice sprinkled in there. We were fairly popular in our home town, but we didn't take it seriously enough. Recorded everything concert style to save money and that doesn't help anything. Our drummer made the band. He was an absolute animal. I play rhythm guitar and do the more aggressive/screaming vocals, we have a lead guitarist, and our bass player sings the melodic stuff. Check us out, let me know what you think.
Those are fun. By the way, just rock the steering, and it'll stand itself back up. No need to go after it!

They do race these in Japan (as they do with all the models). They look epic all racing together. I thought those arms at the side let it self right using the steering? Masses of hop ups for these too.
