- How good is a Summit Racing branded Impact? vs WalMart, Amazon, Harbor Freight & Milwaukee
$70 Avid power: www.amazon.com...
$140 M18: amzn.to/3TIGrxK
On the suggestion of our viewers, we bought the new line of cordless tools from Summit Racing, their brushless impact wrench. Is it any good? We take a look up against the new addition from the Amazon brand Avid Power in their ACIW340, Walmart 20V HyperTough and Harbor Freight Hercules.

@@TorqueTestChannel will be cool see when it happens.
Please do an episode on those manual impact drivers, there's one called the Swench. I've seen massive torque claims and would like to know how reliable it is! (also compared to hitting a breaker bar with a hammer/using a breaker bar and a pipe)
"Packing it up early like a general contractor that you paid all up front" -- 🤣
My grandparents once made the mistake of paying for a tree removal all up front, guys had to take down part of their fence said no worry they'd put it back up at the end...shocker I know but they never came back to finish putting the fence back up after they cleaned up the tree.
Yeah, I know that was an absolute classic
I came here to post this exact comment lmao
5:10 you gotta test that 1" vevor air impact one day
Say no more
@@TorqueTestChannel"no more"
@TorqueTestChannel "no more" ...my eyes were drawn to it when you paused. 169.99? Cheap enough to use as an actual hammer at that point.
@@TorqueTestChannelyou guys have a lot of videos to do, we have some tab-less cell batteries, new power levels with Milwaukee that haven’t been shown on the dyno, several tools and upgrades batteries that are out selling in full force.
Maybe do a bonus video on that new forge 12 and 8ah?
Good stuff
I can't wait for the next video when it's revealed Avid Power is back up to 1st on Amazon due to this video
I really wish Hercules would release a good mid torque. I love my other Hercules tools (drill, grinder, ultra torque, etc) but the 3/8 impact is so wimpy I NEVER use it. Wish I hadn't wasted the money on it.
Ya know it's funny, they have a couple very good high torque options and a great small impact driver. When we say they don't have a real mid torque people point at this tool we test here, when we say they don't really have a compact people also point at this same tool. It's both and neither, and in any light it's not great.
They need to put a 3/8" drive on the hercules impact driver then make an actual mid torque between the size/weight of a DCF891 and M18 2962 then the market would freak out.
@@TorqueTestChannelwonder if they have a different product management group assigned to that tier of tools in their store
Either way they certainly could step it up
If you do another episode like this Menards has a brand of power tools they carry as well that I would like to see tested. I think they are called Masterforce
Actually had Masterforce in our carts when making this episode. The small compact with battery and charger was $217 or $194 with rebate. The larger mid torque was $220/196 as a kit. Neither seemed to compare as directly as the $60-70 tools we had already bought. Not ruling it out though, they could be good and well justify being more expensive than these.
if I were a betting man, I'd expect Masterforce to perform similarly to Kobalt, since they're made for Menards by Chervon and around the same price point.
I work for menards in tge manufacturing division so we use almost exclusively master force tools, and to be honest they are fine, but tge batteries absolutely suck. Basically you need a 5 Ah battery to get anything done.
@@PhillyFixed maybe similar but could be interesting to see that it’s 20V instead of 24V.
Though that may mean it’s more like Skil.
The Master Force stuff is made by Chervon, a.k.a. Flex, Skil, Kobalt, Ego, they literally took Kobalt's 20 volt line and added to it and made some upgrades. Just so you guys know
I miss K-Mart, imagine how good a Kraco Impact would be.
The last K-Mart is located in New York and will close on October 20, 2024😢.
Man a brushless impact wrench on a Bluelight special would be all the right kinds of weird
Does target have their own line yet? Still waiting on dicks to come out with one.. call it pecker..
Oh man.....best comment I'll read all day guaranteed!
And on blue light special!😃
Sad that a company known for race car gear has decided to sell crappy tools.
If they want help picking out good ones to put their sticker on, just drop us an email :P
I'm not sure why you would expect much better TBH, it's a parts store with a house brand that sells white label products🤷 They sell house brand performance parts too, and, like most other house brands, they're often the cheapest and very much 'good enough'.
What are better racing/heavy duty parts brands for beginners looking for better parts than your average for their forever vehicles?
Summit is now owned by a Chinese conglomerate, so crappy stuff with the Summit name will become extremely common.
In their defense Summit will sell you a Milwaukee if you want it.
Could you test Festool. I don’t think their impact driver is built for torque, but made to be very ergonomic. After all, you don’t need 250 ftlb to drive a deck screw.
"Could you test Festool. I don’t think their impact driver is built for torque, but made to be very expensive..." fixed
@@tedmich The Cadillac of the tool world. Sleek with features, very expensive, and not built to do heavy work.
@@tedmichspot on 😂
Maybe I'm stupid, but don't drills have more than enough power to drive deck screws all while being much faster. I read something from a few people about wrist fatigue and injuries but with modern anti jerking tech (I wish I new the actual name haha) is that even a problem?
I would love to see some Parkside tested, but unfortunately they are EU market only sold through LIDL and Kaufland, in my opinion they are amazing for the money.
There are a few lidl stores around me in central PA, but I haven't seen many of the Parkside tools coming into them. Only seen a couple corded tools.
We cant find anything even online of something new from Parkside black that ships here
Considering Summit's primary customer base, I would think they would actually offer decent tools instead of the basement junk
If all you're doing is changing tires and or oil changes or putting on turbo kits, I don't see any problem with that impact. However, Summit's primary customer base probably owns high end Snap On or Mac Tools or even something you have to order from Milwaukee.
There are also the Grizzly tools.
The Amazon or Walmart certainly wouldn’t be bad to buy and keep under your seat if you had to change a tire on the road
I do that with a Dewalt 12V
Likely the batteries would be dead when you most need it, and having low budget Chinese lithium ion cells in a baking hot car in the summer doesn't seem like a great plan. A breaker bar doesn't need batteries, and cannot self combust...
@@ferrumignis*Hopefully* cannot self-combust.
Ummm batteries? Just carry a tyre iron
I've changed many tires on the side of the road using my hands and the stock wrench. there is no need for a powered tool
Why havent you guys done any SKIL impact 3/8 gun? That lil 12v guy is strong with 4ah battery.
I snagged the 3/8 20v kit for $60 at lowes and it'll take lug nuts off my truck
I bought their 20v mid 800/480 on Amazon for very cheap. I have Milwaukee but I own a few Skil also. For the money, especially on sale they are hard to beat. Only issue is size and weight but if you don't need a compact it dosen't matter.
Your channel is among the top 5 that I watch and subscribe to. I own quite a few Milwaukee cordless tools, but every now and then I just can't resist a bargain, even when I really don't need another of the same tool I already have. (I'm sure it's a mental disorder, but I don't want to be cured either.) Regardless, I just wanted to say that of all the videos you've created, the ones that evaluate cheap, off-brand cordless tools are my favorites.
@TTC If possible, it would be interesting to see Menard’s MasterForce power tools tested. I believe they’re made by Chervon.
I’ve always been more of a Jegs guy
Don't lie, you know you're the JC Whitney type. 😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅 Just a joke...
JEEEEGGGSSSS!
I'm more of a jugs guy (.)(.)
@@johnlastname2895👀
Jegs sold out recently, now owned by "Greenbriar Equity Group" out of Connecticut.
Whatever that means. Surely a bunch of bankers with car projects at home and grease stained hands and driveways. Or, maybe not.
I found that I could trim the small tabs off the batteries to make them fit other models
Not suprised summit has their own line, I'd be interested in the local auto parts stores cordless line up's tested too (O'Reilly Power Tourqe, Advance Diehard, Autozone Duralast)
Why do you guys always compare everything impact wise to Milwaukee? The dewalts have more power. If you're going to bring out a big boy impact why not bring out THE big boy impacts
What are the odds ya'll could get Mastercraft stuff. Would be cool to see how Canadian stuff compares.
It’s called mastercrap for a reason, not very good!
@@mysticskills9131 That's BS, lol
You know the old saying.." buy once... Cry once". 45 years of experience..... It's true. Don't buy anything in your life that's not high quality.... If it's junk you simply don't need it. You will be frustrated and spend more money in the long run. With power tools go straight to the Milwaukee aisle and don't worry about it. You will have a tool that does its job and is a pleasure to use versus others that simply don't.
I have a 350 lb rated corded impact wrench that I had for years before the lithium batteries came out and cordless tools were workable because the batteries lasted. .... I doubt it does 150 ft-lbs.. unless you leave it on there a long time... But it was better than dragging out the air compressor for a lot of bolts when working under cars....and wheel lugs. Meanwhile My Milwaukee 1/2-in impact wrench.... Has yet to find a bolt it couldn't remove in the blink of an eye..even harmonic balancer bolts. And it slows down automatically as the torque reduces so you can run the bolts on and off as well... It's just a pleasure to work with. The job is quick and easy.... Versus the hassle it used to be.
But here's the thing.... You don't want to mix brands and have to have all kinds of different chargers and different batteries Milwaukee gives you the same battery and charger for All your tools and lawn and garden tools too..... My weed eater and hedge trimmer run off the same larger batteries that can fuel my sawzall , circular saw, impact wrench etc..... it is such a pleasure using the same batteries for all your tools. This saves you from having to buy extra batteries... You can just purchase the tool alone from Milwaukee... Once you already have the batteries and chargers you need... Saving $100 per tool or more
I have milwaukee tools and ryobi "gadgets"
Any plans on testing the new 3/8 and 1/2 kobalt impacts that they released and are supposed to have more power?
0:26 For this arena, the best subset in this category, you gotta test and show/inform people of is the bigger chiina generic actual brands. They can easily be found on ali, protools is a good place to start. These type have a much wider line and are always Makita bat compatible. They offer better, unique, updated, tools that won't be E waste when the bat dies with these other one off brands, which often quickly disappear.
keeaffor, ATO, woberich, are others, they're all the same, but different than this other chiina subset of smaller brands with unique batteries that all have similar/limited tools available, which you can find on ama and in big box. would rather see these, yet at least they should be included, please
How about testing the part store brand impacts? Powertorque from O'Reilly, Diehard from Advance/Carquest, and OEM Tools from AutoZone?
I work at O’Reilly’s. Could you do the Power Torque brand electric impact? Also would like to see the Flexzilla brand pneumatic impact we carry lol
I saw a team using summit tools at bandimere speedway in thunder valley about 8 years ago. Im guessing that the ones i saw were actually made by summit instead of just branded and only sold to professionals.
Rip bandimere, screw whatever corporation that built all those homes on the other side of 470 and all the homeowners that knowingly baught a house next to a drag strip then complained about noise, and the judge that decided to close bandimere because of those complaints.
I’ve got a few Hercules 20v tools that I’ve been pretty happy with. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy a compact impact the other day. I was less than impressed when I used it to loosen the lug nuts on my car. This helps confirm my observation with some actual data. I’ll probably be returning it
I'm looking forward to seeing the Dewalt 964b test soon I'm hoping the 3/4 over the 1/2(961b) will see some major improvement.
I have that hyper tough impact. I found it at my local Wal-Mart for 48 dollars and use it at work. It's a great tool for what it costs, and i have no problem lending it out to other AMTs at work. If it happens to get damaged or lost its cheap to replace.
Grainger sells Westward wrenches and tools, which I think is their house brand. ALSO, K Mart branded wrenches that are made in Japan can still be found on ebay.
I bought the smallest seesii on sale for like $65. Can’t beat it, hits like a champ. Thank you for the great videos!!
There have been a lot of wanna be brands on Amazon but AP has managed to stick around.
Would love to see a video on wormdrive circ saws, the 60 volt DeWalt especially.
Hey,
Why are you not testing BOSCH Professional tools??
The klutch mid torque power tool is identical and runs on the same batteries as the hyper tough
1:55 haha my phone charger is more powerful than this (67w)
2:30 - We lose something in the timeline or what? Where's the run?
I guess he is keeping his secrets

I need more Amazon Makita tools 🙏
wtf is the point of an impact that switches to low power when it’s stuck on a bolt
It's not supposed to, it just sucks
Cheaper tools don't last long, especially those 'high quality' batteries that they come with. The tool itself might be great but what's powering it, is not. I've had few of those amazon impacts melt inside and batteries suddenly die when you need them. My Makita tools are over 12 years old and some batteries are over 6 year old and still hold charge.
I would honestly like to see Parkview from Lidl and Aldi's house brand tools as well if you can actually get the ones you want to test. Parkview had a 1/4 20v impact that appeared to be pretty stout and the batteries are dirt cheap.
Can't get them in the US.
@@matthewjbauer1990 Yes you can, both stores are in the US and I own several Parkview tools and batteries.
Should try the CAT power tools with graphene batteries curious how they do you don’t see them much. Also dewalt has new “ hydraulic drive impact driver” curious how that does in its class and what makes it different internally. A video on it would be great 👍🏼. Awesome channel btw more info than all others!
When Harbor freight came out with the Hercules 2nd gen, I bought one of their 1/2" 1st gen ultra torques on clearance for maybe $110? Since it was my first Hercules, I needed a battery, so I got the gen 2 mid torque 3/8" that they bundled with a 5ah battery for $75 total. So basically, my mid torque was free. Although it is significantly less powerful than the ultra, and these others you've tested, it feels great in the hand, and I use it all the time when I'm working on my wheel horse tractors, zero turn and other equipment. I probably don't notice its limitations because I naturally switch to my ultra for larger bolts. Could it and should it be better? Absolutely. But it's still been a great tool. And it's hard to complain about free things! 😂
this HT 20v was just on clearance for $30. I got 2. I cant believe u didnt test the walmart with the 4ah battery and just dismissed it as costs too much. You can easily get a 4ah battery for under $30 with a tool September - February months by finding Clearance 20v Tools and Yard equipment that have a 4ah in them. in fact presently you can find the Hyper Tough Angle Grinder for $20-30 with a 4ah battery. also to note there is a now a 6ah battery being sold which would make sense to not test with as it wont be in clearance items till another year or 2.
I have 2 of the Walmart special 12v ratchets- while they are not super powerful, they definitely make spinning bolts in hard spots in/out faster than a manual ratchet would. I also have the Walmart 12v mini brushless drill and Dremel, the drill I use for sharpening tungsten and is light for carrying up in lifts and on scaffolding at work. Both do what they’re supposed to very well. For what I paid for Walmart hyper tough- they are worth it- and I can replace them whenever I need to.
The black and Decker VPX batteries took 12 hours to charge. Batteries, fantastic. Tools and charger, crap. People would harvest the packs for their cells for old drones.
Positive news that value brands aren't always a joke. I'm sure there's many a home DIYer who greatly benefits from this knowledge. With more international brands showing up, it's nice to know which do OK, and which are too weak to work.
Avid is one cheap cloned generation ahead of every other model that's already been shipped to the US and sitting around for the past year or so. That's really what it comes down to. Supply chains from Chinese brands to Amazon are a lot quicker when you remove the Summit, Walmart, HF, etc middlemen.
Thanks for possessing integrity in a time, on a platform, in a culture where it’s absent.
Measuring mid-lower end tools(after the best), you’re doing the “least advantaged” genuinely huge favors. Very cool.
They don't seem to sell Avid here on canadian Amazon, and then its almost the same price as a name brand (So much older Gen Kobalt on sale right now!) Interesting testing as always.
We need a video comparing the performance of different impacts using the new powerpack battery
Have you ever tested any of the Parkside Performance brushless impact drivers/wrenches sold by Lidl? They are quite big here in Europe for people on a budget, and their biggest impact wrench advertise a torque of a whopping 1900nm while loosening and 1350nm tightening. They also sell a 12v wrench similar to the Milwaukee Stubby, for just 40 euros. Seems to good to be true, so might be interesting to test those!
I would really like to see a comparison between the Milwaukee M12 Impact Driver, and the M12 Surge Hydraulic Impact driver. I've heard some really interesting things about the Surge, but it's not clear what's rumor, and what's true. All that anyone agrees on is that it's quieter. It wasn't included in the compact impact video, but I would really like to know where it ranks.
I don't see a problem with someone getting a couple of these cheaper impact tools when they are DIY working on their own cars like me. I used to be a tech, but I just work on my cars. And taking off tires without power tools sucks. I'm temped to buy the ones that you showed that work with Makita batteries because I happen to have a couple of Makita tools on me already, but not the impact. I would be able to slap my 2 MAH batteries from that kit. I've seen those tools for like $100 or less. I could buy two of those and one one each in the trunk of each of my vehicles. If I buy like a nice one, it would be at least $250 plus tax, like the mid torque Dewalt (the latest one). Thanks for all you do!
A brand called kinchrome and the cheapy camping shop (super cheap auto) have their own branded version of those summit tools (SCA is now selling kinchrome branded ones now it seems) that tool and battery platform can be gound around the internet under other names, they seem to be another einhell assuming einhell dont make these tools too
Edit: this is in australia, cant speak for other countries but id assume they all have their own versions of this tool too
Hyper tough extended head ratchet is my favorite battery ratchet. Just can't justify a Milwaukee extended reach, after breaking most of the rest. It does it's job. So handy turning bolts on bell housing. Just can't let the battery get too low.
I swear is there some legal reason why these brands dont just copy the same battery design so that they can fit another brands batteries on their tools. I feel like that would be a great way to market the product "hay you got some milwaukee batteries but your sick of paying their prices, well than come to us. Hell even if you dont have batteries you can buy ours, they slid right onto your milwaukee 3/8 micro chubby x elite forge raptor"
I love "Hyper Tough doing hyper........ Not bad." 😂
The lack of good warranty and service for the Avid Power will keep me buy in Milwaukee. You can get a 4 year protection plan for the tool for $12.00. Not sure if it covers the battery?
Does nobody remember that all the big brands “compact” impact wrench was THE EXACT SAME SIZE as these? Ya know, like a Milwaukee 2754-20? It’s almost like the patents expired on the old designs and now companies can legally sell them in the US. Y’all are annoying as hell with the constant “iTs NoT cOmPaCt” bs
I have a suggestion for a video.
Many people for various reasons want to be able to carry one set of tools to deal with all fasteners. Comparing imperial for imperial + metric vs. metric for imperial + metric would be interesting, to me. It would be different for interval vs. external. My expectation is that metric is better for sockets and wrenches and imperial is better for hex keys, but seeing the results (maybe compared, as well, to a Metrinch set) would be interesting.
Back then when walmart was 24 hours. That stuff was a godsend for when you needed something late at night.
Walmart still got 24 hr stores.. if its profitable walmart is probably on top of it..
I would have thought their highest torque would be in reverse. That’s where I use mine 99% of the time. Righty tighty is usually by torque wrench.
Also, I’ve recently noticed non- Milwaukee tools made to use M12 and M18 Milwaukee batteries. Ends that incompatibility if there is something Milwaukee doesn’t make or you could consider disposable.
Harbor Freight going to Hercules is wild, when they had an Earthquake XT. I've got one as my home gun, it was my first 20 volt impact and I used it in a garage for 2 years. Granted it died right before the warranty ran out, I took it in and got a whole new Earthquake XT kit; for the small fee of buying the warranty again (not required but I wanted it) which was $34. I got ol big daddy DeWalt 961 now... 😅
There are new flex impacts out, can you test them? I was about to purchase the recent one y’all tested but saw the new one
I know it's not quite in your wheelhouse, but what would you say to testing rotary tools. I noticed Avid Power has a little Dremel boi, and Dremel itself gets kinda crapped on by people, so it would be interesting to know how a $40 Avid Power stacks up against a $60 Dremel "Lite" or an $80 Milwaukee (or even Dremel's $150 8250)
Next up in the workshop, they spin a wheel to see what tool brand they’ll be using today for everything (reasonably practical) to use it for during the day
11-13 amp Rat Tail grinders....Please....I need to see the comparisons. Please include Dewalt, Makita, Hercules, Metabo (Germany), etc...thanks!
Shout out to anyone from Central PA that remembers "Cremos" tool store. I'm going back a few years.
Any chance of seeing the new kobalt 24v compacts. They have 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2in specs on the box seem really low. Im not sure what they are trying to compete with since most all the new compacts are north of 250ftlbs. It would be intresting to see if they are under rated by chance. They also have a newer shorter 24v ratchet that's more of a manageable size than the 1st massive one they put out. Maybe it could be included in your next ratchet test.
Thanks for all the work that goes into making these comparison videos.
The $80 Bauer from Harbor Freight blows away a lot of this stuff and I've seen people on their do reviews that had them for 15 years until something happened they opened them up and greased them and they still worked fine. There's a guy following I could put his name in here a bit he's a one-of-a-kind guy that takes really bad cars I mean this is the guy that has a frame rack and measures I mean this guy goes above and beyond to he doesn't make salvage title cars and makes a rebuilt cars that are excellent and safe and I noticed he uses a lot of Bauer Bauer cordless I'm going to cause he uses a lot of different brands but I noticed I'm using Bauer cordless I imagine he got him a harbor freight that corded Bowers got to be pretty darn good people on their using them for 15 years I mean daily daily doing stuff for 15 years
I hope you can try a parkside performance in the future, the black line of brushless tools
As someone with the hyper tough, I can assure you the 4.0 battery unlocks more torque. Of course I can’t do the same kind of tests, but I did test lug nut removal at 129ft lbs, and the 4.0 cut the time in half for whatever that’s worth
I have a lot of Hyper tough 20v with the bigger battery, which does come with some tools. I like em
Could y'all do a battery warranty process video? I had a 2.0cp M18 seemingly die from lack of use. Click, Print free label, box it, ship it. New battery returned within 5 working days.
I'm starting to wonder about the consistency of the HF Hercules line. I got the 20v 3/8" and 1/2" compact impacts on sale pretty cheap and the 1/2" has broken loose some pretty tough bolts. The 3/8 is pretty much just a thread runner and doesn't seem to have much torque and I wish I hadn't bough it.
I would be curious to see that new house brand Klutch KLiQ brushless impacts at Northern Tool. They have a mid torque that looks like a lot of these offerings, plus a 3/8 compact, and a 1,000ftlbs high torque
Love the video! I have one suggestion for audio, where you could combine both audio channels (Left and right) or make the audio mono on the clips where you test impact wrenches. Because currently it makes a very uncomfortable ASMR-like sound on either ear that feels awful for headphone users. Thank you, and keep up with the good work :)
these cheap impacts all the rage in our country due to motorcycle/scooter ownership. I bought a brushless version and it's the most advanced tool in my collection but this tool is the least used. I just used it to repair a mop bucket with stuck rusted nut and bolt.😅😅
Walmart is upgrading to name brand and can get 20v 2ah tools for $20 kit. They are bad tools but picked up the sawzaw and sander
Funny enough a chain of auto part stores where I live sell a brand of power tools exclusive to them (afaik) and their tactic seems to be to sell tools that are amazon house brand level for festool money. Their "high torque" is 1200 bucks and claims 700nm of nut busting, so what the real figure is I have no idea but it feels like a cheap toy.
Hey TTC, what about rebuilt battery packs? See if those Battery's Plus stores and other online rebuilders would do an old M18 rebuild?
I really like my Hercules compact impact. I bought it for $35 with a coupon and I have certainly gotten more than $35 of use from it. If i need more torque, I just grab a larger impact. I really do love the small size and low weight of it for an all-day use impact.
That HyperTough is being clearanced for $49. $6 for the 3 yr extended warranty. I was wondering if I could get an impact cheap enough to keep in the car for a lug wrench. Hmmm
Could you guys do a part two to the 6-point vs 12-point vs Spline video? I'd love to know how 12-point and Spline stack up against each other on 12-point and I guess square patterns
I bought a ridgid R86010 $99 as tool only, not the most powerful but batteries a plenty, and de-nuts the dyi car/truck maintenance.
TTC should test your bargain brands..
Hart vs. Craftsman
Bauer vs. Hercules
@torquetestchannel please can you do another test on the ratchet gaunlet for the milwaukee insider ratchet using deep well sockets for each one, only asking as I'm still hearing good things about the tool and I believe it would do a better time if you used deep well sockets rather then the insider sockets as it seemed to go faster using them even on bigger stuff, also I believe alot of people would use normal sockets on the adapters most of the time and where necessary the insider sockets would be come helpful but for only certain circumstances. Also milwaukee updating the anvil adapters reduces the issue of slowing the user down and I'd like to see them in practice if possible. Many thanks 😁
Can't wait for you all to test the new DCF964. Also can't wait for mine to arrive, ARGHHH why must they make me wait. I ordered it the day after it became available.
Been asking for this for over a year. Please order The maximum brand from Canadian tire in Canada. I use it everyday as a mechanic and it's done me well but I'd like to know how it does on your channel
Can you guys try to test master craft tools for us Canadian viewers? You buy them from a store called Canadian Tire which is a very common and popular store all across Canada.
Can you test the 6 amp forge vs 8 vs 12, i want to see the difference between the 6 amp forge and 8 amp forge, i am not into the 12 because it too bulky.

I bought the seesii 1/2" impact they tested for use in the truck. It has worked just fine over the last year, because it came with two batteries, i'm never without power. But, i check both batteries for charge once a month. For the 98 usd i paid for it on Amazon, its been great.
Great episode. Cant wait for the DeWalt hydraulic impact driver to make it to the channel. Would be cool to see it against the hydraulic dtuff from makita Ridgid and Milwaukee
For anyone that needs a great deal, Amazon has the Milwaukee Fuel 1/2" mid torque impact on sale for $136 right now. Probably the best deal on an impact on the market today.
Thank you for standardized testing, ranking, and integrating value into your assessments. Very informative. Please consider reliability testing: how long do inexpensive tools last compared to pricier ones.
Everyone that bought that Summit is doing a slow burn and scheming on pawning it off on someone else. That's some MFJ (mighty fine junk).
"Hypertough doing hyper... Not bad" Exactly the jokes im here for. Keep up the great work
