sir i have polo gt tsi 2016.... have driven around 77K kms, no flywheel and clutch changed yet or to be needed as per VW service advisor.... if there are no wear indicators then how to find or know the clutch and flywheel (especially wear part) is in bad shape? Also have read reviews of others that mechatronic most likely to fail at around 90K - 100K kms is it true?
even after so much mods it cant beat a stock abarth Punto, I know you love VW vehicles, but would be great if you give fair weightage to Abarth Punto for outright performance and also look into i20Nline for handling, steering feedback and chassis. VW polo is good but there were better cars in the segment.
Various reasons like to increase reliability, increase service intervals, cost saving, targeting larger customer base and maintaining the difference in terms of performance in their portfolio.
If they tune the car to full potentiomal then mileage will drop,have to change engine parts so that they can withstand that increased pressure and have to upgrade cooling system,clutch gerabox and if they do then then cost will also increase
