One thing I would like to add is most of the people judge tunes based on the peak power figures which is absolutely not the way to go. You should have a look at the dynocharts to understand the difference between them. A remap having higher peak power figures might be actually making lesser power on certain RPMs or might be delivering an inferior power delivery. Hence one should always opt for reputed tuners and always choose your tunes based on your use case and by comparing them on the basis of their dynocharts and not CLAIMED peak power figures.
Sirji please make another session on other than Engine tuning, ECU and Gearbox as most of us not willing to tamper with these core components of our beloved VWs. The session should be about other mods such as Upgradation of Instrument cluster, Infotainment systems, Auto seats, Upgrade headlights and alloys etc. and about reliable vendors, prices and improvement achieved. Sunderdeep ji There’s another concept of unlocking in market. Where few features like 1. Alarm at 80 and 120 will be taken out 2. Remote engine start 3. Remote window down 4. Horn will locking unlocking car These features will be activated What’s your view on the same ??? Will it affect warranty ??? ECU will not be touched …
There's a feature unlock option called TWEAKED ABS.. which improves brake disc wiping.. just wanted to understand how it's different n beneficial from stock set up n why Skoda/VW doesn't unlock them by default while selling these cars
From my sleep I just got a thought on this video of tuning and I specifically point to removal of the catalytic converter during the tuning process.... Hope one of the 3 could answer this or someone who knows can.. 1. If you remove the catalytic converter which is meant to control exhaust gases, how are you compensating for the pollution??? 2. With that catalytic converter removal, the public is now aware that removal of catalytic converter helps in giving a slight increase if not more power/torque and if ppl start removing their catalytic converters, there is no way for a normal person to tell but wouldn't it cause a lot of pollution?? What measures as tuners do you or can you take to prevent this from happening (pollution specifically)

It’s bcoz when u tune your car you have to tune the tcu too. But since torque converter is not tuneable that’s why it does not match the performance of tuned ecu bcoz ecu is tuned and tcu is running stock that’s why tcu gets confused during shifts bcoz tcu giving orders to shift in stock condition but ecu requires shifts in tuned format

If we tune any engine so the piston rings bhi change karni padegi ek premature schedule bana ke, just like he told about air filter kyuki after market air filter will increase air flow but with increased minute dust particles so it will directly affect cylinder sleaves toh do we also need change all the rings (top, compression and oil) just for reliability purpose curious question
I own a 2017 ecosport facelift 1.5 l tdci that has run around 108000 kms. At 98000 kms I gave my car for the 1 lakh km service in Navi Mumbai, and drove back to Cochin where I reside. Later that year itself at 106000 kms I decided to change fuel filter, oil filter and oil and air filter, that is when I came to know that the air filter that was fitted at the 98000 kms service, was smaller than the required size by 1.25 cms and air would go in direct. I replaced with correct size and on reaching Navi Mumbai, apprehended the service centre incharge and mechanic, who said they do it with most cars and not a big deal. How can anyone rely on company service centres?

Was given two choices of turbos when replacing by dealer, you can guess based on power of the engine outputs which is for which. am running a laura 2.0 tdi with 192hp and 410 Nm with a dq200 running a stage 4 tcu and kevlar clutch pak from rtmg, will be upgrading to a hybrid CR170 Turbo + dq250 swap and going for a stage 3 Ecu if the turbo breaks again. if it is the same internals, check which turbo it has, if its CR140 you can tune it for similar outputs. general range is 170-190 stage 1
Hi, I have a Škoda Octavia 2.0 diesel dsg, has done 1.25 lakhs kms but in excellent condition . I am confused whether I should get a non aggressive stage 1 remap done or keep it stock . Also please can you give information about the 2.0 litre diesel engine as well .. I only hear Manish Ji speaking about the other engines but not the 2 litre Tdi in the Octavia or jetta or Passat , etc .
2.0TDI is most potent , and incredible options for hardware upgrades. There is nothing like aggressive vs non aggressive , everything is customised for the user's need. Say if 2.0TDI is peak torque of 400NM and still drives a like a normal machine with minimal throrttle then still we dont call it aggressive or non aggressive.
am using a stage 2 laura tdi 2.0, 192Hp/410Nm torque. If it is a dsg, you will require a stage 4 tcu + upgraded clutch for DQ200. if your model is a DQ250 it requires a stage 1 tcu for it.
Sunderji , my bs6 diesel ford is making problems due to dpf issues and consequential mixing of diesel with engine oil. Can i rectify the problems by DOWN PIPE ?
One question if you can answer here or later Without going for any stage upgrade or tuning - is it advisable to change the air filter to after market (not the high flow / free flow filters) instead of oem ? What other things one would keep in mind if they go for aftermarket air filter
you can change air filter if you want... basically it helps engine to breathe with more air... if you have turbo charged engine you can improve low end torque or it may reduce some amount of turbo lag with high flow filters. High flow filters need to be cleaned sooner than OEM filters.
Not at all. I personally would keep my cars stock. Brands spend millions on the research to come up with a product & we should trust them more than tuners. I would do that only if I am super rich & ready to risk 20 lacs.

Yes possible hai par bahot jada money and time lagta hai sab kuch fabricate karna padta hai aur sab kuch change karna padta hai jese ki perfect size turbocharger , intercooler , injectors , fule pump , blow of value , custom piping , boost controller , spark plug gap , oil catch can , down pipe , ecu tune ignition timing , afr gague, boost gauge , oil temperature gague,forged pistons , forged con rods , etc
what kinda question is that ? Everything is illegal here. Downpipe with Decat is more pollutants and smoke, Downpipe with an Upgraded Cat is about the same ±3-5% give or take.

U never talked 1.8 and 2.0 engine. Ye yo bacche hain. Don't be fooled, Piston, crankahaft, piston rod can't handle power over 130-140 bhp in 1.0, these engine parts are totally made in india for india. If you want real FUN go for old 1.8 or 2.0 tsi they were all imported engines.

if you make enough excess torque, low end torque no longer matters as much. since the peak torque is moved up, low end torque should be similar.

afaik manual is weaker internals, also lower sized turbo as well. max you can get with manual is 160hp, max with the dsg version is 267hp.

Go to some experienced mechanic and get your intercooler and EGR checked. Sometimes it is due to choked intercooler and EGR.
