Ray, great info as usual! Your insights and hard work, the time you’ve put into this craft transpires from all your videos. I’m enjoying this new modality of informative videos a lot. Again, you’re a great inspiration for the entire community of wildlife photographers!
Haha! Thanks for replying. Just got back from grinding a perch into the pond bottom. I was surprised by the relative ease of the operation. Now... c'mon kingfisher! 😝
Thanks for sharing Ray. This was another insightful tube. Would this area be classed as a public park? It seems so quiet. Looking forward to more visits to your local pond.
Thanks so much Steve, while it’s technically public it doesn’t appear that way to most and I think only the people that live right next to it are aware it’s there. If I didn’t live there I’d never know it existed.
This is simply an awesome setup Ray.. I heard you mentioned you're planning to shoot in the evening too.. both morning and evening from the same blind?

Well done great work subscribed only just found your channel ! UA-cam 👍😍!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed.
Thanks for the informative video. Are the perches just forced into the pond bottom? I was hoping to see that part of the process.
Yup, I just wade out in the water and shove them into the bottom of the pond. Some are much easier than others depending on how soft the bottom is.
