Nothing wrong with listening to a Maiden studio track before checking out a live version, but if you're limited on time and have to choose one or the other, the live version is the way to go for 98% of Maiden songs. They never disappoint live, ever.

For me as a 56 years old Metalhead is that normal Music for many years, my start as a Metalhead was 1980 with 13 years , 2024 all Member of Maiden are order than 66 years and this Song is still in the Liveset

3 almost perfect live-bands for me in no order: Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian and Nightwish. Some bands might scratch those hights here and there but those 3 are my go to when I watch live versions. Their consistency on stage is from another world!
