Hi Beth, my mother is 92 & still lives alone in her home. Due to back issues, she no longer works in the yard. When I suggested silk pansies, she was not on board. But after they arrived & I had placed them in her front barrel she was totally impressed! We are now waiting on red geraniums to arrive to switch out for the much warmer months. Even her neighbors have ordered some because they could not believe how real they look! Thank goodness for Amazon! Your window boxes are lovely, great work!
I removed all the home depot plants and went NATIVE plants❤❤❤❤ FIRED THE exterminator,,no more toxic junk,,,,,I got hummingbirds and butterflies now,,,baby birds everywhere ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I think faux flowers are a brilliant idea! Saves water and looks lovely!! They do not look cheap at all!
I remember my mom planting fake flowers when we came to the US. In Europe, flowers are everywhere. People would stop by and ask my mom how she took care of them to make them look so beautiful? She would then have to tell them they were not real, but from the street you couldn’t tell. We had flowers in the Texas heat! 😁

Beth, your window boxes look fabulous, don’t let anyone put you down for using faux flowers, everyone’s situation is different, I have mostly real flowers in my garden as we don’t get wickedly hot summers, but I have two window boxes under a covered porch where nothing will grow, even shade plants and for every season I use faux flowers to decorate them and they are so beautiful. No sense in planting real ones if the heat is going to kill them and I love the trees by your garage doors, I’m looking forward to seeing you reno and decorate your new home, I know it’s going to be so beautiful, take care, Sheila

Oh they look so elegant and upscale. Simply gorgeous. East coast is under severe drought/water restrictions in place. Water company driving around giving violations notices. So fake flower sounds so ideal, no water, no fines. My yard looks dry and crunchy and nothing is blooming due to lack of water.
I think it looks gorgeous Beth, I'm in Georgia and it's 105 with 100% humidity. Real flowers would be dead in 2 days. I have never looked so good gardening. WOW!! Girl ! You look great!!
I’ve always wanted to do this on my windows! Window boxes and flowers are so expensive that I just can’t afford it but I love using faux flowers, they look so real! These look absolutely beautiful! I've never been a fan of faux flowers in outdoor planters or window boxes, I could always spot them right away, but I have to admit, yours look very realistic and lovely. The faux junipers look realistic as well.

I am definitely using faux thus year and I live them! Ordered them from Amazon! They look great and I even ordered very real looking ferns which I love! They are not supposed to fade in the sun! ❤

I actually have the same window planter that I’ve had for about a year and at first I planted real flowers and it was a chore to keep them watered and around fall I changed things up and started using faux greenery!! Game changer. I need to add some faux flowers as well.

With all you have going on Beth, faux flowers make so much sense and they are beautiful! Here in Western Washington we are still awaiting summer to arrive. I’m writing this while sitting in front of my burning fireplace, outside temp 55 degrees. We’ve had only a handful of temps in the mid sixties. I cannot wait for warmer temps into the 70’s!

I'm in west Georgia, and it hasn't rained in a month!!! I water all my plants every other day and I have a window box with geraniums. Another thing you have to do is deadhead them. I've never thought about using faux flowers, but I just ordered some and I'm going to give them a try!!!
I'm in Texas and the summer heat is horrible. I was so tired of spending money on flowers for my pots in the backyard so I decided to put fake flowers. I actually ordered all mine from Temu and they came pretty fast. I love the way they look and they have stayed looking pretty and its been over a year since I put them in my pots. Yours look beautiful.

I think they look lovely.
I used faux flowers for the first time last year....they stayed gorgeous all summer with no watering!! I haven't put them out yet because our deck is being redone but as soon as it's finished I will get out there! I stuck with white geraniums and different pot fillers. I got the white flowers you have only in purple and they faded horribly...I will stick to white. I got a few vining ones and they look so real hanging over the railing. I'm super picky, so I spent a good amount of $$$ on them, but I should get a few years off of them. My geraniums still look new!

Why not? I think it is a great idea and from the street who is going to know? I spent an absolute fortune on our back patio last year and trying to keep everything alive was such a chore. Our front porch gets the west sun an nothing can withstand that heat or sun so this year, I went the faux route. I just ordered a couple more using your link. Thank you for recommending. BTW, I love those trees - might have to look into those for the winter months. :)

I live in Ft. Worth Texas and I feel your pain! We have a pool and could not keep any flowers alive in the pots around the pool. Then I found Faux Flowers last year...they are beautiful. My husband watered them, not knowing they were artificial😅 The only thing I can grow in these pots are Sedum Autumn Joy, it withstands the heat and the Snowmageddon winters. Yours look beautiful!!

These really turned out great!! I have to say my TEMU order arrived in as little as 3 to 5 days. Temu now has items that say local warehouse, and those items arrive much quicker. I know we have all become so use to the over night or 2 day delivery from Amazon. You have no ide how many products are the same as TEMU at much lower prices. If you are not in a major rush and can't wait the extra time it really is worth saving that money on TEMU.. Great Video!!

I'm with you, fake flowers are making more and more sense. I live in the country, the deer, rabbits, ground hog, are eating all of them.. I put a bunch of fakes out and a couple days later they were gone, the whole stem. They dragged them some where😅
