Letting players overlap items when placing them allows for a lot of creative freedom in using stuff in new ways. I think its a bit less freedom in Enshrouded compared to valheim but on the other hand there are a lot more materials to work with as well as much better terrain modification
@@Ketmo785 Agreed. As someone who's got 1000+ hours in Valheim, at least half of them building, it does take getting used to Enshrouded's system, and I really don't like how you can only rotate build pieces 90 degree but on the other hand, you can do a lot of things you couldn't do in Valheim. My ideal building system would be a combination of the best parts of both.
Nice Ideas! For the window part: You can actually plant potting soil with lots of beautiful little flowers. You can find that terrain at Hintertann. 😍 It makes the landscapes/buildings so beautiful!
Thank you. Yes Enshrouded allow for a lot of freedom in terms of building! There is so much stuff you can do. I have several building videos planned showcasing different building tricks. I just need to find the time.
I enjoy making youtube videos as a hobby and it's even better when people actually like the stuff I make so it's a win win for me sharing stuff like this :)
There are so many tricks possible in this game. I have a video planned that showcase some really cool stuff for the outside of the house. Just need to find time making the video :)
I don't understand why they didn't make circler piece to begin with or make so things could be rotate so you can make round buildings. I hope they add that feature in later.
Personally I wish they introduced a wedge shape. PRetty much like how roof behaves but for walls to make diagonal walls possible. That would help a lot for a bit more "round" shapes
Glad you found it useful! I really like that there are a lot of small building tricks like this possible in Enshrouded hat really can improve the looks of bases.
Me love them plants 💚
Glad att du gillar! Riktigt kul hur många som har tittat och gillat de videor jag gjort för Enshrouded. Jag har ju bara en pytteliten hobbykanal och vanligtvis van med att typ 1000 tittare på en av mina videor är superbra.
They have it now. They did not have it when i made this video. You can create flowerpots with flowers in them at the farmer but you also got the pots without flowers. There are tricks to get farm soil inside of the flowerpots enabling planting whatever you like in them. The easiest way is to place farm soil first, then remove the farmsoil you just placed. Then place the flowerpot where you just removed the farm soil and then select building hammer again and press undo (Y) to get the soil back in place now that the flowerpot is in place.
Not 100% sure I understand your question but if its placing single blocks of terrain you mean then the top section of the building tab that has all the single cube tiles have one cube that has a terrain symbol. If you choose that one you get the small terrain blocks.
In the 1m blocks section, pick number 3. You can also identify which option works with which block with the icon. Walls and foundations have a wall icon. Roof blocks have a roof icon. And terrain blocks have a mountain icon. Check option 3 in the 1m section and you'll notice it has a mountain icon -- indicating it utilizes terrain blocks instead of foundation/wall materials.
@@christopherflores5405 Picking number 3 did the trick! I had not noticed the little icons on the 1m blocks. Now I can finally make my flowerpots. Thank you ☺👍
Thank you. And in regards of the keyboard. I am aware. I don't like the solution of voiceover since I don't think the commentary ends up as natural for that as when recording voice and gameplay at the same time. I will however buy a more silent keyboard (I have a very loud mechanical one with red switches) so just switching keyboard should help a lot. It's on my todo list.
I am not fluent enough in german to reply in german (I'm Swedish) but I understand you think my keyboard is loud. I am aware. I need to do something about it.
I LOVE how creative people are getting with the build mechanics in Enshrouded! Definitely gonna try the "window trick". 😍

No problem! Hopefully I can come up with a few more good tips like this for Enshrouded. Hopefully in the form of a lot longer complete build video.

@@Ketmo785Much like Valheim where you can use things to make something completely different from what they're intended.
@riteasrain Valheim gave so much freedom in terms of rotating and overlapping building parts. Enshrouded does terrain better thought

The game has actual flower pots, how can we plant in them?

I can only use the farmsoil at the terrain section, not with te 1M blocks. How do you do that?

Hey ^^ Your Tutorials are great! But you Keyboard is so loud, could you make an voiceover?

Schönes Video aber Du mußt dir unbedingt eine neue Tastatur kaufen. Dieses geklapper nervt .
